It’s only been two days since the world saw the 90 Day Fiance Season 7 teaser trailer , and some couples are already garnering extra attention. Robert and Anny are already turning heads, in part because the trailer makes Anny look like the franchise’s next big gold digger. But now, Robert’s past has been dredged up, and it includes multiple children, evictions, and two arrests in the same year. First, a quick refresher, since we don’t really know these couples yet. Robert is a 41-year-old father from Florida. Anny (whose name has also been shown as Annie in TLC’s subtitles) is a 30-year-old from the Dominican Republic. The pair met on social media and spoke for six months before meeting in person — when Robert took a cruise that stopped in the DR. The two were together for only 8 hours. Robert decided that it was enough time to make his choice, and proposed to Anny. The trailer showed Robert waiting for Anny at the airport with a small child. That child is his five-year-old son, Bryson. (Bryson is as cute as a button and charged towards Anny excitedly when she arrived) Records show that Robert also has two older children, a boy and a girl. It appears that they live with their mother, and it is believed that they do not see Robert very often. He has paid child support for several years, though it appears that he filed to amend the amount of support in 2016. Things may — or may not — be a little strained with the mother of Robert’s older children. But it sounds like things with Bryson’s mother are much worse. On June 6, 2016, Robert was the petitioner in a domestic violence with children case against Bryson’s mother. Later that year, Bryson’s mother was arrested for domestic battery and for battery of a police officer. Robert was listed as a witness, but it is unclear if he was the victim. Either way, it sounds like Bryson is much better off with Robert. That said, Robert has his own history with law enforcement. In 2012, he was arrested twice — both times for driving with a suspended license. His license had been suspended in November of 2011. This was not unrelated to his eviction notice in 2012, to which he responded by pleading to the judge that he had missed one payment only due to being in jail. The judge sided with him. In 2014, he was sent a notice of eviction, but managed to settle things with his landlord. Sometimes, with 90 Day Fiance couples, it’s impossible to keep their relationship outcome a secret. Marriage certificates are an item that, in this business, we call a clue. So far, no amount of digging has turned up anything — except that if Robert and Anny are living together in Florida, they’re not advertising it. Maybe they are broken up — or maybe they are just keeping things under wraps, as mandated by their NDA. If they don’t get married, they will be only the second couple in the show’s history to not tie the knot — the first being Azan and poor Nicole . Real talk? In the trailer, Anny comes across as a gold digger. At least, that’s how TLC wants fans to see her, apparently. Does Robert have any gold to dig, metaphorically speaking? Anybody can have a bad month or year and risk eviction, and 2014 was a while ago. But if Anny is looking for a cushy life and Robert cannot provide that, maybe that will spell doom for their engagement. We hope, for adorable litlte Bryson’s sake, that if Robert does marry, it’s to someone who will marry for the right reasons and will love and cherish Bryson. For that matter, Robert seems like a decent guy. We hope that he finds his happily ever after, whether or not it’s with Anny. For years the beauty industry ignored the needs of the Black and Brown community by limiting their products to those who fit within their guideline. Once entrepreneurs started creating products that reflected their needs, bigger companies followed suit. Brands took an active role in becoming more inclusive to various skin tones and hair textures. While this is step in the right direction, haircare brand Aveda shows us there’s still a ways to go. This week, Aveda charge a curly haired customer of color a $10.00 “texture fee” because her hair would require more products. In a now viral tweet, Audre voiced her disbelief. So I just got charged $10 extra at Aveda salon for the “textured” hair fee. The woman at the counter said, “It's because we have to use extra product. Audre continued to say, “ The response was that all curly-haired folks get charged more, especially when flat-ironed. It’s the principle. If I am paying u to wash and style my hair, just because its curly doesn’t mean it takes more product or time. Please DM us with additional information. While our salons are independently owned and operated, we will ensure this matter is shared with the appropriate teams. “ Once again, there is an issue that screams lack of diversity. A customer shouldn’t have to pay a fee because their hair texture requires more product. Perhaps a modification of the products that address the needs of curly, kinky, and coily hair is a better solution. Planet earth is the home to billions of people who look, speak, and act differently. In such a diverse world, we still encounter these moments that make people of color question why their physical attributes are not good enough to co-exist with everyone else’s. Although Aveda stated they’re “independently owned and operated”, this mentality is not specific to the store that Audre visited. This policy is practiced by other companies all over the world. Audre and Aveda have not come to a conclusion yet, but I hope she is vindicated. What is likely to happen is Aveda will put out a statement and conduct an equity and inclusion training for their staff. This has become the formula brands resort to when their employees lack good judgement. While it can be hard to believe that the YSL ambassador is just coming into her own on the beauty front , this once again proves that celebs are just like us! In a recent interview with Refinery29 , the actress revealed that just like many young Black woman , she has had her reservations about her natural hair. “The struggle’s always been real for me and my hair,” she tells the publication.” The options can seem limited when you have a kinkier texture. I really prefer my hair being natural. While natural hair can be a huge deal for many young Black women who has experienced push back from society about their coily texture, Zoe shares that beauty lane as a whole has been a bit of a personal transformation. “The same goes for makeup, too,” she’s continues. “It shouldn’t be something you use to cover up. And I feel like YSL Beauty isn’t asking me to cover myself up or be something I’m not. Makeup should highlight your individuality.” We have to admit, this is refreshing to hear. In the current Instagram-era where many people believe in Facetune and heavy makeup, perfection can be an unrealistic goal in beauty. It’s nice to see a celeb get real and honest about the constructs of the beauty world. As the star goes through a timeline of her looks through her interview, we see how she gradually experimented with her look to find her niche and transformed into a beauty icon before our eyes. From little to no makeup to edgy looks and ultimately graduating to safe and classy beauty moments, Zoe is truly unpredictable and we can’t get enough. Source: Bravo / Getty Marina Robinson Said Bryson Bryant Left Her High & Dry After Fathering Daughter The mother of Nene Leakes’ oldest son’s toddler recently blasted him on social media as a deadbeat dad and alleged drug user. But Symone Davis isn’t the only woman who has beef with Bryson Bryant. Another woman has just sued the sometime “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member for chronically failing to support or parent her daughter. The Georgia Department of Human Services recently sued Bryant on behalf of Marina Robinson for back and current child support for her six-year-old girl after the child ended up on Medicaid, according to the suit, which was obtained by BOSSIP. Robinson said she and Bryant were in a relationship for about a year and were living together when she became pregnant. She said he has admitted he was the father and was even present for the birth of the girl, who BOSSIP is not naming. But she said he has never stepped up to be a parent, nor has he paid for any of the daughter’s expenses. Robinson said she is unemployed and her parents are now supporting her and her daughter. She believes Bryant’s reality show checks are more than enough to provide for the girl and is seeking both current and retroactive child support of at least $400 a month, the suit states. The child’s alleged grandmother, Nene Leakes, is not mentioned in the suit. Bryant has not yet responded to the case. Davis, the mother of Bryant’s two-year-old son, also sued him for child support, but the case was dismissed last summer, court documents show.

Using this as an opportunity to share a small glimpse at his new baby is smart, given that Ryan probably wanted as many eyes to see it as humanly possible in an effort to get the word out. Not only that, but this serves as a gender reveal of sorts, too. The family hasn’t officially announced their newborn’s sex just yet, but from Ryan’s caption it’s safe to assume that these two are now parents to three girls. Congrats to the happy couple on their growing family!
