Earlier today, we discussed the imminent custody battle between Jenelle Evans and David Eason. We weren't exactly going out on a limb in our prediction that it would soon turn ugly. After all, these are two of the angriest people alive, and it doesn't take much to set either of them off. But while we knew the fireworks were coming, we didn't think the situation would become quite so explosive quite so soon. In the past 24 hours, both Jenelle and David have contacted (or threatened to contact) the police. Now, they're engaged in a sort high-stakes staring contest, and you can bet neither one of wants to be the first to blink. Here's everything about the situation at this point: 1. The Formerly Happy Couple The situation between David Eason and Jenelle Evans intensified rapidly today. Jenelle announced their separation last week, and now, David has issued a statement of his own. 2. The Announcement On October 31, Jenelle posted a lengthy statement to her Instagram page in which she stated that she had reached the decision to end her marriage. 3. For the Kids … And For Herself “Like anyone else, I want what’s best for my kids, and I want to be happy,” Jenelle wrote. 4. Better Late Than Never “The kids and I have moved away from David,” Jenelle stated on the second page of her informal announcement. 5. The End of the War “Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me, and for my kids,” she continued. “Today I’ve filed papers to start that process.” 6.
