Fantasia Gives Birth To Son

‘I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy,’ says singer, who gave birth Tuesday in North Carolina. By Jocelyn Vena Fantasia Photo: Courtesy of J Records Fantasia Barrino gave birth to a baby boy, Dallas Xavier Barrino, Tuesday in North Carolina. In a statement to People , the season-three “American Idol” winner said, “I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family. I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support.” In an interview with Wendy Williams back in October, the singer revealed that she was expecting a son by the end of December. Fantasia, 27, has remained quiet about who the father of Dallas is, but she has been linked to on-again, off-again boyfriend Antwaun Cook since 2010. This is the second child for the singer, who has a 10-year-old daughter, Zion, from a previous relationship. In August, Fantasia announced she was pregnant during a show in Florida. “You are the first persons that I share this news with. And I share this with you because I can relate to you,” she told the Jacksonville crowd. “And for a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me. But now I tell you, I don’t live my life for folk. This child that I carry, God has given me this child. And I don’t have to hide it from none of y’all.” Life for Barrino has been on the mend since the summer of 2010, when she made headlines for suffering a drug overdose after ingesting a combination of aspirin and a sleep aid. Rumors abounded that the singer’s alleged relationship with Cook, who was married at the time, was a factor in her suicide attempt. She quickly recovered, however, to promote her album Bittersweet . In her 2010 “Behind the Music” special, Barrino addressed her ups and downs, concluding, “I know that I am beautiful and special. I am who I am — and that’s what makes me Fantasia.” Share your well-wishes for Fantasia in the comments below! Related Photos Fantasia’s Career In Photos Related Artists Fantasia

What to Expect When You’re Expecting Trailer: What Did You Expect?

Just when you thought that a movie could not accommodate more stars and subplots than tomorrow’s Garry Marshall-directed New Year’s Eve , Lionsgate has unveiled the trailer for What to Expect When You’re Expecting . The film, an adaptation of the popular ’80s pregnancy guide, packs Jennifer Lopez, Elizabeth Banks, Cameron Diaz, Matthew Morrison, Anna Kendrick, Chris Rock, Thomas Lennon, Dennis Quaid, Wendi McLendon-Covey, the hot Brazilian from Love Actually and more actors into a sprawling tale of hormonal outbursts, catty jealousy, dads unafraid to wear Baby Björns and infants. REVIEW: Theron, Reitman and Cody Combine For Stark, Sublime Young Adult

I don’t pretend to be a feminist or even understand feminism beyond accepting the fundamental concept of gender equality. That has always seemed straightforward enough, despite the vagaries and complications evident in myriad cultural examples from Michele Bachmann to Margaret Cho to Diablo Cody, the stripper-turned-scribe whose three produced screenplays to date — Juno , Jennifer’s Body and this week’s Young Adult — make up some of contemporary cinema’s rangier ruminations on feminism. Or at least what I think is feminism.

Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie Red Band Trailer: Sick Show, Great Job!

Every once in a while it’s nice to see a “red band trailer” that could possibly disturb somebody. Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie does just that, as well as build nicely upon Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim’s Adult Swim series Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! , which ran for five seasons. In the trailer for the new movie, which will premiere at Sundance , we watch as Tim and Eric don fetching khakis, sever a finger, astound Zach Galifiankis, reveal a staggering sex toy and “honor their love” for each other. Disgusting and undeniably funny.

Watch Charlize Theron Become Enraged in Young Adult Red Band Spot

Charlize Theron said recently that she took a four-year break from acting to work with her production company, so it’s interesting to consider what about Young Adult (besides the Oscar-friendly duo of Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody) would drag her back into the craft. Here’s an idea: She gets to be profane, uncompromising, and really, really pissed off. In this red-band spot for the new film (out December 9), Theron loses her shit with Elizabeth Reaser, who plays her ex-beau’s (Patrick Wilson) new wife. Yikes.

Salma Hayek Lays Gold Eggs of the Day

I don’t think this is actually Salma Hayek laying golden eggs, from what I’d imagine, she’s likely menopausal….and well past her child bearing years…..so maybe this is just her shitting gold…you know because compared to the shanty town, donkey shit made huts her friends she grew up with in Mexico and how they are living, she pretty much does shit gold….so why not share that talent with the fucking world…..It is thanksgiving after all…

Michalka Sisters Improving Themselves for Work of the Day

I like how these sisters understand how superficial hollywood is…especially at their level of “no” talent… I like how they reinvest into themselves, hoping it benefits their career. One has Adult Braces, which for many dudes is a creepy fetish I don’t entirely understand, because I have horrible memories of seeing food caught in braces, but know it is the kind of shit that can get her work in porn….cuz people are weird….. The other one has implants….. It’s just a matter of time before sex tapes….starring both of them…..cuz sister fetishes always win… A fanning sister was also there … unrelated….but still young hollywood vagina for you to fantasize about…
