Ten years ago, Rihanna hadn’t solidified her place in music, Beyoncé and Jay Z weren’t even parents yet and Kanye West was Kardashian-free. 2009 was a such a transitional year, too. It was the end of a decade, we lost Michael Jackson, and the death of autotune was on the rise. Music still had a little meaning and a little fun, and wasn’t so drug and club influenced just yet. Life was much simpler back then. @Only1Vlad: What a crazy roller coaster 2009 – 2019 has been thus far. An entire decade of ups and downs (like all of you). The most important takeaway I’ve really learned and took away from the past 10 years is – people aren’t always going to be in your life. So, hold on to memories. Kailyn Lowry and Jenelle Evans have not always seen eye-to-eye. Or neck-to-neck. Or wait-to-waist. The MTV personalities simply don’t get along in any way, shape or form; that’s our main point here. This wasn’t always the case, of course. But you can relive how Kailyn and Jenelle’s friendship turned into a feud for the ages HERE . We mention this as a preamble because Jenelle just filed to divorce David Eason , finally pulling the plug on a marriage after one kid, one (alleged) beating of Jenelle by her husband and one dog murder. “With time away from Teen Mom I’ve started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes,” said Evans on Instagram yesterday, adding simply: “I’m starting that now. The kids and I have moved away from David.” So there it is. At last. And here is Kailyn’s opportunity to laugh in her rival’s face, right? To throw some salt on Jenelle’s wound and to do some kind of victory lap and to kick the ex-Teen Mom cast member when she’s down, right? Nope, apparently. Wrong. While chatting with In Touch Weekly on Thursday, October 31, about Evans and the demise of her marriage, Lowry actually took the high road. According to this tabloid, Lowry said that she “wishes [Evans] the best” going forward and, well… that was it. Why did Kailyn not dance on her foe’s romantic grave here? We can’t say for certain, of course. But perhaps it’s because this is actually one area in which Lowry can relate to Evans; heck, the former has some major babby daddy drama going on RIGHT NOW . And Lowry just didn’t want to pile on during what has to be a troubling time for Jenelle. Added Evans in her divorce announcement: Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process. I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together, but you’ll hear from us again soon. Why did Evans finally take this step now? Was it because she at last realized she’s married to a violent bigot? Or because she realized she would never be able to land another television gig as long as Eason was her husband? We may never find out. For now, though, we’re more concerned with a question tackled below: What will happen with Ensley moving forward?
