By Gil Kaufman DJ AM Photo: Chris Weeks/ WireImage As the one-year anniversary of DJ AM ‘s death approaches, a number of celebrity fans gathered at the Trousdale nightclub in Los Angeles on Tuesday night to honor the DJ who was a beloved part of the city’s nightlife scene. The party was the first of a number of celebrations in honor of AM (born Adam Goldstein), who died last August of a drug overdose. According to the Los Angeles Times, among the celebs at the party were Leonardo DiCaprio, Rashida Jones, Samantha Ronson (who spun a bit on the turntables after reportedly visiting ex Lindsay Lohan on the actress’ first night back from court-ordered rehab), Stephanie Pratt, actress Meagan Good and Apl.de.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas. Thursday night also brought a tribute to AM, this time at New York club Santos Party House , with scheduled sets from DJ Premier, DJ Stretch Armstrong, Mark Ronson and Eli Escobar. On Saturday, the anniversary will be celebrated at the Fast Life in Los Angeles. The event is being sponsored by the retail store, owned by AM’s musical partner, Blink-182’s Travis Barker. The afternoon gathering will feature sets by DJ Morse Code, DJ Spider and Pase Rock. Attendees can buy a limited-edition DJ AM Mixer T-shirt that will benefit the DJ AM Memorial Fund. “It’s been one year since we lost our friend, so this Saturday we’re meeting up at the Fast Life in Los Angeles to commemorate the life of DJ AM and make a contribution to his memorial fund,” read a blog post at FamousSAS.com announcing the party. Earlier this month, the memorial fund donated money to the Los Angeles branch of the Phoenix House, a residential addiction-treatment facility for young adults, according to TMZ . The cash was aimed at helping buy DJ equipment for the residents, in an effort to inspire them to try their hand at making music. Goldstein was 36 when he was found dead in his New York apartment last summer of an accidental drug overdose . A recovering addict, AM had worked to help other young addicts overcome their addictions in the MTV series “Gone Too Far,” which aired following his death. According to ?uestlove , the Roots drummer has teamed up with the troubled star to form a supergroup. The influential hip-hop artist revealed in an interview with AOL’s Spinner that the duo is indeed planning to work together. The group is “definitely going to happen,” the drummer said. No name for the group has been confirmed, however, ?uesto disclosed that the singer has been in the lab with producer Salaam Remi, who worked on Winehouse’s breakout album Back to Black . The drummer gushed that the resulting work is “amazing.” While Winehouse has apparently touched base with Remi, ?uesto said that getting face time in the studio with the star has become an issue because of the embattled soul singer’s immigration issues. “It’s just that we have to work overtime to get her visa situation together. The closest she can come to the States is Jamaica.” Static with immigration has reportedly caused the singer to cancel U.S. tour dates in the past. The star also ended up accepting her Grammy Awards via satellite in 2008 due to visa problems. But even if Winehouse can’t make it across the pond, ?uesto said he’ll try to speak with the Grammy-winning star in Europe. “I’ll be in France for four, five days, so I’ll see if she’s up for discussing this over dinner.” In the meantime, the stars are chopping it up over the Internet. “We’ve been Skype-ing the sh– out of each other.” This is not ?uestlove’s first time at the supergroup rodeo. Diddy will make a guest appearance on the series’ upcoming season, which kicks off June 27. The show’s creator, Doug Ellin, told EW.com that Diddy will appear as himself alongside “Entourage” executive producer Mark Wahlberg in an episode set to air in August. “Turtle [Jerry Ferrara] is starting a business, and he’s trying to get them to invest in it,” Ellin explained. “He’s going to a lot of people about this investment.” Diddy tweeted the news on Thursday and included a link to a story posted on AOL’s TheBoombox.com . Rocker Lenny Kravitz will also make a cameo in the star-packed episode. “Ari’s trying to trade favors,” Ellin revealed to EW.com of the plotline that finds Jeremy Piven’s hard-driving agent wheeling and dealing as usual. “He’s got to get Lenny to do a movie so someone else will do something for him.” Diddy won’t be the first hip-hop artist to show up on “Entourage”: Bow Wow played an up-and-coming comedian, 50 Cent taunted Turtle in a guest spot as a cocky driver and Snoop also did his thing on the HBO hit; the West Coast MC played himself. Wahlberg recently told MTV News the new season could be the setup for a much buzzed-about “Entourage” movie. “I am more focused on making that movie than my own films,” Wahlberg said. “I just think we can make a great movie. I think people always wanted [it] and have complained that the episodes are too short — they’ve always wanted more. I think we’re going to do it,” he said. “We just have to end strong, and this season is, by far, the best season so far.” Both Diddy and Kravitz have been making power moves in Hollywood. Kravitz gave a touching portrayal as a male nurse in the Oscar-winning drama “Precious” , and Diddy’s scene-stealing turn in this month’s “Get Him to the Greek” won raves from co-star Jonah Hill. Sporting her trademark wardrobe choices, the singer arrived at the game in a bikini-like bra top, a large leather jacket, and, according to reports, a rather testy attitude. AOL’s Popeater received photographic evidence of the Lady via a Twitter photo sent in by Mets fan Jimmie Kassab. In the photo, Gaga looks slightly perturbed and is pointing accusingly at two gentlemen standing near her VIP seats behind home plate. According to reports from fans at the game (including one humorous account from the father of a writer/reporter at website Jezebel ), in the fifth inning, Gaga became upset when photographers who were at the game to cover the Mets suddenly noticed her presence and turned their lenses on her. Gaga reacted by giving the photographers the finger and whisked herself and her entourage out of their seats at homeplate to take refuge in a luxury suite. Speaking with MTV News during the World Series last year, Gaga compared herself to Yankees reliever Mariano Rivera — a situation that’s even more relevant today given the reaction to her latest video, “Alejandro.” “I’ve actually been making a lot of Yankee analogies in my interviews lately because I get asked, ‘Do you feel pressure?
