Especially in regards to his relationships with women. Over the weekend, fellow Atlanta rapper Big Bank DTE showed a clip of Future back in the studio, working on new music. In the previewed track, the  Purple Reign  rapper croons: “I don’t know her name but she had my child.” It’s unclear whether or not this is another moment of Future going above and beyond to drop a wild lyric or in reference to his recent drama where a woman filed a paternity lawsuit against him. K anye West is busy doing Sunday sermons and spitting out historically incorrect information about Black History. Now, his pastor claims that he is immersed in reading the Bible and coming to Christ. Tyson said in a recent podcast , “[The] first time I talked to [Kanye] the first Sunday in June, he told me, ‘I got radically saved five weeks ago.’ I said, ‘Kanye, what happened five weeks ago?’ He said, ‘I was just under the weight of my sin and I was being convicted that I was running from God, and I knew I needed to make things right, so I came to Christ. I came out of the darkness into the light.’” He also said, “I spent about three hours just going through the gospel, making sure he understood clearly about the atonement of Jesus Christ, that God is holy, that we are sinners, that Christ came to die in the place of sinners, that by repenting and believing in him, we can have eternal life. And [Kanye] was like, ‘Hey, man. I told you. I’ve been radically saved; I believe that message and I wanna get that message out to the world.’ [I told him], ‘As long as you’re professing Christ and living for him, I’m here to help you.’” Tyson also revealed that he is studying the Bible, even though he is a “ proud ” non-reader of books, “He’s so excited about studying the Bible. How can you say no?…The fruit that I’m seeing is he’s no longer continuing in some of the sin patterns that he was before he came to Christ. Right now, every day, he is living and walking with God, so from what I can tell, there’s no reason for me not to encounter that and be a part of that.” Maybe the pastor could turn Kanye on to reading about his history. This was the same man who said slavery was a choice,  Malcolm X wasn’t relatable and has repeatedly admitted to not voting a day in his life. Authorities say that a Ferrari was speeding at a high rate before the vehicle went over the center median and flipped multiple times. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. The driver was seriously hurt and is currently in Intensive care. He is expected to survive. While the driver’s identity hasn’t been officially identified, sources close to the situation say it is indeed Spence. Spence is undefeated at 26-0 with 21 knockouts. But all of the changes in his personal life may have helped Safaree Samuels neglect his finances. That’s because the IRS has just slapped the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” reality star with a tax lien to the tune of more than $35,000, alleging that the groom hasn’t paid his taxes in years. According to the federal tax lien, which was filed last month and obtained by BOSSIP, Safaree owes a total of $35,166 for his income from 2012, 2017 and 2018. Specifically, the IRS contends Safaree owes $9,572 for income from 2012 – when he was still with Nicki Minaj – along with $13,699 for 2017 and $11,893 for 2018, when his income apparently mushroomed from his “Love & Hip Hop: New York” checks, a slew of personal appearances and a sex toy line. The IRS doesn’t mess around when it comes to collecting from alleged tax dodgers and has seized assets and even jailed celebs like Lauryn Hill and Wesley Snipes over their tax debts. Safaree had not officially responded to the lien as of Oct. 9.

Henceforth, the balance beam queen shall be known as “Simone Biles, The Most Decorated Female Gymnast Of All Time”. It’s like A Tribe Called Quest , you say the whole thing. According to CNN , Biles captured the GOAT title after winning her 21st championship in Stuttgart, Germany on Tuesday. Of the 21 championship medals that the 22-year-old holds, 15 of them are gold which is also a record for World Championship medals. Jason Weaver Turned Down $2M For OG ‘The Lion King’ To Collect Future Royalties

Source: Leon Bennett / Getty Jason Weaver’s career might not be today what it was back in the 90’s when he was popping up on shows like Smart Guy and films like Drumline (crazy underappreciated joint). But fret not for he’s still collecting bread from one of his greatest performances ever, Simba in The Lion King . That’s right, the same guy who played a young Michael Jackson in the 1992 mini-series, The Jacksons: An American Dream, also voiced your favorite cartoon lion from the early 90’s not named Tony. Luckily Weaver’s mother was showing and proving that she wasn’t raising no fool and instead of taking a $2 million payday from Disney, she felt it better if they negotiated a contract which included future royalties from the upcoming film even though “this was definitely at a time when Disney wasn’t doing those kind of deals.” In an interview on Vlad TV, Jason revealed that thanks to his mama he’s still getting checks cut by Disney whose The Lion King seems to be on TV every damn weekend. “Disney had a reputation of that, for like re-releasing stuff. I think at that time they had put out  Sleeping Beauty  and some of their old catalog from when Walt Disney was alive. They were releasing that stuff when they were releasing the new Disney stuff, so [Weaver’s mother] was able to see the playing field and go, ‘Wait a minute, this is going to make a lot of money over time, so what happens when my son turns 40? Is he going to be able to get a check for this when they eventually re-release this.” Talk about motherly instincts. After negotiating a new deal for his role in the animated film, Jason walked away with a cool $100K and future royalties for his work. Of course he eventually made back the $2 million that was originally turned down but none of this would’ve been made possible without some good ol’ motherly advice. Mama definitely knows best. In a recent interview, the Bajan singer and mogul confirmed that she passed on performing at the 2019 Super Bowl specifically and unequivocally because of Colin Kaepernick. By now you should know, Kap has been essentially blackballed by the NFL as a consequence of protesting injustice by kneeling while the National Anthem was played before football games. Many have shown support for Kaepernick for sacrificing his career, including Rihanna. In a new cover story with Vogue for its November 2019 issue, Rihanna let her rationale for curving the NFL be known. “I couldn’t dare do that. For what? Who gains from that? Not my people,” Rihanna told the publication. “I just couldn’t be a sellout. I couldn’t be an enabler.” She added, “There’s things within that organization that I do not agree with at all, and I was not about to go and be of service to them in any way.” Nevertheless, her buddy JAY-Z has teamed with the NFL . But don’t bank on Rihanna being one of the acts Roc Nation books for an NFL performance in the name of social justice. Salute this Queen. Remember when The Game got a lot of flack for constantly name dropping entertainment and Hip-Hop peers in his raps? Well, Chance The Rapper must’ve not gotten that memo because on the latest segment of The Late Late Show ‘s “Carpool Karaoke” the Grammy Award winner name dropped some big time celebs in-between rocking out with James Corden. When asked what his relationship was like with fellow Chicagoan, the last real American President, Barack Obama, Chance revealed that “I don’t have a number for him but I have a number for him.” He explained “I have a person that I can call that will say “Okay, i’ll have him call you.” Well, that a helluva lot closer to speaking to Obama than anyone of us will ever get. And if you thought Chance’s chances of getting ahold of Jay-Z was any easier, think again. “That’s the same way with Jay-Z. Jay-Z and Barack Obama are very very similar. Both of them have an assistant that you have to call and then you get a call from a private number and it’s either Jay-Z or Barack Obama on the phone. I never know which one it is calling when I get that call back.” We’d settle for a wave from anyone of them in person if anything.
