Ashton Kutcher cheated on Demi Moore with a 22-year old in San Diego named Sara Leal. Case closed, right? This explains why the actress filed for divorce from her husband of six years last week. Not exactly, friends say. In the latest issue of People , an insider says Kutcher and Moore’s marriage “[had] been deteriorating for a long time. Ashton was ready to end it, [but] he wanted to wait for Demi to actually do it. He loved her but couldn’t live with her. Among the issues that reportedly plagued the couple? Their age difference, his promiscuity and her insecurities. One friend of the actor’s goes as far as to say “they were fed up with each other,” adding: “If anyone was uncomfortable with the age difference, it was Demi, not Ashton. Carrie Fisher Reveals Weight Loss Secret …

Jenny Craig gets plenty of credit for Carrie Fisher’s weight loss – over 50 pounds in the past year – but without the psychiatric hospital Silver Hill in New Canaan, Conn., the actress says she never would have gotten her life back together. “They really did heal me. It’s the alma mater that matters,” she said . At Thursday’s Silver Hill Hospital gala in N.Y.C., she extolled the virtues of the 80-year-old facility, where she was treated for alcohol addiction and bipolar disorder. Fisher said that during her stay “there was a president at Silver Hill, I’m not kidding. He had really bad breath. I told people not to get down wind of the president.” She did not name said president, but did share some reflections on topping out at 180 pounds a year ago, and how much different she feels since that high mark. Of what how she looked and felt a year ago, she said, “You have that last gigantic meal, look in the mirror. None of your clothes fit, and … forget it.” “I have a lot of trouble [keeping the weight off],” admitted Fisher, who still hopes to lose 10 more. “I really have to be held down when I pass a 31 flavors.” She also exercises. A lot. “You do the treadmill first, which is this horrendous, evil thing,” she said. “And then you get on the elliptical for 30 to 52 minutes.”

Demi Moore Described as Skinny, But Happy

Demi Moore is looking REAL skinny these days, but she’s also looking happier than you might think, according to people who saw her at a recent shindig. Maybe reports of her marital struggles have been exaggerated. Maybe Mariah Yeater has replaced Sara Leal as celebrity gold-digging skank du jour. Whatever the reason, Moore was all smiles at Friday’s A-list-packed Lanvin (Hearts) LA fashion show and dinner at Casa Carondelet in Los Angeles. Supposedly reeeling after husband Ashton Kutcher’s alleged affair with 22-year-old Sara Leal , the actress, 48, “looked skinny but happy” at the intimate event. The Margin Call actress was “very chatty” with fellow celebs at the party, adds the witness : “Demi came across the runway to kiss and say hi to Katie Holmes.” Later in the evening, Zoe Saldana made a similar trip across the runway to kiss and greet Moore, who also chatted with Lanvin’s designer, Alber Elbaz. “The whole vibe was super friendly and relaxed,” adds the witness. Moore wore “nerdy glasses, but [she] looked amazing. She stayed for the whole dinner.” Close pals say Moore – who is also accused of cheating – has had good days and bad days in her marriage lately, but all has been relatively quiet of late. Ridiculously, obscenely short four-hour jail sentences notwithstanding, Lindsay Lohan ‘s legal woes have cost more than just her professional respectability and reputation; one expert guesstimates that the actress’s 20+ court appearances have wasted “millions” for the people of California. “It has likely cost taxpayers millions of dollars,” attorney Vikki Ziegler told Fox News. “It costs tens of thousands of dollars per court appearance for all the clerks, the security, and those court reporters who get paid by the page,” adds former federal prosecutor Michael Wildes. “Plus it diverts the administration of justice for other matters.” Truth .
