Remember when Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson tweeted a picture of himself looking scarily thin? That was for his role in the Mario Van Peebles directed flick, All Things Fall Apart which will be coming to DVD on Valentine’s Day. 50 Cent stars as a college football star who discovers a career ending health condition. He must fight for his health and deal with not being able to do what he loves as his family struggles to come to terms with their own dreams being shattered because of 50′s deteriorating health. Lynn Whitfield plays 50′s mother and Van Peebles plays opposite Whitfield as her longtime boyfriend. Cedric Sanders and Ray Liotta round out the cast. All Things Fall Apart was screened at film festivals around the country including the Urbanworld Film Festival . The film has already had its network premiere on BET . Rapper 50 Cent, never one to be accused of family friendly entertainment, saw half of his performance bleeped out, but still rocked the house on The X Factor finale. Astro may not be the inaugural X Factor winner , but the young rapper did make his way onto the finale, rapping alongside Fiddy. That’s a feat in and of itself! Also, L.A. Lakers guard Derek Fisher introduced Mr. Cent, his good friend, and other Lakers – Matt Barnes and Steve Blake – also made it up on stage somehow. We can’t explain it either. Just watch the performance below. 50 Cent Live on X Factor In case the censoring rendered it all unclear, 50 performed his latest single “Wait Until Tonight” followed by his 2003 smash hit, “In Da Club,” featuring Astro. The kid’s got game … unlike Barnes, Blake and Fisher, who just waved their arms a lot … with Kobe Bryant hurt, maybe they’re getting in shape to play extra minutes?

One of more vocal supporters over the years (really) has been 50 Cent, who told told reporters at the VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul concert in NYC how happy he is. “I am so happy for her,” the rapper said , before musing, “Britney Spears had a rough time. The press took the biggest opportunity ever to dog her.” “When you reach that point, you work really hard to get where she is. It’s very interesting because the public likes to build you to destroy you for entertainment’s sake.” “I’m just really happy for her to be happy.” Fiddy continued by saying he thinks Britney is ready to be married for a third time (before K-Fed, she wed high school pal Jason Alexander for 55 hours). “I hope she is,” he remarked. “Wouldn’t you like to hope that? Let’s just put that out there in the universe, that she is ready.” She seems it.
