Elvis Perkins, a passionate defender of animal rights, leads his “folk 'n' roll” band through the overgrown Old Zoo in Los Angeles' Griffith Park. Inside the zoo's abandoned cages, they perform acoustic renditions of “Shampoo,” “Doomsday” and “May Day” off the album “Elvis Perkins In Dearland” and the “Doomsday EP.” At every Tour Stop, we follow road-weary musicians as they break free from the confines of buses, hotel rooms and stages.
