The “Crazy in Love” singer and new mom wrote a touching message on her website about Jackson on Monday, Michael Jackson’s death anniversary . Beyonce, 30, said her first producer had her listen MJ’s “Who’s Loving You” on repeat. “What he wanted me to learn was his soul,” the star recalls. “You could hear his soul. It’s something that’s God given.” “For whatever reason he could evoke more emotion than an adult,” she went on. “It was these little things he did that were pure swag.” And the mother of Blue Ivy Carter and wife of rapper Jay-Z credits the King of Pop for teaching her that “sometimes you have to forget technique.” “Michael Jackson changed me forever, and helped me to become the artist I am,” Beyonce writes, adding simply “Thank you Michael.” Jackson died on June 25, 2009 from an overdose of the anesthetic propofol, given to him by Dr. Conrad Murray . Maxwell Drew Johnson, whom she and fiance Eric Johnson, 32, welcomed into the world on May 1, sure is a cutie in her social media debut. Check out Jess’ baby girl, eight weeks old: “Howdy friends,” Simpson, 31, wrote in the caption along with the pic of her adorable little daughter, dressed in a red and white striped onesie. “I absolutely love my family,” the first-time mom gushed. “Maxwell amazes Eric and I every day with every little thing she does!” When she’s not tending to Maxi, she’s got other things on her mind – namely shedding the pounds as part of her $4 million Weight Watchers deal . “The cool thing about the program is that it focuses on healthy habits for the long-term,” says Jess. “I can still indulge my guilty pleasures every now and then, too. If Catherine Hardwicke had her way, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart might never have gotten together. For real! While it’s nearly impossible now to imagine R. Patt without his K. Stew – just watch this adorable video of Robsten cuddling and kissing ! – the Twilight director tells Elle Magazine that she noticed chemistry right away between the potential co-stars… and feared its consequences. “Rob and Kristen sat down at the table and did the biology scene,” Hardwicke said of Pattinson’s audition. “I felt the sparks. I could see the attraction. Kristen was very vocal – she knew she had the strongest connection with Rob. I said, ‘Let me have a day to see if it translates to the screen.'” We all know it did, of course. But Robert was 21 at the time and Kristen only 17, which led Hardwicke to warn her handsome leading man: ‘She’s underage, don’t even think about it! It’s a law in our country.'” Fortunately, Pattinson and Stewart evaded the police until the latter turned 18 and have been happily dating ever since.
