Angelina Jolie paid a visit to Tunisia this week. Unfortunately, this sparked some unrest near the Libyan border, where a crowd of refugees wreaked havoc. “The people were beyond excited to see her,” says a witness, until it went awry. There were thousands of refugees screaming her name and chanting. The crowd was closing in on her and her security detail; it was intense.” For safety reasons, the actress and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador was forced to cancel half her visit, which included plans to visit a Moroccan hospital. Before the commotion, she spoke with refugees who fled the fighting in Libya. Tunisia has received more than half of the outflow from the war-torn country. Despite the upset, Jolie didn’t lose sight of her mission. “The international community has done well to reinforce Tunisia’s remarkable relief effort,” she said in a statement excerpted by the UN official website. “But with 2,000 people still crossing each day, we cannot let the funding dry up and we need to sustain the momentum,” Angelina Jolie said. Fortunately, they got it, taking a 27-hour escape at the luxe Amangiri resort in Lake Powell, Utah. For Brangelina, it was a very much-needed rendezvous. “Brad said he was enjoying a little mommy and daddy time,” a source says of Pitt, who jetted from New Orleans, where he’s been filming Cogan’s Trade. Sorry, kids. This trip was adults only . Checking in at 2 p.m., they enjoyed a late dinner and flew their private plane over Lake Powell the next morning. Suites at the resort go for $3,300 per night. Why? Because they feature stunning desert views, a full-service spa, yoga and “floatation” pavilions plus a fitness center and beauty salon. Nice downtime. The couple never schedules film projects concurrently, in order to ensure the children are looked after. One is a politician, the other a humanitarian. And now Arnold Schwarzenegger and Angelina Jolie can both add a new title to their resumes: comic book hero. The former Governor of California will soon be transformed by none other than legendary writer Stan Lee, who has created The Governator and tells Entertainment Weekly of the character: “[He] is going to be a great superhero, but he’ll also be Arnold Schwarzenegger. We’re using all the personal elements of Arnold’s life… Only after he leaves the governor’s office, Arnold decides to become a crime fighter and builds a secret high-tech crime-fighting center under his house in Brentwood.” Jolie, meanwhile, is the latest in a long line to be honored by Bluewater Productions. That company has also published comic books for Lady Gaga, Justin Biber, Robert Pattinson and many others. “I learned a great deal about her struggles and triumphs as an award-winning actress, mother and humanitarian,” writer Brent Sprecher said of working on the fictional adventure. Meagan Good is set to star in a new film entitled “Video Girl” where she plays a regular girl with dreams of seeing her name in lights and being on the big screen. She then meets a man who helps her become famous and becomes one of the most sought after video girls in the game, gets hooked on drugs and looses herself in the business. Meagan told Vibe magazine that this movie is “not the Karrine Steffans story”. Not only is Meagen starring in the movie, she also helped produce it, and says that its similar to the movie that Angelina Jolie produced for HBO. The ‘Country Strong’ star and the ‘Glee’ actor have recorded a version of ‘Over the Rainbow’ for his upcoming release. Translating from Gleek speak, Oscar-winning-actress-turned-singing-staple Gwyneth Paltrow will be crooning yet another number with Matthew Morrison. Entertainment Weekly reports that Paltrow will appear on Morrison’s upcoming solo album, which is due out on May 10. On “Glee,” recurring guest Paltrow — who plays flaky substitute teacher Holliday — has covered Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide,” Cee Lo Green’s “Forget You” and Prince’s “Kiss,” the latter of which she performed with Morrison’s Mr. Schue. Now, the Golden Globe-nominated Morrison is having the “Country Strong” star help him out on his debut record, on a tune that’s become almost synonymous with his “Glee” character: “Over the Rainbow.” As Morrison told EW, “People kind of know me for that song now.” The Broadway-trained actor not only used the timeless “Wizard of Oz” number for his “Glee” audition, but also sang it with co-star Mark Salling (who released his own solo effort, Pipe Dreams , in 2010) during the season 1 finale — both times accompanying himself on ukulele. “I wanted to do a duet with a female. I thought that was a good song to do, and we really did a different arrangement of it,” Morrison explained about the version he recorded for his album. “It’s a lot of strings, and it’s beautiful.” Morrison admitted that he felt nervous about approaching Paltrow to see if she’d participate in the recording. “The hardest part of doing this album was asking these people favors, like Elton [John] and her,” he said. “I’m so not that guy.” In addition to Paltrow and John, Morrison also has ‘NSYNC member JC Chasez lined up for a duet on a song titled “Dancing in the Rain.” While there’s no word yet on who, if any, of his “Glee” castmates will appear on the record — both had championed to get their own duets on the album — co-star Jenna Ushkowitz has already been singing its praises . Ushkowitz, who plays glee-club member Tina Cohen-Chang on the show, told MTV News on the red carpet of the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January, “His music is really great.” She went on to say that Morrison “made his own sound” on the album, while adding that it was “a little bit of Justin Timberlake … [and] symphonic-sounding.” Morrison has yet to announce a title for album, though the actor did reveal to MTV News at Clive Davis’ post-Grammy bash in February that ” My Name ” has been considered as a possibility. The kids and Angie are in town visiting Brad on the set of his next movie “Cogan’s Trade” How precious and happy do the kids look on their little candy-and-potato-chips run? We love Knox and his little jeans and wife-beater steez. They even did Zahara’s hair… which is looking a little, umm, processed more manageable these days.
