In addition to finishing up The Roots new album, ?uestlove has been working on D’Angelo’s anticipated comeback project. Even though there still isn’t an official release date for D’Angelo’s album, ?uesto told Billboard that it’s almost a wrap. “He’s in the home stretch right now,” said ?uestlove. “I know that Fred Wesley and the JB Horns just did a cut that Q-Tip did; I know he’s doing his vocals right now.” Get more info on the D’Angelo project here . After kicking off their Watch the Throne tour in Atlanta last weekend, Jay-Z and Kanye West’s tour stopped in Philadelphia last night. As y’all may know Kanye’s ex and Wiz Khalifa’s current girl, Amber Rose , hails from Philly and Kanye shouted her out when he performed “Runaway.” “To the city of Philly, I wanna thank y’all for making the incredible person that this song was made for,” said Kanye before singing, “The one place I f*cked up most is I thought, I thought you’d always me mine.” Kanye actually shed a tear while performing the song same at the Atlanta show.
