On last night’s Teen Mom , Farrah Abraham took her newly-paid-for breasts on a modeling gig in Colorado, making hard-earned money to support Sophia. Meanwhile, Maci Bookout took the plunge and moved in with Kyle King, a relatively nice, stable individual who even has a job. So things are going well, right? WRONG, according to In Touch , which claims Teen Mom RUINED their lives! Anorexia! Addiction! Abuse! Living on popcorn and cigarettes! Oh, the horror! Besides the walking train wreck that is Amber Portwood , it’s hard to see how MTV is ruining their lives. Seems to us like they were in tight spots already. If anything, aren’t they getting paid, and thus supporting their kids? Maybe it sends the wrong message to viewers, but for these girls specifically, how has it been bad? Farrah and Maci seem to be making positive steps. Sure, maybe they’re “bribed” to be on the show. Sure, maybe getting a boob job wasn’t a good idea. But it helps her model and support herself, right? Call it what you want, they do this of their own free will. They still struggle, sure, but those struggles are documented in a realistic way most shows can’t match. It’s hardly MTV’s fault for showing it like it is.

We last heard from Shirley on the disturbing 911 call he placed soon after speaking to Amber on Tuesday. Amber is being evaluated at St. John’s Hospital and received a quick visit from Shirley a few hours after authorities responded to his call two days ago. Break out the champagne. Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is no longer subject to a No Contact Order barring her from communication with Gary Shirley. The on-off/often-sparring couple are finally allowed to talk and hang out again after an Indiana judge modified the restraining order against Portwood. But there’s a major catch. The judge is refusing to allow Gary and Amber to be around their daughter, Leah, at the same time. Probably for the best. You know what’s always a risk with Amber and Gary . SLAP HAPPY : The three of them are only allowed to be in the same room while trading custody of Leah. Probably for the best, so Leah doesn’t see more of this . Portwood still faces two felony counts of domestic battery, one felony count of neglect of a dependent, and one misdemeanor count of domestic battery. That’s for allegedly beating Gary’s ass in front of Leah and MTV cameras last fall. Portwood filed a police report against Shirley as recently as last week. Amber is also accused of harassing his girlfriend Ashley Williamson, but there’s no sign of any strife now. The couple “hugged it out” in court today.
