The pair sparked rumors last month after appearing on each other’s Instagram Live feeds, and Megan herself told her adoring fans that the song would be delayed a week for a rather special reason. The embattled singer is facing two counts of engaging in prostitution with an individual under 18 years old and offering to hire for sexual purposes a person under 18. The events allegedly took place with an underage girl in Minneapolis in July 2001. During a news conference on Monday, State Attorney Mike Freeman said the alleged victim approached Kelly for an autograph and claims that the 52-year-old singer paid her $200 to get naked and engage in sexual acts at his Minneapolis hotel. Kelly’s attorney, Steve Greenberg calls the latest charges “absurd.” Re: New charges @RKelly give me a break. This is beyond absurd — Steve Greenberg (@SGcrimlaw) August 5, 2019 Freeman said that there was no sexual intercourse between Kelly and the underage girl, but there was “sexual contact.” He also admitted that the case will be difficult to prosecute, given that the evidence dates back nearly 20 years. The news follows a month in and out of courts for Kelly. He was charged with 18 counts of sexual misconduct and other charges in Chicago and New York and pled not guilty to five federal criminal charges including kidnapping and racketeering. Buzz Feed is reporting that Clauvino da Silva dressed up as his 19 year old daughter in an effort to free himself from the big house. In what is probably the most brazen but ingenious plan of any prisoner of this generation, Silva went to great lengths to ensure his costume was up to snuff. According to Rio de Janeiro’s state secretary of prison administration he not only donned a wig and glasses but also a silicone mask. Yes silicone. The plot was framed around his daughter’s visit where he intended to switch places with her and walk out of the correctional facility. His plan fell apart though when guards noticed the teen was behaving nervously. He was promptly put in a holding room where authorities questioned him and got him to confess. Silva is reportedly a member of the Red Command; a notorious and powerful crime syndicate in Brazil. He now faces disciplinary sanctions that will be added to his current 73-year sentence for drug trafficking . Video of the get up below. The event was done in association with his Leading By Example Foundation, Amazon Music, Atlanta United, New Era, Puma, Momma Flystyle, and Antwanette McLaughlin of The Spice Group.More than 2,300 kids were given backpacks containing school supplies, uniforms, and sneakers. Free haircuts, health screenings, and other activities were also available to those who attended. On top of that, the rapper also donated $15,000 to the non-profit organization Juma to help them in their efforts to get youths to open up bank accounts and to help educate them in financial literacy. But now, it seems like his recent debut album The Big Day isn’t receiving the same acclaim. Along with lukewarm reviews , Chance also couldn’t make the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 Chart. ANOTHER Christian-leaning rapper did, however. According to Billboard , rapper NF scored his second No. 1 album thanks to his release The Search. The project released on July 26, brought in the equivalent of 130,000 album units in the U.S. in the week ending in August 1. Chance’s The Big Day came in at number two with 108,000 equivalent album units earned. Eighty thousand of those streams were via streaming, making his release the most streamed of the week. The Bid Day is also Chance’s highest charting album yet. So Chance does have some wins this week. But considering the buzz he’s built over the years, it’s still surprising that he did’t take the number one spot. His second place might have been avoided with more promotion and single releases before the album dropped. Chance basically just made a random announcement on Jimmy Fallon and that’s how people knew about the album, although he did make mention of it as early as February . Anywho, Chance is still winning in a lot of ways and maybe the album might gain more steam in the coming weeks…if we can get a single, a music video, anything . We’ll keep you posted.

After two mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio left dozens of people dead , no. 45 addressed the nation, calling the shootings “evil attacks” and crimes “against all humanity.” Trump — yes, TRUMP — said that our country needed to come together to “condemn racism, bigotry, and white supremacy.” Not for a second did any of us think Trump ACTUALLY cared, but his lack of concern was cemented when he sent condolences to the wrong city. “May God bless the memory of those who perished in Toledo, and may God protect them,” he said.
