Just weeks after she revealed her aspirations to become a U.S. congresswoman, the actress has changed her mind. “After much prayer, introspection and discussions with my family, I am withdrawing my candidacy for California’s 44th Congressional District,” Stacey said in an email to CNN . The former Fox News commentator explained that she began her congressional bid with the best of intentions. “I started this run with the intention to address the pressing issues in the district where I live,” she added “I hoped, and remain hopeful, that I can assist people living here on the national level. My goal was, and remains, to improve the lives of people who have been forgotten for decades by the Democratic Party.” Stacy was running to represent an area of California that includes cities like Compton, Watts, San Pedro, and North Long Beach. These areas have always leaned democratic. They have a long history of voting in democratic in congressional elections (they’re currently represented by Nannette Barragán), and 83% of the population there voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. However, Stacey has been a very vocal conservative republican, so we can’t imagine who would have voted for the Clueless star in California’s 44th district. It’s not exactly her base. Stacey said that she’s choosing to lay down her campaign to focus on her family. Depending on which tabloids you believe, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are either bitter rivals or the best of friends. In all likelihood, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle, but where’s the fun in that? Last week, there were rumors of Kate planning Meghan’s bachelorette party . We’d say it was a nice gesture that probably helped to make Meg feel welcome, but based on today’s news, we’re starting to think it was a Regina George power move. According to Entertainment Tonight , Kate has been advising Meghan on royal fashion protocol, which we’re taking to mean she’s going through her the actress’ closet and tossing anything she deems offensively fug. “Like Kate, expect Meghan to make the occasional nod to her husband’s fashion icon mother,” a royal source tells ET. “Both Kate and Meghan will no doubt honor Princess Diana with designs that reflect her likes and style.” The insider says Kate “has also been advising Meghan about royal fashion, what protocol is expected and how she may have to adapt in the future,” adding: “She has provided Meghan with names of some of the favorite U.K. go-to designers on everything from dresses, coats and the all-important British hat,” Ah, the Brits love their hats, do they not? It’s like a hundred years ago, one of them went to the Kentucky Derby and said, “This. But at every formal occasion.” Fortunately for Meg, the British fixation with fancy chapeaux might help her to avoid a potential crisis of decorum. We’re talking, of course, about the uproar over Meghan’s messy buns. We’ll give you a moment to compose yourself. Clearly, she should’ve stayed in America, where Kim Kardashian broke the internet by spilling champagne all over her ass. Elsewhere in the pre-royal wedding gossip landscape, Us Weekly is claiming that Meghan’s shady siblings are starting to be a royal pain in the messy buns, and no one knows what to do about it: “Meghan is really worried about some of these members of her family,” one insider tells the tabloid. “She hasn’t spoken to them in years. She’s lost sleep over relatives who’ve screwed her over. It’s the one thing she’s struggled with most since meeting Harry, especially after the engagement.” Clearly, the only solution here is to round up Meghan’s relatives and have them made into hats. Lifetime is coming out with Meghan & Harry: A Royal Romance . That's right, folks. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's romance, portrayed on screen for your viewing consumption. They've released a short teaser trailer (which you can see below) and, despite its brevity, there is so much in it. And it looks surprisingly steamy . Our first big takeaway from the trailer is that the actress whom they selected to portray Meghan Markle has a surprising likeness to her. Parisa Fitz-Henley is a stunningly beautiful actress, and she could almost be MegMar's sister. The real Meghan seems to be plagued with opportunistic siblings who are more interested in making trouble for her by speaking to the media than they are in celebrating her happiness. While Murray Fraser, the actor portraying Prince Harry, is a handsome ginger man, he doesn't seem to almost trick viewers at certain angles in the same way that Fitz-Henley does. Looking at her in this trailer, you might swear that she's the real deal. (Part of that, admittedly, is the wig) Our second big takeaway from this trailer is that … it looks like it's very much a Lifetime film. Not to be mean, but a lot of what we see in the trailer looks less like the setting of a royal romance and more like … what people would like to imagine is the most romantic. So … the sorts of dates that you'd see on The Bachelor . That's a product of a few factors. One, this royal couple has always been fairly private about their romance. As private as you can be when the whole world is watching, anyway. A lot of their real-life dates have taken place behind closed doors. Producers had to make do with guesswork. Two, they're trying to tell a romantic story and cash in on fans of the real thing as well as on hate-watchers or those who will tune in ironically. Three, this is a Lifetime movie, and they're not going to break the bank on this, folks. Before you ask, no, Murray Fraser is not the actor who impersonated Prince Harry on I Can Marry “Harry” … which continues to be one of the most controversial reality shows of all time. That actor was Matthew Hicks, who had previously worked as a Prince Harry impersonator, which is one of the most niche jobs that one can possibly imagine. Murray Fraser is a real actor — in fact, he and Parisa had such a good time on the set of Meghan & Harry: A Royal Romance that they've been posting on social media about wanting to work on another project together. Not all actors who play love interests get along so well. In fact, a lot of actors find it awkward to interact with those with whom they've filmed bedroom scenes. We never thought that we'd say this, but Lifetime is really pushing the envelope, here. Bedroom scenes — including, as you'll see in the teaser, naked bedroom scenes — aren't unheard of, obviously. But portraying a royal couple in the nude and in bed together is going to ruffle some feathers. Not only is the British Royal Family an important symbol for the United Kingdom (well, at least, for the British), but they're treated reverently in certain ways beyond how one might treat a politician or mascot. Remember, there are still monarchists in this world (really) who believe that the European royal lines were divinely ordained. Not everyone is going to take kindly to seeing a royal couple portrayed like this: That said, some people don't like the real couple. Remember, Meghan Markle was targeted by a racist hate crime . A website linked to the terrorist group Daesh claims to have Meghan Markle's nudes and sexts and has threatened to release more unless the UK withdraws its troops from the Middle East. Which … is not going to happen for a lot of reasons. Mostly because Parliament does not actually set policy based upon the electronic activity of a future duchess. Who knew? (It's also not going to happen because the claims that they have video of her pleasuring herself with a pig's foot sounds … super fake, for various reasons) This May, you can tune in to Lifetime to watch someone's fanfiction of MegMar living out the dreams of a lot of girls who grew up in the '90s. Also this may, you can actually watch Meghan Markle and Prince Harry get married . That's on the 19th.
Katt Williams Settles Lawsuit Out Of Court the actress who claimed he assaulted her has decided to settle matters outside of court for more than $10,000. The victim, Jamila Majesty, claimed that she visited Katt’s’ Malibu crib in 2016. After arriving at the residence, there were several other women in attendance. The actress says she used Williams personal bathroom, which resulted in the him getting belligerent and yelling, “no one uses my bathroom.” Allegedly, Williams and the women in his home then began to beat Majesty until she lost conciseness. During the beating which allegedly lasted for 3 hours, the victim claims that Katt burned her with a cigarette. Also she claims that during the beating one woman was “reading a book about witchcraft and casting spells while throwing questionable items into a nearby fire”. Majesty escaped the mansion and drove home without calling the police in total fear that Williams would retaliate. She filed a lawsuit for assault, battery, emotional distress and false imprisonment after a few months. Continue reading →
Vanessa Marcil has announced a tragic piece of news: The veteran actress has suffered yet another miscarriage. The former Las Vegas and Beverly Hills, 90210 star confirmed this sad development on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself and her fiancee (who she refers to as “MC”) kissing on the beach. Reads a statement below this sweet image: “Our hearts are with Vanessa and MC who have lost baby OPM. “Thank you for respecting their privacy as they heal and thank you for sharing all of your personal stories. “You are not alone.” She certainly is not. The numbers vary every year, but approximately 15-20 percent of all pregnancies in the U.S. end in a miscarriage. As you can see down below, this awful situation has also afflicted many famous celebrities. Back in November, Marcil shared with her social media followers that she was pregnant, but also noted that caution was needed. She wanted her fans to celebrate along with her, yet also knew everyone had to be wary, “After six miscarriages we are saying prayers for OPM,” Marcil wrote at the time. Earlier this month, meanwhile, the actress confirmed on her Instagram page that she was expecting a daughter, posting a photo of her puppy Rocky snuggling close to her owner’s baby bump. “The GIRLS,” she captioned the moment. Marcil does share a 15-year old son named Kassius Lijah with ex-boyfriend and co-star Brian Austin Green The actress and her fiance, whose identity she chooses to keep secret, got engaged in April of 2015. She was previously married to Corey Feldman from 1989 to 1993; and also to actor Carmine Giovinazzo from 2010 to 2013. “V has had a miscarriage. Our second one this year,” Giovinazzo wrote under Marcil’s Twitter account in December 2011, adding: “Thanx for the love and prayers.” This has tragically been an issue that has plagued Marcil for many years. Along with the aforementioned television shows, soap opera fans likely recognize the actress from her lengthy run as Brenda on General Hospital.
