Source: Steven Ferdman / Getty Actress Sonja Sohn aka Detective Kima Greggs from HBO’s The Wire and more recently Showtime’s The Chi was arrested for cocaine possession, amongst other drugs. She got pinched on Sunday morning (July 21) at around 2am in North Carolina. According to TMZ , Sohn was arrested for cocaine possession, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The booger sugar charge is a felony while the rest are misdemeanors. Details are scarce beyond her arrest at 2 am, and she bailed out 6 minutes later. She posted her $1500 bail and is due back in court for her arraignment on Tuesday (July 23). Life comes at you fast. Sohn left The Chi after its first season.

However, in Trump’s Amerikkka, these soup cookies have been emboldened to let their hate flag fly. According to NOLA , a Gretna police officer in Louisiana, Charlie Rispoli, posted a Facebook comment calling AOC a “vile idiot” who “needs a round, and I don’t mean the kind she used to serve.” A hate crime-y play on words that references the Congresswoman’s bartending past and a bullet. Here’s what police chief Charlie Lawson had to say about his mans: “I will tell you this: This will not go unchecked,” Lawson said. “I’m not going to take this lightly and this will be dealt with on our end. It’s not something we want someone that’s affiliated with our department to make these types of statements. That’s not going to happen.” Lawson said he does not think the comment constitutes an actual threat, but it appears to violate the department’s social media policy, which he said all officers have read and signed. “Whether you agree or disagree with the message of these elected officials and how frustrated you may or may not get, this certainly is not the type of thing that a public servant should be posting,” he said. As of Saturday, July 20, the fourth installment in the Avengers franchise had raked in $2.7892 billion at the global box office, which is just about $500,000 shy of Avatar ‘s $2.7897 billion record. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced the big news during San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, confirming that Endgame would close the $500K gap by Sunday. “Thanks to you, Avengers: Endgame is the biggest film of all-time,” he announced during Marvel’s highly-anticipated Hall H panel. Since the film’s initial release back in April, Endgame has broken multiple records, including the fastest film to hit $100 million at the box office, the highest-grossing opening day in history, and the first film to earn $1 billion in an opening weekend. But in order to assure their status as the number one film of all time, the Avengers movie received a boost when it was re-released in theaters with a little extra footage back in June–which is what eventually set Endgame over the top.
