Austin Mahone is feeling especially hot at the moment. But it’s not due to the singer’s handsome mug. It’s a result of an illness he’s come down with that has forced the artist to postpone at least one concert date. “I’ve never felt so bad,” Mahone wrote on Instagram today, along with the following photo of him in the hospital. Mahone came down with a 103 fever and a case of the flu early Friday and won’t be able to perform in Miami tonight or Orlando tomorrow night. “It’s Doctor’s orders,” the artist Tweeted. At the moment, the Miami show will take place on October 22 and the Miami concert has been rescheduled for November 1. “I can’t believe this is happening its my first tour I’m so upset. I feel like I’m letting you all down,” wrote Mahone, who joined Taylor Swift on a number of her shows earlier this year. But that’s silly, of course. You go ahead and get better, Austin. Your fans will be there for you upon your return.

The Fifty Shades of Grey casting rumor carousel continues unabated tonight, with the newest name tied to the project being one who isn’t on most people’s radar: Luke Bracey. The Australian hunk, 24, is said to be one of the current frontrunners to replace Charlie Hunnam, who abruptly bailed on the project a week ago. “Luke is at the top of the list,” the insider says, noting that he has discussed the role and chemistry testing is planned with co-star Dakota Johnson. Luke Bracey is best known as Trey Palmer on the Aussie soap Home and Away , and as Leighton Meester’s love interest in the 2011 film Monte Carlo . While making that motion picture, he grew close with Selena Gomez . Earlier this year, after she split from Justin Bieber, the two were spotted holding hands. Other actors rumored to be in the running for 50 Shades include Jamie Dornan , Alexander Skarsgard, Christian Cooke, Theo James and Francois Arnaud. Whoever gets the nod has big shoes to fill. Yes, Michael Bay was attacked in Hong Kong this week while filming Transformers 4. But the director took to his blog today and clarified exactly what went down, saying the actual bizarre event differed from what most reports said about it. Michael Bay: Attacked on Set! “Some drugged up guys were being belligerent asses to my crew for hours in the morning of our first shoot day in Hong Kong,” Bay wrote . “One guy rolled metal carts into some of my actors trying to shake us down for thousands of dollars to not play his loud music or hit us with bricks.” According to the initial story, two brothers randomly went after Bay and demanded nearly $13,000. But Bay says the incident came down to a local vendor asking for four times more than what the film was paying other vendors for their “inconvenience.” “I personally told this man and his friends to forget it we were not going to let him extort us. He didn’t like that answer,” the director blogged. “So an hour later he came by my crew as we were shooting, carrying a long air conditioner unit. He walked right up to me and tried to smack my face, but I ducked threw the air unit on the floor and pushed him away. “That’s when the security jumped on him. But it took seven big guys to subdue him. It was like a Zombie in Brad Pitt’s movie World War Z – he lifted seven guys up and tried to bite them. He actually bit into one of the guards Nike shoe, insane. Thank god it was an Air Max, the bubble popped, but the toe was saved.” Wow. That sounds like the kind of action scene that would be featured in… a Michael Bay movie. “It took fifteen Hong Kong cops in riot gear to deal with these punks,” Bay concluded. “In all, four guys were arrested for assaulting the officers. After that, we had a great day shooting here in Hong Kong.”

Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen make for the coolest bromance of all time. Although before that word was created, you might have just called it “friendship.” The British actors recently went on a sightseeing tour of NYC together and the resulting Twitter pics are, well, the awesomest you’ll see all day for sure: “Empire State! #gogodididonyc @TwoPlaysInRep,” the newly-married Stewart wrote along with a pic of his and McKellen atop the Empire State Building. In the photo, the actors wear matching black bowler hats a la Walter White in Breaking Bad (or the two of them in Waiting For Godot ) and make like tourists. In another shot of them, Stewart writes, “Elmo! #gogodididonyc @TwoPlaysInRep,” while the two pose with a the Sesame Street character in Times Square. Quite a run lately for these two. Just the other week, McKellen, 74, officiated the wedding of Stewart, 73, and Sunny Ozell . Keep the photos coming!

Elle Macpherson is a married woman! The 49-year-old supermodel wed billionaire fiance Jeffrey Soffer in Fiji in an intimate ceremony , according to reports. No other details were available. The pair dated for two years before breaking up in March 2012. They reportedly rekindled their romance and got back together after the real estate developer injured his vertebrae in a helicopter crash later that year. Rather than confirming her engagement earlier this year, she simply wore a gigantic diamond sparkler on her ring finger in March at a charity event. Exchanging vows with Soffer marks the second marriage for Elle Macpherson , who previously married photographer Gilles Bensimon from 1986-1989. She also has two sons, Flynn, 15, and Cy, 10, from her previous, long-term relationship with London financier Arpad Busson, whom she never wed. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
