According to NY Daily News: More than her four children, most certainly more than her 9-year-old boy, Omaree, Synthia Varela-Casaus apparently loved meth. Her relationship with the drug began when she was 15, and its addiction was the driving force in her sad, crime-laden life, leaving her a wreck of a woman at age 38. She lives now in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque, charged with kicking, beating and stomping to death young Omaree Varela in a seething rage in December. She did not mean to kill her son, she told police. She was only disciplining him and “kicked him the wrong way,” KOAT-TV reported. Varela-Casaus has been arrested more than 20 times, on charges ranging from meth possession to prostitution Two of her children, one of them Omaree, were born while she was in jail. At varying times, she has left her kids in the care of friends, relatives and the foster care system. Of the four youngsters, Omaree had spoken out in his own defense. Last summer, he managed to dial 911 while a 20-minute reign of verbal abuse and physical threats barraged him. On an audiotape of the call, his mother and his stepdad, Steve Casaus, are heard berating him in a series of profanity-laden rants. The kid never had a chance. Sad.

According to Rolling Out: “First and foremost, the friendship you saw on camera between the two of us was genuine. We were very supportive of each other and talked every day,” wrote Bailey. “The most challenging part for me has not been disagreeing with my husband on camera, or finding out my family essentially considered sabotaging my impending wedding in my first season on the show, or even the unfortunate argument with fellow cast member Kandi Burruss during the Pillow Talk party this season,” she continued. “In all honesty, it’s been watching someone who I thought was a friend [NeNe Leakes] first attack my husband and then attack me by suggesting I be fired from the show.” Bailey then went on to detail the infamous Mexico incident when Leakes called Peter Thomas a “b—-.” The “b—-” incident was very disrespectful and a low point in our relationship. But as mature adults who genuinely cared about each other, we worked through the mess, and decided our friendship could survive. Don’t get me wrong; it was very difficult to forgive NeNe for her harsh insult towards my husband because I would never refer to a friend’s husband in such a derogatory way. Lil Za just struck a plea deal in his drug and vandalism case that will keep Justin Bieber’s buddy out of jail if he can keep his nose clean going forward. Often seen with and referred to in tandem with his big brother Lil Twist (above, with Bieber and Za), he is best known for his association with Justin. It’s an association that landed him in a world of trouble earlier this year. Za pleaded no contest to felony drug possession, having been charged with two counts of felony drug possession for Ecstasy and Oxycodone in January. Police found drugs near him during this winter’s raid on his home – Justin Bieber’s house – after which Za alleged racism on the part of the legal system. In any case, a judge will reduce the felony to a misdemeanor as long as Lil Za doesn’t break the law for the next year. In other words, don’t be Chris Brown. He must do 20 hours of community labor and complete a drug program. Za, who is repped by Shawn Holley, also pleaded no contest to misdemeanor vandalism for destroying a jail phone … which he must pay $600 to replace. Interestingly, Za’s no contest plea comes as the L.A. County D.A. decides whether to charge Bieber with a misdemeanor or a felony for his egging case.
