Justin Bieber to be immortalized in Wax for Madame Tussauds

Justin Bieber gets a  new feather in his cap . After become pop sensation of the nation,  Justin Bieber is now getting his own wax statue . Yes!! the 16-year-old singing sensation, Justin Bieber is going to be immortalized in  Wax . The twice Grammy nominated singer and  2011 Brit Awards winner will be honored with his own waxwork at Madame Tussauds New York this March. The good news doesn’t end here. He will be honored with not one, not two but three different wax figures . WOW!! “To be immortalized in wax alongside some of my idols — Michael Jackson, Prince, Beyonce and my mentor, Usher — is incredibly exciting and very cool,” Bieber said about the honor. Not only this, another Justin figure will also be unveiled at  Madame Tussauds Amsterdam and London on the same day. He is the latest star to be honored with a wax figure and will be joining the major music stars from  L ady Gaga to Madonna, Jimi Hendrix to Michael Jackson. For Justin Bieber’s wax statue, hundreds of precise measurements were taken by the sculptors in a sitting with Justin late last year. Justin Bieber wax work then took four months to complete at a cost over $242,000. Liz Edwards, Madame Tussauds’ PR manager, said:  “Justin Bieber is truly a worldwide sensation. We have been absolutely inundated with requests from young fans from around the world to see him at Madame Tussauds. We’re sure his fans will be just as delighted as we are that Justin will be joining the A-list here in March.” As of recent news about Justin,  Justin Bieber got new haircut and plans on donating the hair to a charity auction. Antoine Dodson Reality Show: Coming Soon!

Look out, rapists across the world. Antoine Dodson is coming to a television set near you! The Chicago native, who rose to fame by excitedly/angrily warning an intruder that the police were coming for him (below), is filming a pilot for a reality show produced by E1 Entertainment. Antoine Dodson Interview The program lacks a title and is still being shopped around to networks, but footage already shot focuses on Dodson’s move from Alabama to West Hollywood. It’s a boy for Doutzen Kroes and Sunnery James! You know, the model and her DJ spouse! Son Phyllon was born this morning in Amsterdam! The baby boy, who weighed in at 8 lbs., is the first child for the Victoria’s Secret stunner, who married James after getting pregnant last year. The little guy’s name? “We’re in love with him! Can’t even describe this feeling! Phyllon (pronounce: Fillen) is in our life!” the very proud new father Tweeted . Congratulations to the newlyweds and new parents!

Chin Swee Len, 34, was found dead in a hotel at Schipol early Friday morning after she failed to attend a pre-flight briefing for MH17/Amsterdam-Kuala Lumpur flight on January 14. Malaysia Airlines stewardess Chin Swee Len’s death remains a mystery but the flag carrier is not taking any chances and has changed accommodation for flight staff in Amsterdam. By Jocelyn Vena, with additional reporting by Evan Leong The Lady Gaga wax figure at Madame Tussauds in New York City Photo: Gary Gershoff/ Getty Images All day on Thursday (December 9), Madame Tussauds unveiled eight wax versions of Lady Gaga all over the world, including at the museum’s European outposts, as well as one in New York’s Times Square. MTV News was on hand for the NYC unveiling of the pop star’s wax likeness, where her little monsters showed up dressed up in Gaga-like garb to catch a glimpse of the statue. For the New York version, Gaga appears in a sheer black dress paired with a wide-brim hat made of hair, a look she wore to the Consumer Electronics Show back in January. Earlier in the day, figures were unveiled in Asia and Europe, and they fittingly each have their own unique fashion statement, which Gaga fans were invited to help pick out. In Berlin, Gaga wears a blazer, leotard and hair bow; in London the figure dons a Philip Treacy telephone hat and sparkly navy Armani suit; in Amsterdam, she’s in a nude bodysuit, a white blazer and a towering purple beehive. Her skintight black harlequin outfit is featured in Hong Kong, and her wire “wing” dress is on display in Shanghai. Gaga statues are also making their debut in Los Angeles and Las Vegas later in the day. “As one of the biggest and most unique talents in the world, Lady Gaga is the perfect subject for the biggest figure launch in Madame Tussauds’ history,” a November press release said, explaining why Gaga was getting so many statues. “All of the styles being worked on are classic Gaga, and we’re sure her fans will be delighted with the unique looks when we unveil the figures next month.” Gaga is one of the many pop stars to get a wax statue this year. Bikes are for Everyone While in some parts of the world (Copenhagen, Amsterdam), cycling is the most normal thing in the world for both sexes, other places have had more problems making women feel like cycling might be for them.
