The Brooklyn Nets coach suspiciously spilled his drink at the tail end of November 27′s loss against the Los Angeles Lakers to delay the game , and it seems like the NBA isn’t buying his claims of innocence. According to TMZ Deion Sanders has been 86′ed from the school he co-founded in Texas … after admitting he got into a physical altercation with a head official, TMZ has learned. A rep for the Prime Prep Academy says the school is cutting ties with Deion — who was an “ambassador and employee of the school” — after deciding they can no longer have a professional relationship with him following allegations he choke slammed PPA honcho Kevin Jefferson. Deion says he didn’t assault the guy … but acknowledges they “locked up” after Deion learned some of the student athletes at the school were not doing well in the classroom. In a statement, the school would not explain the specific reason they want to cut ties with Sanders, but acknowledge the positive things he did for the place saying, “ “Deion’s positive contribution is appreciated and regarded as a laudable example. The school family wishes Mr. Sanders much success in his future endeavors.” Deion previously griped that he was angry about the quality of the education at PPA — but school officials insist they have “complete confidence” in their programs. The drug troubled former Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers star had been scheduled to travel to New York this week to spend time with his two children with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales, but cancelled at the last minute. He was later spotted with Khloe, 29, on the same day that it was announced his mother-in-law Kris Jenner and her husband Bruce had sensationally separated. The decision left Destiny, 13, and Lamar Jr., 10, “disappointed and saddened,” a source close to the children told RadarOnline.com. “The kids had expected to see their father this weekend,” the insider revealed. “They were shattered that the visit was canceled. It was to be the first time Destiny and Lamar Jr. had spent anytime with their father since the cheating and drug allegations surfaced. “In the past, when things were normal, Lamar would call and video chat with the kids on a very regular basis. Khloe even actually organized numerous visits for the kids to come to Los Angeles.” Odom, 33, has not seen the children in months, the insider added. “What made Lamar’s decision to cancel his trip all the more hard was that Destiny and Lamar Jr. know exactly what is going on with their dad because they have been teased at school,” the source added. As for why Odom chose to cancel his trip, one source suggested: “Lamar started partying several hours before his flight was scheduled to take off. He lost track of time and just didn’t make it to the airport. Would Lamar rather be doing drugs than spending time with his kids?” Calls seeking comment to Liza Morales weren’t immediately returned. Come on Lamar, Lamar Odom In Rehab And Ignoring Drug Counselors Lamar has to want to help himself. Khloe is dangerously close to poppin’ a vein. She may not put up with him smoking rocks and chopping down slorey mistresses much longer…hopefully. According to Radar Online Lamar Odom had taken a giant step toward recovery by checking into an out-patient rehabilitation program… that was until he blew off a meeting with a drug counsellor on Tuesday, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned. The drug-troubled two-time NBA championship star blew off full-blown rehab because he has “major trust issues and didn’t feel comfortable in a rehab setting,” according to a source close to Odom. He agreed, instead, to enroll in a program to seek help for his addiction to OxyContin, Ambien and crack — a program that would ultimately allow him to go out in public and lead a relatively normal life. “Lamar had been scheduled to meet with a counsellor on Tuesday, but blew off the meeting,” revealed the insider. “Sadly, it doesn’t appear that Lamar is on track to getting healthy.” Those close to the ex-Los Angeles Lakers star — including the Kardashians clan — remain convinced he must check into serious rehab to get clean. Odom’s long-time sports agent Jeff Schwartz is “frustrated with Lamar because he is trying to get him to realize he must go back to rehab,” added the source. “Lamar just shuts down the topic whenever it’s brought up,” said the source. “When Jeff or anyone pushes Lamar to get help, he just abruptly ends the telephone call and let’s future calls go to voicemail. There is only so much Lamar’s inner circle can do… those that love him, including Khloe, cannot persuade him.” Serial philanderer Odom was popped for a DUI on August 30 when cops spotted him driving over the speed limit. He refused to take a chemical test and now faces losing his drivers license for up to a year. A rep for Odom did not immediately return a request for comment.
