Gloria James, mother of NBA superstar LeBron James, was arrested for assault last week after an altercation with a valet parking guy, Rockefeller Sorel. The police who busted her weren’t treated much better, according to the surveillance tape, obtained by WPLG in Miami, where the arrest went down. Video shows Gloria James held in a holding room at the Miami Beach police HQ. LeBron’s mom yells at cops, who at one point had to wipe her face. She also tried to break free of her handcuffs. Just days after Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart supposedly split, the actor led the cast of Twilight in a 21st birthday celebration for his girlfriend on Saturday night. Sources tell Us Weekly a private party was held at Rockwell’s Bar & Grill in Vancouver, as “Rob led the crowd singing” for Kristen, the insider says, adding: “You could tell she was so embarrassed but in a cute way.” Stewart received a motorcycle as a gift and an onlooker makes it clear she and Pattinson are as hot and as heavy as ever: “Rob and Kristin were together all night. They held hands and he kissed her cheek a bunch of times.” Breaking Dawn will be finished filming within a few weeks. But expect to see these two together a lot over the next few months, as they promote the film’s November release.
A week ago, Kirstie Alley fell to the floor, only to make a full recovery on Dancing With the Stars. Unfortunately, she suffered another mishap last night. This time, it was a footwear malfunction. Kirstie and Maksim Chmerkovskiy had to fight through more adversity as Alley’s left shoe fell off in mid-waltz. Just like the previous week, they recovered well enough to earn a respectable score – 22 out of 30 – plus sympathy and respect from fans and judges. Kirstie Alley Loses Shoe on Dancing With the Stars “You didn’t miss a beat,” said Carrie Ann Inaba. Bruno Tonioli agreed, while Len Goodman was less impressed, pointing out the need for improvement. Still, we’d be surprised if Kirstie and Maks were in jeopardy after a second straight week of bouncing back strongly from a somewhat freakish setback. Another gal who should be safe? Disney starlet Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas, whose Viennese waltz earned them the top score of the night at 26. Horror remakes are like pubes: there are so many variations on the basic idea that no matter what your taste, there’s bound to be something you like. Some are faithful to the point of obsession, like Gus Van Sant ‘s 1998 remake of Psycho , which recreates the Alfred Hitchcock classic shot for shot. Some take certain liberties with the story, like 2009’s My Bloody Valentine 3D , which takes the nudity-free original and adds a full 90 seconds of full frontal from Betsy Rue . Now that Showtime ‘s finished off their Shameless season, Starz has stepped in to fill the voluptuous void left by Emmy Rossum with the new Holy Grail of TV nudity, Camelot. In the second episode, French tent-pitcher supreme Eva Green made an alliance with the dark side in order to regain the throne of Camelot, an activity that is of course best done in the nude. We also saw the lovely vision of Tamsin Egerton come to braless life as she threatened her future husband Arthur with her rock-hard nipples- oh,and a knife. Last night was the official beginning of the season, and if this nude streak continues, Camelot will make you spank a lot for weeks to come. Also last night, Kate Winslet showed more shadowy boob in the sack with Guy Pierce in part 3 of Mildred Pierce . However, Evan Rachel Wood and her wooly wookie wig have yet to make an appearance, prompting another Great Depression here at Skin Central.
