Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Regina King have called it quits, apparently. The couple dated for two years, it wasn’t the most amicable of breakups. “He said he wasn’t feeling it anymore,” a source adds, explaining that Warner asked King and her young son (with ex-husband Ian Alexander Jr.) to move out. The SouthLAnd star is “still very brokenhearted” over it, too. Friends sinc both were child TV stars – Warner on The Cosby Show and King on 227 – the twosome, both 42, rarely opened up about their romance. The couple shot down engagement rumors in 2011; King divorced Ian Alexander Sr. after a decade of marriage back in 2007. Warner has never wed.

Us Weekly has brand-new details on what went down between Les Miserables costars Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried the day before the Academy Awards — and caused a panicked Hathaway to ditch her planned Valentino gown in favor of a Prada creation for her Oscar-winning night. An insider close to the situation tells Us Hathaway learned during an Oscar rehearsal at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 22 that Seyfried planned to wear a dress notably similar to hers to the ceremony. After Hathaway asked about her pal’s dress, Seyfried graciously shared an iPhone snap of the Alexander McQueen creation. “Anne was like ‘WTF?!’” the source reports. “She started throwing a fit!” The 30-year-old Best Supporting Actress victor, however, “never told Amanda she had to change the dress.” Still, Seyfried, 27, was ruffled by Hathaway’s tirade. “Amanda didn’t want to deal with it and left” the rehearsal, the source notes. But the drama didn’t end there — spilling into Oscars Sunday, as Hathaway fretted over the switch-up with her glam squad at home. “Anne made the fashion, make up, hair, and jewelry teams wait at her home for hours as she decided what to do about the dress debacle,” a second insider tells Us. The star also “asked for silence so she could rehearse her singing for the Les Mis tribute at the Oscars. It was a painfully long experience.” Hathaway acknowledged the kerfuffle in a surprising statement released by her publicist earlier this week. “It came to my attention late Saturday night that there would be a dress worn to the Oscars that is remarkably similar to the Valentino I had intended to wear, and so I decided it was best for all involved to change my plans,” the “I Dreamed a Dream” singer said. “Though I love the dress I did wear, it was a difficult last-minute decision as I had so looked forward to wearing Valentino in honor of the deep and meaningful relationship I have enjoyed with the house and with Valentino himself. I deeply regret any disappointment caused.” “I kind of can’t understand why Anne didn’t wear the Valentino gown, anyway,” the first source opines. “She was the one winning the award, not Amanda. Jodi Arias left a cheerful voicemail, and sent both a text message and a long email to Travis Alexander on June 4, 2008 … after she had killed him. Prosecutor Juan Martinez showed this to the jury Thursday in ending his cross-examination of Jodi Arias , who is charged with first-degree murder. On the upbeat voicemail Arias left hours after leaving Alexander’s body in his shower, she shot the breeze for a bit, then invited him to see Othello with her. “Let me know. Talk to you soon. Bye!” she concluded. Martinez did his best to drive home the impact of these messages. “Did you send it so he could reach you from the grave?” he asked her sarcastically. Arias claims she killed Alexander self-defense.She cried often during the day’s session, with Martinez meticulously trying to poke holes in her claims. The prosecutor also showed a dramatic flair, once again leaning on the interview Arias gave 48 hours for maximum impact to prove Arias was lying. “No jury is going to convict me because I’m innocent and you can mark my words… no jury is going to convict me,” Arias said during that interview. Jodi Arias Voicemail Several photos of Alexander’s body were shown during Thursday’s proceedings and Arias broke down in tears. Martinez, meanwhile, recited all of her lies. While debate will revolve around the question if Arias’ tears were real or staged, the defendant spent more of the day apparently more rattled than ever. Guiding Arias through Alexander’s last minutes of life, the prosecutor closed the morning session with these powerful questions: “Were you crying when you were shooting him? “Were you crying when you were stabbing him? “When you cut his throat, were you crying ?” She faces the death penalty if convicted.
It’s been an interesting week in the Jodi Arias trial. Nude photos of the murder defendant were displayed for the jury – and the live feed – as was a video in which she said she would welcome the death penalty. If she killed Travis Alexander , that is. “If I am found guilty, I won’t have a life … If I killed Travis, I would beg for the death penalty,” Arias told Esteban Flores, a Mesa, Ariz., police detective, in a 2008 interview. As for the Jodi Arias nude photos? Jurors were shown pigtailed Arias’ breasts, as well as explicit front and rear angles of her genitalia (NSFW, after jump). Photos of a nude Travis Alexander in bed were also shown. It’s unclear exactly why these were entered into evidence. The photos were shown during testimony by Michael Melendez, a police department member who analyzed electronic devices collected during the investigation. The images were broadcast on a live feed of the trial during a court recess; the network that showed the images has yet to offer an explanation for how or why. Arias is accused of killing Alexander, her ex-boyfriend, more than four years ago. She allegedly stabbed him 26 times, slit his throat and shot him. In what is expected to be one of the most watched trials since Casey Anthony ‘s, Arias is accused of murdering ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in cold blood. The now-32-year-old looks more like an aspiring model than a murderer in photos posted on her MySpace page, but prosecutors say she’s anything but innocent. Jodi Arias allegedly shot motivational speaker Travis Alexander in the face and then stabbed him 27 times, slitting his throat from ear to ear in June 2008. Prosecutors want to make her the fourth woman on Arizona’s death row. In other photos from a happier time, Arias and Alexander, who met at a conference in Las Vegas in September 2006, certainly seemed happy. Arias says they fell in love, traveled the country together, and to strengthen her ties to the devout Mormon, she even converted to his religion. During their passionate, long distance relationship between Yreka, Calif., and Mesa, Arizona, they spoke everyday and exchanged 82,000 e-mails. But Alexander’s friends say after dating a few months, he tried to break it off, and she followed the object of her affection to his hometown, even after they split. When Alexander’s roommates found his body they suspected his lover, gave a 911 operator Jodi’s name and said she’d been “bothering” him and slashed his tires. “If he talked about another girl or looked at another girl… she just had this evil smirk. You could just tell she was the type of person that could smile while she slit your throat ,” said close pal Dave Hall. “Pardon the pun there, in light of what’s going on.” “She might be eye candy on the outside. But I just thought, her personality is not very… talkative. Very quiet, she just had a vibe about her that just was really mysterious.” Arias, who has been locked up since her arrest, has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder. Her version of events has changed multiple times. “I didn’t hurt Travis. I would never hurt Travis,” Arias said in a jailhouse interview. “I would be shaking in my boots right now if I had to answer to God for such a heinous crime.” At first, Arias denied being at Alexander’s house that night. Then cops found a camera in the washing machine containing pictures of the two having sex that day. There were also photos of Alexander after he was killed. Faced with that evidence, Arias then told Inside Edition that she was there, but didn’t kill him. “I witnessed Travis being attacked by two other individuals,” she said on Inside Edition. “Who were they? I don’t know. I couldn’t pick them up in a police lineup.” Now, Arias admits that she did kill Alexander, but she claims that it was in self-defense, because she was sexually and physically abused during their relationship. Steven Alexander, Travis’ brother, said that he can see Arias for who she truly is. “It makes me sick because I know her true side,” he told ABC News. “I ask people to please not buy into this sweet innocent personality that she puts on.”
