Lea Michele tried. She really did. Aware that Cory Monteith had a history of substance abuse, Michele did all she could to protect her fellow Glee star during the year-plus they dated. According to a TMZ insider, Cory – described as sweet but naive – was surrounded by a ” a zoo of piranhas ” in Hollywood, with danger around every corner. But Michele stood by her man and took the lead in convincing him to attend rehab this spring after his addiction cropped back up. Unfortunately, she could not control Monteith’s behavior in his native Canada, which, as previously reported, contrasted greatly from his actions in Hollywood . He died last Saturday in a Vancouver hotel room after a night out with friends. This same source says Michele was instrumental in arranging Monteith’s cremation and memorial. She took the reins and made it a lot easier on Cory’s mother in the wake of her son’s tragedy. R.I.P.

Rihanna is a real classy girl…you know the kind of girl you would think has a harvard education….who works with poor people helping them better their life….bettering the world….and not a pile of gutter classless trash that belongs in a trailer park or shanty equivalent…who lets her husband beat her…because she’s so damaged and knows she can’t do better…cuz she hates herself more than he hates her….you know Royalty…and not just some hooker who won the lottery and misuses her fame, power, money….spreading negativity…teaching our youth bad lessons….all while showing some nipple ring in a t-shirt…making all seem pretty ok….cuz ultimately, I don’t care about the future generation, or Rihaana and the lessons she teaches through her actions, but I do care about tits…and that’s something she tries to deliver on…and that is good enough for me….if you know what I mean, which you don’t.

Ice-T understandably felt disrespected by his wife, Coco, when pictures of her canoodling with rapper AP.9 hit the web courtesy of celeb gossip site Media Takeout. Naturally, Ice responded by going OFF on Twitter. “Don’t get it twisted, I’m not happy about this s–t,” he wrote. “Most of [the pictures are] disrespectful and in bad taste. She’s made me look and feel like s–t.” Coco responded by apologizing completely and sincerely. “Ice is right, the pics I took with this man were in poor taste & I disrespected my husband,” she admitted. “However the pics were the only thing that happened.” “I feel so sad,the bottom line is I love Ice & I can understand why he’s upset theres no excuse for my actions. I’m so sorry baby & to everyone else.” Ice-T has since deleted his missive, so we’re assuming he accepts the apology. We also assume Coco’s right, and that there was nothing more to this. Anyone who has watched Ice Loves Coco knows that they have a loving, stable and surprisingly normal relationship for a couple that stars on an E! show. Coco may have made an error in judgment and disrespected Ice-T, but if there were a real affair going on, she’d obviously be more careful about it. Hopefully she makes it up to her man in ways only Coco possibly can, and all will be right with the world again. Cross your fingers, fans. Cross your fingers.

Posters featuring Rihanna’s battered face have been plastered around Stockholm, Sweden, protesting Chris Brown’s concert in the city November 19. Point, Stockholm: The posters feature the Rihanna photos taken by police after Brown’s 2009 arrest for felony domestic violence. It’s not known who is responsible for the “advertisements.” The objective, clearly, is to compel concert organizers to cancel Brown’s show because of his violent past; this is not the first such opposition he’s encountered. Nor will it be the last, at this rate and given his rekindled romance with Rihanna. In September, unknown parties in England adorned his album with warning stickers that read, “WARNING: Do Not Buy This Album! This Man Beats Women .” The stickers were removed quickly by HMV, but not before photos circulated. Fellow musicians, such as Miranda Lambert, have also taken a stand against Brown, upset with the adulation of the Grammy Awards and Team Breezy. The R&B singer remains toxic to many artists, even as his star keeps rising. Last month, Irish hip-hop group the Original Rudeboys turned down an opportunity to play with Brown as special guests at Brown’s O2 show. “Even though it’s a huge opportunity to play in the 02 with a major hip hop star, we are completely against Chris Brown’s assault on Rihanna,” member Sean Walsh said. “In addition, with our latest single Blue Eyes being about domestic violence it goes against everything we are about and supporting Chris Brown would send the wrong message.” Bottom line?
