Charles Ramsey, a Cleveland dishwasher who happened to be in the right place at the right time to help rescue Amanda Berry , has become a viral video star. In a WEWS-TV interview candidly and colorfully recounting how he found three missing women and freed them from captivity, Ramsey’s own words say it all: Charles Ramsey Interview Some of his best quotes: “I was sitting there, eating my McDonald’s. I heard screaming. I went outside and saw this girl going nuts trying to get out of her house.” “Bro, I knew something was wrong when a pretty little white girl ran into a black man’s arms. Something is wrong here.” “You’ve got some big testicles to pull this kind of thing off, bro, because we see this dude every day. I mean every day.” “There’s nothing exciting about him. Well, until today.” Soon after Ramsey helped Amanda Berry escape, police arrested three Cleveland kidnapping suspects , all brothers, in the high-profile abductions. The women vanished from 2002-2004 in separate incidents, but were all found alive Monday in a stunning story that has gained national attention. Ramsey, while just a side plot in the saga, nevertheless has been the talk of the web. He even inspired a number of Tweets from celebs in recent days: Actress Valerie Bertinelli: “I think I’m in love, Charles Ramsey. #Cleveland #Hero.” Comedian and actor Patton Oswalt: “Dear Charles Ramsey: I am not a little pretty white girl, but I totally want to run into your black arms. #hero.” McDonald’s: “Way to go Charles Ramsey – we’ll be in touch.”

‘The Bling Ring’ − The Top 5 Lines Of Dialogue That Could Make It The Most Quoted Movie Of The Summer

A new trailer for Sofia Coppola ‘s pulled-from-the-headlines film, The Bling Ring , is out, and there’s a lot to pick over.  For one thing, Emma Watson is riveting as Nicki, one of the spoiled, cynical and morally adrift Los Angeles teens who made news robbing celebrities’ homes. As J.J. Hunsecker from Sweet Smell of Success would say, she’s a cookie full of arsenic . Watson gets some of the best lines in the trailer, which is studded with surprisingly good dialogue. If Coppola’s script is as consistent as the scenes featured below, The Bling Ring  could end up rivaling Seth Rogen & Co’s   This Is The End as one of the most quoted movies of the summer. ‘I Wanna Rob’ Here, in ascending order,  the best lines from the trailer: 5) Cop:  I’ve spoken to all of  the victims.  Rebecca (Katie Chang):  Really? What did Lindsay say? 4) Nicki: “C’mon, let’s go to Paris’s. Now here’s a proper celebration of Roger Ebert’s life. Tilda Swinton , dressed like David Bowie and channeling Ellen DeGeneres rouses 1,500 people at Ebertfest in Champaign, IL to shake their money makers to Barry White’s “My First, My Last, My Everything” at the Virginia Theater on April 20.  (That’s Ebert’s widow Chaz introducing the actress.) The film festival, which is organized by the College of Media at the University of Illinois where Ebert was an alumnus paid tribute to its namesake, who succumbed to cancer on April 4. Michael Bay Apologizes for Armageddon!

Quick! Name a silly “popcorn” blockbuster action movie! Did you all say  Armageddon ? I bet you did. Well, Michael Bay agrees with you. The director stated in an interview published yesterday, “I will apologize for  Armageddon .” Whoa! So why exactly does Michael Bay apologize for  Armageddon ? “I would redo the entire third act if I could,” he said. “But the studio literally took the movie away from us. It was terrible. My visual effects supervisor had a nervous breakdown, so I had to be in charge of that.” The film’s production schedule was incredibly rushed, so that the studio could release it in competition with the similarly-themed  Deep Impact . “We had to do the whole movie in 16 weeks. It was a massive undertaking. That was not fair to the movie.”

Jim Toth: Feeling Awful About Arrest, Headed to Rehab?

On early Friday morning, Reese Witherspoon was arrested for disorderly conduct after husband Jim Toth was stopped for drunk driving and she disobeyed officer directives to remain in her car. Soon afterward, the actress apologized , making it clear she was both remorseful and embarrassed over the incident. And a source now says Toth feels the same way. The CAA agent “feels awful that he involved Reese in the situation ,” an insider tells People . “He made a bad decision and it certainly made things worse that he dragged her into it. A second insider says the situation is “embarrassing” for Toth,” who will need to explain himself to his bosses at the country’s largest talent agency. The couple was pulled over after their Ford Fusion – with Toth behind the wheel – was spotted swerving between lanes. Toth then blew a .139 on his sobriety test, far above the legal limit in Georgia of .08. Does he have a drinking problem? “Jim has always been a big social drinker,” says one of these sources. “A lot of his job is being social. He’s out to lunch or dinner almost every day of the week, schmoozing clients and taking business meetings.” A third mole, meanwhile, says it’s conceivable Toth ends up in “rehab.” The couple is due in court on May 22.

WTF?! Ladies, can you dig it? Bradley Cooper Wears Curly Hairdo In New Film “American Hustle” Via Huffington Post The highly anticipated movie David O. Russell is making with Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, Louis C.K. and Robert De Niro has an official title: “American Hustle.” The film was originally called “American Bullshit” before switching to the more socially acceptable nomenclature “Untitled David O. Russell Project.” “American Hustle” is based on the ABSCAM sting operation that took place on Long Island during the late 1970s and early 1980s. From the official press release announcing the film last year: The Untitled David O. Russell Project is based on the true story of a notorious financial con artist (Bale) and his mistress/partner in crime (Adams), who were forced to work with an out of control federal agent (Cooper) to turn the tables on other con artists, mobsters, and politicians. At the epicenter of the entire tale, is the passionate and volatile leader of the New Jersey state assembly (Renner) who is also the local hero and mayor of impoverished Camden. Russell last directed Cooper and Lawrence in “Silver Lining Playbook,” which earned Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Director (Russell), Best Adapted Screenplay (also Russell), Best Actor (Cooper) and Best Supporting Actor (De Niro) among others. Lawrence won Best Actress for her role in that film, but she plays a smaller part in “American Hustle.” Russell frequently works with the same actors: he also made “The Fighter” with Bale and Adams. “American Hustle” is filming in Massachusetts, but it wasn’t affected by the tragic bombing at the Boston Marathon on April 15. The production was shooting in Worcester, Mass. on Monday, which the Hollywood Reporter notes is 46 miles away from Boston. Lauryn Hill Claims She Didn’t Pay Taxes Because She "Withdrew From Society"

Lauryn Hill claims the reason she stiffed the United States on massive tax bills for years is essentially the same reason she fell off the map after the ’90s. Fear. Lauryn filed legal document asking for mercy before her sentencing later this month, claiming there was a reason she failed to file tax returns from 2005-07. Hill has already pleaded guilty and faces several years in prison. Her hilarious excuse for not reporting $1.8M in earnings? She stopped paying “when she withdrew from society at large due to what she perceived as manipulation and very real threats to herself and her family.” She’s not specific about the threats, but it’s a new explanation for her abrupt disappearance from the music scene after her rise to fame, if nothing else. Lauryn’s asking the court to consider other factors and to give her probation instead, citing that she can pay off the debt much faster if she’s not in jail. A judge will rule April 22.
