As if we needed more reason to love Arya Stark! Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams tweeted a photo of herself made-up to look like Lorde last night and the result is an uncanny resemblance! “Good Lorde, I have too much time on my hands,” Maisie tweeted along with the above photo. Seems the 17-year-old actress is as skilled with a pun as her character is with a sword! Of course, this isn’t the first time Maisie has demonstrated an ability to shape-shift. She made our list of Game of Thrones actors who look completely different in real life , and the difference between stylish Maisie and tom boyish Arya Stark must be seen to be believed. Lorde has yet to reply to Maisie’s awesome tweet but we’re sure the mega-popular pop songstress was flattered by the imitation. Lorde, of course, is another huge star who’s not yet old enough to vote, proving that not every young celeb has to engage in Bieber-style drunk drag races in order to capture the public’s attention. Game of Thrones is about to meet The Hunger Games. Gwendoline Christie, the 6’3” actress best known for portraying Brienne of Tarth on the HBO drama, has been cast in Mockingjay – Part 2 as Commander Lyme, taking over in the role for Lily Rabe, who had to drop out due to a scheduling conflict. Lyme is a past Victor and one of the leaders of District 13; she’s a native of District 2. The final two installments of this Jennifer Lawrence -anchored franchise are both shooting simultaneously at the moment in Atlanta. Lionsgate will release Mockingjay – Part 1 on November 21 with Mockingjay – Part 2 a year later. Christie, meanwhile, will be seen this Sunday on the Game of Thrones Season 4 premiere. Marcus Smart returned to Oklahoma State for all the right reasons this season. But he may end up remembered for all the wrong reasons. With his team in a free fall over the past several weeks, Smart shoved a Texas Tech fan in the closing seconds of the Cowboys’ 65-61 loss to the Red Raiders last night in Lubbock. The incident took place after Smart attempted to block Jaye Crockett’s dunk attempt from behind and subsequently stumbled out of bounds behind the basket. Marcus Smart Shoves Texas Tech Fan Words were exchanged between Smart and Jeff Orr (and well-known Texas Tech supporter who travels to all games), with the player pushing the fan backward after a few moments. Smart was pulled away by his teammates, earned a technical foul for his actions and was ejected from the game. An Oklahoma State radio broadcaster claims Orr referred to Smart by the N word. “I didn’t see it yet. I want to make sure I see it and see what happened,” Cowboys’ coach Phil Ford said, refusing to comment further. “I’m still trying to figure it out.” No Oklahoma State players were made available to reporters after the game.
For a scandal in which there are no legal consequences, now or ever, the Dylan Farrow-Woody Allen saga is dominating headlines this month. Farrow, 28, was jointly adopted by Allen, 78, and former partner Mia Farrow, 69. She says Allen molested her in the early ’90s, when she was 7. Allen denied the allegations then, but they resurfaced this winter after Farrow penned open letter to the N.Y. Times recounting her father’s molestation of her . The famed director has reiterated his denials, blaming Mia for coaching Dylan , making up untrue stories and fostering a lingering resentment of him. Dylan immediately countered that Woody Allen is a child molester and he can say whatever he wants, but the truth is on her side and she won’t be silenced. Which seems to be her endgame. Allen wasn’t prosecuted in 1992, though Farrow claims there was probable cause, and he will not be in 2014. The widespread acclaim of Blue Jasmine and his iconic career in general seems to be the impetus for Dylan, who feels her story mustn’t be forgotten. Who to believe? We’ll likely never know for sure, as both sides are adamant and unyielding in their positions in this decades-long blame game.
