Still Bangin’: Aaron Hernandez Gets Prison Tatts While Behind Bars

Thug life. Aaron Hernandez Spotted In Court With New Tattoo Received In Prison Aaron Hernandez obviously has a thing for ink. One would assume that the time he’s spent behind bars would keep him from adding to his massive collection…but lo and behold, the alleged gang member and murder suspect popped up in court with fresh ink on his hand last week. You know, there’s a very good reason prison tattoos are illegal…can anyone say, severe infection, tetanus, hepatitis C, or even HIV? But Aaron Hernandez isn’t exactly well known for making responsible life choices . SMH. Via RadarOnline : Disgraced former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez has been in jail for nearly a year— and it looks like in addition to allegedly assaulting another inmate, the accused murderer has been collecting new ink behind bars. The heavily-tattooed 24-year-old— who has been locked up in the Bristol County House of Corrections in North Dartmouth, Mass., since his arrest last year in the June 2013 killing of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd— was spotted sporting a new design at a May 29 court date. On the back of his right hand, the former pro bared the letters “CBS/WBS IWBTG.” While the meaning of the letters is unknown, Hernandez did not have the tattoo at his last pre-prison appearances. It’s unlikely Hernandez will be able to consult professional tattoo artists anytime soon: The inmate was indicted last month in the July 2012 murder of Cape Verde natives Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado. Any gang-affiliated peeps or current inmates want to clue us in on what the tatt might mean? Anonymously of course…don’t put yourself (or your crimes) on blast in our comment area.

Raise Your Right Hand: Dolphins Baller Mike Pouncey Subpoenaed To Testify That Aaron Hernandez Is A Gun Trafficker!

The D.A. is looking to bury Aaron Hernandez UNDER the jail! Via HuffingtonPost Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey was served with a subpoena by Massachusetts State Police at Gillette Stadium on Sunday afternoon, as first reported by Sports Illustrated’s Pete Thamel and Greg Bedard. The subpoena is related to the investigation of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez’s connections to interstate gun trafficking, according to an unnamed SI source. Citing unnamed Dolphins sources, Albert Breer of NFL.com also reported that Pouncey had been served with a subpoena outside the visitors’ locker room on Sunday after the Patriots defeated the Dolphins 27-17 in Foxborough, Mass. Breer reported that the subpoena doesn’t necessarily mean Pouncey is “is being implicated in any wrongdoing.” Similarly, the Sports Illustrated report indicated authorities view Pouncey “as a material witness who could advance their case against Hernandez.” Neither the NFL or the Patriots were aware that papers were going to be served following the game at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, reported Kevin Clark of the Wall Street Journal, citing an unnamed source familiar with the matter. “The next thing that will happen is Pouncey will have to find a lawyer,” ESPN legal analyst Lester Munson explained after the SI report. “He’s going to have to decide whether he is going to answer questions from the prosecutors in Massachusetts or he’s going to protect himself with the fifth amendment. And then the state police will evaluate everything that Pouncey says and determine the next step in the investigation.” The 24-year-old offensive lineman and his twin brother, Maurkice, attended the University of Florida with Hernandez. The Pouncey brothers’ friendship with Hernandez generated headlines in July when they were photographed at a nightclub wearing hats with the message “FREE HERNANDEZ. We’re all about to find out exactly how much Mr. Pouncey wants his BFF to be free… Image via Zimbio/ATD

Shayanna Jenkins, Girlfriend of Aaron Hernandez, Indicted as Accessory to Murder

Shayanna Jenkins, the girlfriend of Aaron Hernandez, has been indicted on a single perjury charge as an accessory to the murder he is charged with. A Massachusetts prosecutor said Friday that a grand jury indicted Jenkins on a single count in relation to the investigation into the June 17 slaying. Odin Lloyd was found shot to death in an industrial park in North Attleborough, Mass., near Hernandez’s home, where Jenkins also lives with their child. Shayanna Jenkins ‘ sister had been dating Lloyd. Aaron Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in Odin Lloyd’s death and is has been held without bail for the past several months. The prosecutor says Hernandez’s cousin, Tanya Singleton, also was indicted on a new charge of conspiracy to commit accessory after the fact. The takeaway there is that the authorities believe she helped one of Aaron’s alleged accomplices get out of trouble by buying him a bus ticket to Florida. Aaron Hernandez Case Latest Details That man, Ernest Wallace, was eventually arrested in Florida, and is charged with being an accessory to Odin Lloyd’s murder. He remains in custody. Singleton has already pleaded not guilty to a criminal contempt charge. Authorities say she refused to testify before a grand jury in the murder case. Jenkins and Singleton were not arrested and have no court date yet. Aaron Hernandez’ s girlfriend faces up to two-and-a-half years in a jail if convicted on the perjury charge, though she would likely not get the full amount. If she goes to jail, child services would have to make arrangements with Jenkins’ family for the care of her child, as both parents would be in cells.

UnSportsmanlike Conduct: Canadian Corrections Officers Rock Orange Jumpsuits Bearing Aaron Hernandez’s Name And Number To Patriots/Bills Game

Aaron Hernandez couldn’t be there for the Patriots season opener against the Buffalo Bills but his presence was felt nonetheless… Via NY Daily News reports : Dressed in orange jumpsuits painted with the surname “Hernandez” and the No. 81 on the backs, 10 Canadian men who identified themselves as corrections and police officers stood in Section 102 of Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday. They posed with Patriots and Bills fans alike, standing atop their bleacher seats in Row 15 below O.J. Simpson’s retired No. 32 marker in the team’s ring of honor. The men planned to wear the outfits to offer a Hernandez presence at the Patriots’ season opener as Hernandez, the former New England tight end, sat in his solitary cell at the Bristol County House of Correction back in Massachusetts as he awaits his murder trial. Hernandez, 23, was arrested for allegedly orchestrating the killing of Odin Lloyd, a 27-year-old landscaper who moonlighted as a linebacker on the Boston Bandits, a team in the New England Football League. Hernandez was arraigned on first-degree murder and five firearms charges in Superior Court Friday afternoon in Fall River, Mass. “He’s guilty,” Kevin Buchan said. “No two ways about it.” Hernandez was not allowed to watch the game, according to sheriff Tom Hodgson. “Absolutely not,” Hodgson said. “No way.” SMH… Do you think these guys went too far or is it an important reminder to society about all the dirt Hernandez was allowed to get away with as an NFL baller before his murderous acts finally caught up to him? Lamar Odom: Refusing Interventions, Ignoring Khloe, "Smoking Himself to Death"?

Lamar Odom reportedly refused another intervention with friends during the downward spiral that is torpedoing his NBA career and marriage to Khloe Kardashian. “He’s headed for destruction,” says a friend who reportedly flew out to L.A. with a handful of Odom’s pals from N.Y. in hopes of getting Lamar help. Lamar Odom: OUT of Rehab “A few weeks ago his friends from the projects back in Queens flew out to L.A. and banged on Lamar’s door trying to have an intervention with him.” “They wanted to take him home to New York and get him clean but Lamar wouldn’t open the door, telling them he ‘didn’t give a f–k what the world thinks.’” Odom added that they “‘don’t know the pressure I’m under,'” but the friends finally got him to open his door, and were distressed by what they saw . “He’s smoking crack now,” the insider revealed. His friends “knew he liked to freebase cocaine, but they were shocked to see him with crack. They found more than 60 grams of crack in his possession.” “He had no intentions of stopping.” This intervention was one of three held with Odom – the others by NBA teammates and Khloe Kardashian and family – in an attempt to get him clean. No dice. Addicted to Oxycontin and Ambien, Lamar briefly entered a rehab clinic last August under pressure from the Kardashians, but left after three weeks. That was sadly a lot longer than he lasted this week, when Odom checked out of rehab after just one day and immediately went off the grid again. His whereabouts are unknown, as the athlete and his camp have kept his estranged wife, and the entire Kardashian clan, in the dark about everything. That includes Lamar’s arrest for DUI last week, which Khloe found out about from TMZ like everyone else. Not a good sign for their future – or his life. “Lamar feels invincible because he’s rich and famous, but he also seems scared that his destiny is to be a drug addict like his father,” the source said. “He’s really struggling right now. It’s bad. We are all at a loss for words.” “His friends fear he’s suicidal and trying to smoke himself to death.”

Aaron Hernandez Pleads Not Guilty to Murder, NFL Star "Confident He Will Be Exonerated"

As expected, former NFL star Aaron Hernandez pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder and more in a Massachusetts court on Friday. Six times, a charge was read and six times, his plea was “Not guilty.” Hernandez pleaded not guilty to the murder of his friend, 27-year-old semipro football player Odin Lloyd, and five accompanying weapons charges. Today was his arraignment. His next hearing is October 9. Hernandez will seek bail on that date. Until then, he’ll remain held in a Bristol County correctional facility, where he has been since his arrest on June 26. A Bristol County District Court judge has ordered the athlete held without bail, citing the seriousness of the charges and the convincing evidence . Hernandez’s attorneys will attack the circumstantial evidence next month, but bail is unlikely with other investigations – with possible links to him – pending. Just the same, his lawyers said he will be “exonerated” and asked the public not to jump to conclusions based on “one-sided and untested” evidence. “In a sense, this is like the opening kickoff,” Hernandez lawyer Charles Rankin said after the arraignment, “and we have a long way to go before trial.” “We encourage everyone to keep an open mind. We feel confident when evidence is presented in a court of law, Aaron Hernandez will be exonerated.” Last month, prosecutors divulged that police are probing Hernandez’s possible ties to a double homicide in Boston in 2012 in which two men were killed. Then, in February 2013, a shooting in Florida took place and one of Hernandez’s friends said he shot him in the face and blinded him in one eye. That friend, Alexander Bradley, has filed a lawsuit that says the ex-New England Patriot shot him as they argued in a car, then dumped him in an alley to die. Hernandez was granted a stay in that case until criminal charges against him in Massachusetts – and any other possible jurisdiction – have been settled. Stay tuned.
