Colorism is a direct result of slavery and its effects trickle down in pretty much every area of human life, from the workplace to entertainment industry — especially when it comes to women. Statistics even show that darker skin women receive harsher prison sentences than their lighter-skinned counterparts. The worst part about the systemic disease is that poisons, obliterates and deteriorates the self-esteem of young, Black girls, who are ultimately the future of the human race. Media shows us that if you’re a dark skin girl, there’s no way you can play the soft, pretty love interest. They always can find trillions of dark skin actors when it’s a slave movie. I don’t travel in the right circles, so I have never seen the opiate epidemic first hand in America, even though I know it’s a thing, cuz opiates are so good… But I have seen a bunch of heroin addict opiate celebrities have overdoses the last few years, and Demi Lovato’s was probably the most hyped…even though she didn’t die from it. The world came forward with the “Get Well Soon” without the ” YOU Rich as fuck entitled brat with everything to live for”….or the “you’re just a coddled baby and not an actual addict”….with no “we have no sympathy for you fuck, there are real addicts out there on the streets with addiction”….no one got time for this idiot’s nonsense cry for attention The thing that offended me the most besides the sympathy as she sent herself to million dollar rehab she didn’t even notice cutting the check to cuz she has so much money…is that none of her brand partners dropped her. In the real world, opiate addiction gets you fired, you end up on the street, doing fucked up things for a hit.. While this bitch in her mansion is out there trying to steal the sympathy from the people who need it. I don’t know if this self involved pig has done any outreach to other addicts or done anything good with herself, she seems more like a “poor me” victim type. I do know it’s been a year since her overdose and the overdose is the most interesting thing she’s ever done career wise…everything else is vanilla bullshit, that is manipulative marketing tactics full of insincere shit….the overdose was the one legit thing she did. The real issue is that after the overdose – how many kids hoped on the opiate train in a “if Demi does heroin, I should too”….cuz they buy her shitty merch, tickets to her shit show, a fucking opiate seems like a logical thing to get into. Via THR The innovative series will showcase music from Cudi’s new album, which follows a young man on his journey to discover love. Cudi ( How to Make It in America, Westworld ) will write, star in and executive produce the series. The project, described as the first of its kind, hails from Barris’ Khalabo Ink Society banner, with the Black-ish creator on board to exec produce. Ian Edelman ( The After Party ) will reteam with Cudi on the show and will write and exec produce the offering.

In July of 2018, Demi Lovato suffered an overdose that almost claimed her life. Lovato has struggled with addiction for much of her life, but prior to her near-tragic relapse, the singer had been sober for over six years. The incident served as a reminder that every addict is forever on the precipice, one slip-up away from undoing years of recovery. Fortunately, with the help of her loved ones and a team of addiction specialists, Demi was able to turn things around. Immediately after checking out of the hospital, Lovato entered rehab and has been sober ever since. On social media, she’s been admirably candid about her struggles, which is why many fans are surprised by Demi’s decision to go silent as the one-year anniversary of her overdose approaches. Demi’s most recent post is this Instagram tribute to her recently-deceased dog, which appeared nearly three weeks ago. “RIP Bailey.. we love and miss you already sweet girl. So grateful we had so many years with you.. say hi to Buddy for me in Doggy heaven,” Lovato captioned the pic. Apparently, the death of her beloved pet is just of several recent events that have Demi down in the dumps at a particularly vulnerable time. “She lost her dog Bailey about a month ago, and she’s gone dark on social media since then,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. The insider adds that Lovato has been “isolating herself from the outside world” in recent weeks. “She is living with her mom, and her mom is worried, but she would never let anything happen to her daughter on her watch,” the source claims. Further complicating her current situation is the fact that Demi’s ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama has been flaunting his new relationship with model Amanda Pacheco. Obviously, that’s his right, but apparently, the display of affection has been tough for Lovato to endure. “Demi isn’t loving Wilmer being in love with his new girlfriend, because it just reminds her of what she lost,” said the source. The insider added, “This whole year has continued to be a loss for her.” We’re hoping Demi doesn’t really feel that way, as it’s almost impossible to imagine a more productive 12 months. Demi got sober, got her life back on track, and inspired untold millions to look after themselves more closely. On July 8, the pampers powerhouse debuted new packaging for its “Special Delivery” diapers, boasting a beautiful Black father, a first of its kind in the company’s 41-year-old history. It’s also part of a larger campaign that showcased other dads (and moms) as well. One of the fathers modeling for the Daddy-friendly packaging box is Chicago-native Orlando Thompson and his 3-year-old daughter Soraya Lattimore. Thompson told USA Today that he is honored to be part of a push to change the way we look at our fatherhood. “There’s a stereotype that’s out there that dads in general, not just a particular race, are not connected to their kids and not affectionate,” Thompson stressed, adding, “This should have been displaced a long time ago.” So why now for this much-needed representation? “We really believe in celebrating all parents and the great job that parents are doing,” Huggies North America brand director Kristine Rhode recently told USA Today. But folks – it’s fantasy suites week, which means it’s time to send the kids to bed and get straight down to business. Last week, Hannah was introduced to her finalists’ friends and families. Now, if you’ve been keeping up with our Bachelorette spoilers , then you already know who receives Hannah’s final rose. So that’s double good news: Hannah takes at least one finalist to pound town, and it’s not Luke P. We also know that Jed Wyatt proposes to Hannah in the finale , and she accepts. It was later revealed that Wyatt had a girlfriend waiting at home while filming the show, and Hannah has reportedly kicked him to the curb as a result. But that’s a separate issue entirely. During the filming of tonight’s fantasy suite episode, Hannah was still very much smitten with Jed. And so, when previews for the episode revealed that Hannah has sex with someone in a windmill, it was widely believed to be Wyatt. But according to spoiler master Reality Steve, that’s not the case . “In Monday’s episode, you’ll see that Peter is Windmill Sex guy,” Reality Steve writes. “And there is a condom in the room that they joke about since he was the one that had it in the console of his car.” Yes, Peter Weber is the guy who goes full Don Quixote and thrusts his lance in a windmill. (Sorry, we couldn’t resist.) (We’re not ruling out the possibility that Hannah bangs Jed as well, but Peter was the infamous Windmill Guy.) So, that’s where we stand heading into tonight, and given what we know about Jed, that may seem like a bit of a bummer. After all, Peter was a fan favorite from the start, and poor Hannah wound up with a dude who was secretly in a relationship. So in a way, we guess today’s revelation that Peter also had a secret girlfriend is bittersweet. Basically, Hannah would’ve wound up with a cheater regardless. The long and short of it?
