Source: Lucianna Faraone Coccia / Getty Kevin McCall , the ex of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Eva Marcille, has been charged with domestic violence. In times past, Marcille, who is currently married, has spoken on McCall’s violent behavior. The Blast reports : According to court documents obtained by The Blast, McCall is charged with domestic violence listed as ‘Inflict Corporal Injury to Spouse or Cohabitant’. McCall is facing up to one year in jail. A hearing was scheduled for August but it appears McCall did not appear. The court records reveal a bench warrant was held and the hearing was rescheduled for next month. Back in April, McCall was arrested by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. He was taken into custody and booked on one felony count of injuring a spouse or cohabitant. The records show the alleged incident went down on January 14, 2019. The name of the alleged victim has not been released. He was released from jail after posting $75,000 bond. Marcille and McCall split in 2015. So of course, word is the beloved movie about Harlem drug kingpin Nino Brown, portrayed by Wesley Snipes, is getting a reboot. According to Deadline , Warner Bros. is rebooting New Jack City with Snowfall filmmaker and actor Malcolm M. Mays handling the writing duties. Oh word? Mays is starting to get prolific. Besides credits like Snowfall , Southpaw and Life of a King, he will be directing and producing Flint for Overbrook Entertainment, which stars John Ortiz and T.I., and he’s starring with Anna Kendrick in IFC’s The Day Shall Come. There is no director attached to the New Jack City reboot as of yet. The OG film featured a star-studded cast that included Ice-T, Chris Rock and Judd Nelson, and was directed by Mario Van Peebles. And of course, it inspired what may be the most hilarious episode of Martin , ever.

The hit caused the elderly man to fall and hit his head on the ground, which is when he claims he went unconscious for a brief amount of time. Paramedics along with Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies quickly responded to the scene at the time of the accident and and Ali cooperated with law enforcement, so she was not arrested. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Robert Ise (the man Ali hit) says he suffered a left orbital blowout fracture, a concussion, and lacerations and contusions across his body. Ise claims he still suffers from pain and emotional distress due to Ali’s negligence while driving, and now, he wants her to pay for all past and future medical expenses. According to TMZ , the former Texas Tech star was sitting in his car in front of his home when a pair of men approached him. According to Dallas PD … Emmett was approached by 2 suspects while sitting in his car in front of his house around 2:30 AM on Monday. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and an altercation ensued. Cops say Emmett was gunned down while trying to run away from the suspects … and he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died. Emmett — the 35th pick to the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2004 NBA Draft — was the 2nd leading scorer in the 3-on-3 league this past season while playing for 3’s Company. Said the BIG3 via a press statement “The BIG3 is in a state of shock over the sudden and tragic death of Andre Emmett.
