Jared Leto is a brilliant actor, a celebrated singer/musician, and above all else: a hottie. And now he’s gonna go and get all fat? Leto has for all intents and purposes “won Hollywood.” Now he wants to really “challenge” himself with the role of the famous super villain, The Joker, in the upcoming film, Suicide Squad . In an interview with Billboard magazine , Leto discussed the challenges that the iconic character presents: The opportunity to take on this nearly Shakespearean character – that’s what graphic novels and comic books are becoming, right? … [He’s] this beautiful disaster of a character – what a big challenge … I’m trying to gain a lot of weight. It means I have to eat every couple of hours, and I’m terrible at eating a lot. Tackling a role that’s been made famous by such acting greats as Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson, that’s a challenge. Having to eat a lot? That’s NOT a challenge. I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “hey … didn’t Jared Leto hook up with Katy Perry last year?” Why yes he did. They hooked up at Coachella. And hooking up with Katy Perry certainly does seem like it would be a challenge to the rest of us. But not to Leto, who’s won an Oscar and fronts a massive rock band. Eating too much is his idea of a challenge. But hey, different things are challenging to different people, I guess. Remember, Jared Leto has a giant penis , plus he’s rich and handsome.
