Look at this one right here.” “Grab his neck right now, grab his neck now. Grab it! Grab it!” Bunting yelled, as Swick caught the alligator, grabbing its neck with his left hand. Under Florida law, illegally possessing or capturing alligators is a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Online jail records show that Bunting and and Swick, of Wellington, Fla., posted bond shortly after their arrest. This guy and any other person who defends a dog after it has killed a human for “teasing” it is as dumb as a box of nails… Straight up! actionnewsjax.com : Four dogs were removed from an Eastside home Friday night after police say a man died as the result of an animal attack. The dog’s owner is defending his pets and took us inside his backyard where the attack happened. The dogs’ owner, Lephus Felton, believes his dogs were provoked before the attack. But Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office investigators and neighbors that we spoke with say that wasn’t the case. “My dogs ain’t no vicious dogs. They’re vicious to protect this yard,” Felton said. Felton owns the four dogs. Our crew watched animal control officers remove the dogs from Felton’s home off Van Buren and Jessie streets. “My dog is trained to protect this yard I have signs, beware of dog signs, all over,” Felton said. Felton showed us where the deadly attack happened in his backyard. “It happened right here. How are they going to get him and pull him back in?” Felton said. Felton said the unidentified victim, a man police say is in his 60s, provoked the animals. But witnesses tell Action News Jax and JSO investigators the victim was taking out the garbage at this dumpster behind Felton’s yard when the dogs went under this fence and dragged him back here, killing him. “Looks like they went underneath the fence by all accounts we have,” said JSO Sgt. C.H. Ford. “No. How are they going to do that there?” said Felton. Felton said the only time his dogs have shown signs of aggression is if passersby would tease them. JSO said it is too soon to tell which dogs actually attacked and what will happen to them. The drowning of 2-year-old Lane Graves by an alligator at Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort still haunts members of the public two months later. On the evening of June 14th, Graves was wading in the shallow waters of Seven Seas Lagoon, Disney’s man-made lake when an alligator snatched and dragged him underwater . The little boy’s body was found by divers six feet under water the next day, just 10-15 feet away from where he was attacked. Radar Online obtained a copy of the full autopsy , which rules the death as an “accident” and notes that Graves sustained fatal injuries to his “neck, scalp and skull.” Graves, whose family was enjoying a movie night on the beach, was “dressed in a pair of blue shorts” with a disposable diaper underneath, “worn with a short-sleeved T-shirt emblemized with the American flag.” The most severe injuries, according to the report, were around Graves’ head. “The right side of the scalp,” the coroner noted, revealed “a vertically-oriented laceration measuring 2.3 x 0.3 cm.” with “a maximal depth of 0.4 cm. “The skin on the left side of the hair-bearing scalp in the parietal region has two recent puncture wounds.” Graves’ skull was fractured, and the coroner found “abrasions on his eyelid, eyebrow and jaw.” He concluded that Graves “died as the result of cranio-cervical trauma and drowning.” The alligator was eventually caught and killed by authorities. Even though there is no swimming permitted in the lagoon, signs did not warn resort guests that alligators, snakes and other dangerous animals inhabited the waters. Prior to the accident, lounge chairs would be set up on the beach for people to sunbathe, and the resort also hosted movie nights, like the one the Nebraska-based Graves took part in before their son was killed. Graves’ father, Matt tried to wrestle the boy out of the jaws of the alligator, but it was too late. We continue to keep the Graves family in our thoughts.

But Aryanna Gourdin has become a source of heated debate online because she’s most definitely into hunting. Gourdin and her father, Eli, recently took a trip from Utah to South Africa, with Aryanna excitedly sharing a photo on her Facebook page of her sitting on top of a dead zebra. She’s holding a bow and arrow and she has written the following as a caption: “One of my dream hunts for sure.” Should a 12-year old really be out hunting for big game? Gourdin sees nothing wrong with it. “It’s something I cherish and enjoy and I want other people to see what I experienced,” she said in an interview with Good Morning America. This father-daughter trip was one of several the pair have taken over the past five years, but her Facebook postings have turned Gourdin into a topic of heated discussion. One recent photo received over 73,000 comments, with some users are calling Aryanna “sick” and an “animal hater.” In a post on Tuesday, Gourdin did acknowledge the uproar. “My last profile picture was very offensive to others and I have learned my lesson with that pose, [sic] I apologize.” But Gourdin’s father doesn’t want his daughter saying she’s sorry for having a hobby. Or, on a grander scale, he doesn’t want her saying she’s sorry for who she is. “We’re proud to be hunters and we’ll never apologize for being a hunter,” Eli told GMA. Eli also wants to clear up misunderstandings about hunting: the giraffe he and his daughter killed? The one she’s posing with above? It was offered to them for a kill by the farm they were visiting. “They actually had an older giraffe that was eating up valuable resources other giraffes need to survive,” he said. He also said that the meat from the animals they’ve killed was donated to a local village and will feed 800 orphans over the next month. Despite the controversy, Aryanna said she doesn’t plan to give up one of her favorite activities. “I would never back down from hunting,” she says. “I am a hunter and no matter what people say to me, I’m never going to stop.” This is merely the latest in a long line of viral hunting controversies. The photo was meant to celebrate a three-year-old’s birthday, but by all means let’s accuse the parents of animal cruelty. Kensington Palace released four photos today, taken by Matt Porteous, celebrating Prince George’s birthday. The shoot took place earlier this month, and one of the photos shows George sharing his ice cream with the family’s cocker spaniel, Lupo. The Royal Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals is furious with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for allowing George to feed Lupo dairy, which can cause digestive issues and diarrhea. “It is lovely that Prince George is trying to help keep his family dog, Lupo, cool in these high temperatures,” RSPCA stated, according to the Guardian . Making these can be really fun for children and the end product is both safe and enjoyable for dogs.” Kensington Palace has not addressed the question of whether the treat is dog-friendly or not, despite activists automatically assuming that it’s a white chocolate covered ice cream. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has both grown up with dogs, so it’s safe to assume that they would never knowingly put Lupo in danger. The other photos in the set feature George on a swing, thought to be a wedding gift to his parents.
