Ed Sheeran and Athina Andrelos: It’s Over!

Ed Sheeran and Athina Andrelos are over. The couple called things off after a year of dating, the 24-year-old British singer-songwriter has confirmed. Sheeran told an Australian radio station that he is newly single, following speculation he and Athina had split up after the 2015 BRIT Awards last month. “I wasn’t single, I was in a relationship for a long time,” Ed said, but he is on the market now, having parted ways with the 23-year-old Athina recently. What happened? An argument at a BRIT Awards after-party last month was said to be the catalyst, or the final straw. A source told Heat magazine: ” “The final straw was at the after-party. It was a combination of Ed drinking too much and him being unable to deal with a girl that kept bothering them that night.” “The next day, when Athina drove Ed to the airport, they spoke about everything and decided to take a break because it was unfair on both of them. “It wasn’t to do with his fame,” says the alleged insider, “it’s just how he would deal with other people – girls – wanting to talk to him on nights out.” Asked about Athina, who works as a Food Team production assistant at The Jamie Oliver Group, Ed seemed caught off guard, but confirmed the split. Ed had previously dated Ellie Goulding, though their relationship ended badly when she allegedly cheated on him with Niall Horan from One Direction. His hit “Don’t” is believed to be about Ellie, though Sheeran has never gone on record saying that Goulding was the inspiration for the burn of a song. Flight Forced To Land Due To Smelly Restroom Someone on a flight from London to Dubai blew up the airplane bathroom SO BADLY that the pilot had no choice but to turn around and take everyone home. Typically one would think the situation could be remedied with time and a spritz of air freshener…but apparently the stench permeated the plane to the point where continuing on for the rest of the trip simply wasn’t an option. Via VICE.com : A British Airways flight was forced to turn around and land over the weekend because somebody did a s–t so bad the plane was essentially rendered useless. Imagine living your life in the knowledge that you once turded so appallingly that a 747-400 had to turn around and land. Your liquid s–t bought a $533 million airplane juddering out of the sky. Imagine looking your loved ones in the face after that. Imagine hugging your mom. You couldn’t. Your a**hole is essentially a terrorist. Anyway, the BA flight from Heathrow to Dubai on Saturday had to turn around and flop back down again at Heathrow just 30 minutes into the seven-hour flight because somebody did a toilet crime. “The pilot made an announcement requesting senior cabin crew, and we knew something was a bit odd,” one passenger said. “About 10 minutes later he said, ‘You may have noticed there’s a quite pungent smell coming from one of the toilets.’ “He said it was liquid fecal excrement. Those are the words he used.” The flight was rescheduled for the next day, and British Airways made a statement saying, “We’re very sorry for the discomfort to our customers,” before providing everyone on the flight — including the rogue sh–ter, presumably, whoever they may be –with overnight hotel accommodation. The saddest (or most hilarious?) part of it all, is you know that there were at least a handful of passengers that knew EXACTLY who the culprit was. We just want to know why it is they couldn’t have handled this situation at the airport before takeoff??

Last week, Nathan Griffith flirted with Stevie Ryan on Twitter and extensively trash-talked his fiancee, Jenelle Evans, in the process. After the message exchange went public, we assumed that would be it for the troubled couple, but astonishingly, Nathan and Jenelle are still together . Given what we’ve seen of Jenelle’s notorious temper, we find it a bit strange that she and Nathan were able to weather this storm so easily. And it seems we’re not the only ones: In response to tabloid reports that Griffith had publicly apologized to Jenelle, Stevie decided to set the record straight: “Jenelle, deleting his Twitter is not apologizing,” Ryan tweeted to Evans today. It’s a good point, though we’re sure Griffith did his fair share of groveling in private. Friends say it’s not so surprising that Jenelle decided to give Nathan a second chance, as she’s setting the bar pretty low these days: “Nathan never cheated on Jenelle,” one insider tells Radar Online. “He just made her mad, that’s all. Taylor Swift and Katy Perry aren’t down with each other. And it’s not just the classic blondes verses brunettes thing. It goes much MUCH deeper than that. But now cooler heads may be prevailing. It all started with Taylor’s song “Bad Blood,” which was apparently about Katy. Then Perry hit back with the now famous Mean Girls T weet . Since then, it’s just snowballed. However, a source close to Swift says that “Taylor has let it be known that she would love to kiss and make up with Katy, but so far she hasn’t gotten any bites.” Swift seems to be in the mood of forgiveness. She recently shared a high five with Kanye at the Grammys (with Katy in frame,btw)… … and she’s even reportedly ready to step into the studio with him sometime this year. But a feud with a boy you’re not dating and a feud with a girl who’s totally dissing you are two very different things. Kristen Stewart doesn’t exactly have the best reputation in the world. Critics see her as moody. They think she never smiles. Some believe she tore the heart of Robert Pattinson into a million little (handsome) pieces. In a new Q&A with Salon, the young star addresses these criticism head on. Well, most of them anyway. For example: does Stewart really have a “no f-cks attitude,” the interviewer asked? “I’m like, actually, no one gives a f–k like me,” says the 24-year-old. “No one gives more of a f–k than me. It’s just ironic to me. I’m always like, really?” Stewart went on to say she cares the most about her work, not about pretending that she loves her work. “I find myself saying things that I hear other people say where I’m like, OK, you’re lying. But I say the same thing, and I wonder if people think I’m lying when I say, ‘Oh, we were just a big family on set!’ “I hate that stuff. People always ask if I chose the projects I’ve chosen because I’m trying to redefine myself or people’s perception of me. Uh, no. She should have just bought some new weave from China … Louisiana Woman Arrested After Ordering Drugs From China A Destrehan woman was arrested on multiple drug charges after police learned that she was to receive a massive shipment of bath salts from China. Via Fox 8 Live reports: The parcel contained approximately 1,052 grams of the substance with a street value of $90,000, police say. Lojoan Fiffie, 39, was arrested on November 14. Police say that a package from China was intercepted at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. Authorities examined the package and found 1,042 grams of a rock-like substance. Tests showed that the substance tested positive for Methylenedioxypyrovalerone, or MDPV bath salts. Officers say it is often distributed in the form of the designer drug commonly known as “Molly.” Officers estimate the street value of the parcel’s contents at $90,000. Police responded to the address listed on the package, located in the 200 block of Meadows Drive in Destrehan. Lojoan Fiffie allegedly signed for the package before authorities executed a search warrant on her home. In addition to the parcel containing the 1,042 grams of bath salts, police located marijuana, drug paraphernalia, phenobarbital, tramadol and valium. They also found a minor inside the home. Fiffie was arrested on drug charges with the intent to distribute and for having drugs in the presence of a juvenile. She was released on Monday after posting a $5,030 cash bond. Waka Flocka Flame was the latest in a long line of celebrities to get arrested on a weapons charge, after he brought a loaded gun with him to the Atlanta airport. That’ll tend to get you in trouble, we’ve heard. Celebrities Who Have Been Arrested in 2014 1. Waka Flocka Flame Waka Flocka Flame was arrested at the Atlanta airport for packing heat. That’ll do it every time. The rapper got popped inside Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport earlier today when a security scan turned up a loaded handgun in his bag. Waka didn’t have a permit for it. Shocker. The 28-year-old, also familiar to you if you watch Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta online , was promptly arrested and charged with Carrying a Weapon in a Prohibited Place. He was taken to Clayton County jail. No word on why he felt packing a loaded gun , for which he had no permit, through a metal detector in one of the most tightly guarded places in the U.S. was a good call. But hey, at least he didn’t joke about having a bomb (Aldon Smith) or having come from Africa (guy accosted this week on US Airlines flight by HAZ/MAT team). Silver linings.
