Lady Gaga Meat Dress: The Low-Cut Return!

Lady Gaga shocked us with her now-infamous meat dress at the 2010 MTV Music Awards. Monday, she debuted a new spin of the carnivorous couture. Performing inside a meat locker-fashioned set (obviously), the 2012 version is markedly different from Lady Gaga’s meat dress as we originally knew it. With a tighter fit, plunging neckline and skirt-like bottom, it’s more compact than the original, which was probably necessary for a live performance. Which meat dress do you prefer, the new version or the first, now enshrined in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame? Check out the Lady Gaga pics below and vote:

Manny Pacquiao on Obama Gay Marriage Stance: An Immoral Abomination

Boxing champion Manny Pacquiao is pointedly criticizing President Barack Obama’s recent endorsement of gay marriage , calling it offensive to his religion. In an interview, the religious Pacquiao said that Obama’s view was nothing more than a direct attack on the morals of society and the will of God. “God only expects man and woman to be together and to be legally married, only if they so are in love with each other,” Manny Pacquiao said . “It should not be of the same sex so as to adulterate the altar of matrimony, like in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah of old,” he added, citing the Bible. He described same-sex marriage as an “abomination” and went on to say that America should be the model of morality for other countries to emulate. Recently voted Forbes ‘ fourth most influential athlete, the World Boxing Organization welterweight champion is regarded by many as the best pound-for-pound boxer on the planet, and already has a burgeoning career out of the ring. He is a member of the Philippines legislature, hosts a weekly TV game show and has his own vegetable business. Manny Pacquiao also hopes to become a leading Christian evangelist after having a religious “awakening.” Last week, Obama became the first U.S. president to publicly back gay marriage. Many politicians, pundits and stars have weighed in – Jay-Z praised Obama Monday, while Bristol Palin ripped him last week – but members of the sporting community have been largely silent until Pacquiao’s condemnation. Your take: Same-sex marriage … [Photos: WENN.com]

GALLERY: Guess Who Out-Weirded Johnny Depp and Co. at the Dark Shadows Premiere?

Between Johnny Depp , Tim Burton , and the reliably bizarro fashion statements of Helena Bonham Carter , the Dark Shadows premiere promised a veritable feast of eccentricities. But guess what? The best and weirdest photo ops from last night’s to-do came not from the aforementioned mavens of macabre (granted, HBC was M.I.A.), but from the bizarre antics of an unlikely duo whose red carpet shenanigans made Burton and his cast of lovable weirdos look downright… mundane. Unexpected smooches, yoga poses, the good ol’ bunny ears photo bomb — if it was slightly awkward or distracting, premiere guests Cloris Leachman and Steven Tyler were involved. Who knew they’d make such an electrifying couple? To quote the film’s tagline, “Strange is relative.” Indeed . But don’t take my word for it. Browse Movieline’s gallery from the Dark Shadows premiere to see Depp, Burton, co-stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green, Jackie Earle Haley, Bella Heathcote, Chloe Moretz, and composer Danny Elfman smile for the photogs as Hurricane ClorVen (Stevris? Leachler?) steals the spotlight. Even Alice Cooper didn’t seem to know what to make of it, and that’s saying something. Click for images from the Dark Shadows premiere.

Vanessa Williams vs. Toddlers & Tiaras: Choose a Side!

It is on between Vanessa Williams and one of the moms involved with Toddlers & Tiaras . During an appearance this week with Anderson Cooper on his talk show, the actress said of the aforementioned series: “When the child is screaming and saying, ‘I don’t want to do this. I don’t feel like doing it.’ When they are using special juice to get them hyped… that’s not my world and I would never have my kids do that.” Cue a reaction from Wendy Dickey, the mother of Paisley, a controversial member of the Toddlers & Tiaras cast who has dressed like a hooker and like a biker girl for segments on the show. “Posing nude and having an abortion is ‘not my world’ and I would never have my kids do that,” Wendy said, referring to Vanessa’s Playboy past and her recent admission that she aborted a fetus in high school. “So easy on the judging Vanessa!” The claws are out and it’s getting personal on both sides. Which are you on?

Jamaa Fanaka, Director of the Penitentiary Series, Dies at Age 69

He was a leading member of the L.A. Rebellion movement that brought African-American filmmakers together in solidarity, and, more importantly to our purposes, he made a movie about a man who gets his revenge on a corrupt justice system using his eight-foot dong ( Welcome Home Brother Charles , 1975). Jamaa Fanaka ‘s stock in trade was the grindhouse and the drive-in, but his movies, including Emma Mae (aka Black Sister’s Revenge ) (1976), the aforementioned Welcome Home Brother Charles , and the Penitentiary films ( Penitentiary , 1979, Penitentiary 2 , 1982, and Penitentiary 3 , 1987) all embody a defiant spirit that wouldn’t be out of place at a Black Panther Party meeting and inspired intense excitement and passionate fandom in the inner-city kids who saw his movies ( Snoop Dogg is a particularly vocal Fanaka fan ). Fanaka, who was born in Mississippi and grew up in Los Angeles, had a natural aptitude for movies and wrote, directed and got distribution for his first three feature films while still enrolled in UCLA’s film school. Penitentiary was the highest-grossing independent film of 1980, but Fanaka’s career unfortunately slowed down with his worsening health throughout the ’90s and early 2000s. He passed away this week at the age of 69. Fight the power with the Blaxploitation sensations of Jamaa Fanaka right here at MrSkin.com

American Idol Results: Who Got the Chop?

American Idol pared its field down to nine singers this week. Following their performances Wednesday night, DeAndre Brackensick and Heejun Han seemed destined for the bottom three on tonight’s results show. Did they land there? And who else ended up on the block? The dreaded bottom three did indeed come down to the aforementioned two gentlemen, as many predicted, along with Erika Van Pelt, with the judges indicating right off the bat that they would not be saving any of the above. Rough! When the results were read, the fewest number of votes went to… Erika Van Pelt! Yes, America actually preferred DeAndre Brackensick and Heejun Han. The viewers of this show really don’t like female singers, huh? She had been a staple in the bottom three, but after a total makeover and a strong performance this week, many felt she would be in the clear. Erika just didn’t connect with enough voters to stay on Idol , though, leaving DeAndre and Heejun to fight another week … possibly the last for one of them. Check back Friday for continued coverage of the show, including fallout from this week’s elimination and video of Lana Del Rey’s performance? What did you think of the results? Did Erika deserve to go?
