I can’t really remember the last time I did a post on Rosario Dawson , or if people even technically still consider her a “celebrity,” but I’m pretty sure it’s been at least a couple years on both fronts. Considering the solid cleavage she brought to the AFI’s 42nd annual Life Achievement Awards the other night though, I’m willing to make an exception. Now, who do I talk to about getting that thank-you motorboat in return, her agent or her publicist? » view all 24 photos Photos: WENN.com

How shady is THIS beyotch?!? Things around the McNair family have been tense, to say the least, since Steve passed in 2009. According to his wife, Michele, the will that his agent claimed was drawn up has been lost. Thus, all of Steve’s assets were left to her. Those assets included the million dollar mansion he had built for his mother, Lucille, to live in during her twilight years. For whatever reason, Michelle believes that Lucille should have to pay ($3,000/month) to live in the home that her millionaire son built. Peep the video below. Obviously this is just one side of the story, but what the HELL could this woman have done to Michelle to make her take her home away from her and prevent her from seeing her grandchildren??? Just because she doesn’t know how to manage money doesn’t mean she can bully her dead husband’s poor old mother! Image via Discovery
Real talk talk talk talk!!! Laverne Cox tellin’ it like it is is nothing new to us. But seeing her on the cover of a magazine kinda is… Today VIBE Vixen released the first of five covers featuring the beautiful cast of the Netflix-original show “Orange Is The New Black!” VIBE Vixen is profiling each and every cover gal to give an insider’s look at life for TV’s most wanted (and beloved) convicts. First up is Laverne Cox –AKA Sophia Burset—whose age remains a mystery. However, she is an open book when it comes to the truth about bullying, advocating and being transgender in Hollywood. Here are some great excerpts from the interview via VIBE Vixen : What can you tell us about your worst experience with bullying? When I grew up in Alabama, I was called a sissy, a fag and kids basically wanted to beat me up every day. There was a time in middle school when some kids hit my brother and I with drumsticks and a parent from the school saw it. We knew we could never tell our mother because she would blame us and question why we weren’t fighting back, but the principal called her. It was really awful and painful. It looks like the role of Sophia was made for you. I just auditioned! In August of 2012, I was at an event with my agent, who brought it my way. I was actually doing research on Cece McDonald, at the time. She’s a black trans-woman who’s in prison in Minnesota. I was trying to interview her for a show called In the Life, which lost its funding. Now I’m happy because I get to interview her. I think about her a lot during this journey. She was harassed walking down the street by people yelling anti-trans and racial slurs. A fight broke out and one of her tappers ended up dead, and she is in prison for it. I’m interviewing her for a documentary. Do you know if Sophia is based on an actual prison mate? She is! Piper Kerman wrote a book where she mentioned a woman named Vanessa, who was Trans and a black woman. She was a showgirl before prison – she’s definitely a real person. Does it make you hopeful for the future as a trans actress? We knew this was different, because in our industry people only care about size zero white girls and straight white men. But our show’s popularity across the board is crazy. I’ve had all types of people from all walks of life come up to me and love the show, so I truly hope this begins to change the industry. The scenes between you and your TV wife Tanya Wright are some of the best. Tanya is a really good actress and every scene I shot with her is some of my favorite moments that I’ve ever had in acting. Which is your favorite? The scene with my wife, when she’s dressing me. There was something so magical about how it happened and what Crystal was doing. It was so sure, the love that these two women had for each other. And it was an active orgasm for me because for years I’ve trained to be able to do work that has that many layers of complexity, but it’s really simple at the same time. It was a moment where Crystal lost her husband and I had to realize that I probably won’t ever be the same again. What do you look for in a significant other? I look for a guy who’s really smart, highly intelligent and really articulate. But he also has to make me laugh. I was dating this comic — we’re still sort of seeing each other on and off — and he’s really funny, really brilliant and beautiful. It’s a good combination; he’s just a bit shorter than me. Ideally, the guy has to be a really good person. I want his heart to be sweet, and he can’t be a liar. He has to mean what he says and say what he means, and has to have good follow through. We love “Orange is the New Black” and can’t wait for the new season. Do you think that Laverne being on the show has helped people become more accepting of transgender individuals? Apparently Keyara here is a singer and “actress,” but I’m pretty sure that’s about as legit as me calling myself a serious journalist. Anyway, Keyara can call herself whatever she wants as far as I’m concerned as long as she keeps up the ridiculously hot bikini photoshoots like this one. And who knows, after the Tuna Bump, maybe Keyara will be able to land some bigger parts. In fact, I’ve got one she could be perfect for, and shooting starts in my bedroom later this month. Just call my agent. » view all 13 photos Photos: Fameflynet
Well this is scary. US Airways Pilot’s Union recently sent out a memo warning that terrorists are believed to have recently conducted “dry runs” on several recent US flights . Via Fox News reports : Security experts for a major airline’s pilot’s union have warned members that potential terrorists conducted apparent “dry runs” aboard domestic flights in recent weeks, and urged flight crews not to be pressured into taking to the skies if they are fearful. A memo from the U.S. Airline Pilots Association, which represents more than 5,000 pilots who fly for US Airways, cites “several cases recently throughout the (airline) industry of what appear to be probes, or dry runs, to test our procedures and reaction to an in-flight threat.” “Bringing down an airliner continues to be the Gold Standard of terrorism,” states the undated memo, first reported by WTSP-TVin Tampa-St. Petersburg. “If anyone thinks that our enemies have “been there, done that” and are not targeting U.S. commercial aviation — think again.” On a Sept. 2 flight from Reagan National Airport in Washington to Orlando, a “Middle Eastern” man rose from his seat and sprinted toward the cockpit, before veering sharply to go into the forward restroom, according to the memo. While he was in there, several other men moved about the cabin, changing seats and going into overhead bins, it says. US Airways and the Transportation Security Administration confirmed the incident. Four passengers aboard the flight were detained by local law enforcement authorities upon arrival in Orlando due to suspicious behavior during the flight, according to a statement by Michelle Mohr, a spokeswoman for US Airways. The TSA said in a statement the incident was checked out thoroughly. “The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) takes all reports of suspicious activity on board aircraft seriously,” TSA spokesman Ross Feinstein told the station in a statement. “Working collaboratively with local law enforcement, it was determined that the matter required no further investigation at this time. Additionally, due to the critical mission of TSA’s Office of Law Enforcement, TSA does not confirm the presence or identity of Federal Air Marshals.” According to the memo, the pilot of a subsequent, return flight bearing the same flight number, 1880, ordered an inspection of the plane after eight women in burkas showed up at the boarding gate. The memo claims that “evidence of tampering was found,” though it does not elaborate. One expert speculated that the efforts may have been aimed at sizing up security procedures and spotting air marshals aboard flights. Rep. John Mica, R-Fla., has since called for an investigation into the “suspicious” incident. “It is government’s obligation and responsibility to remain vigilant,” Mica said in a statement. “While the specifics of the US Air incident are not public, federal authorities must review the matter.” This is pretty scary stuff. We hope that measures were taken to keep close tabs on the suspicious individuals… and keep them off future flights! Shutterstock
