Sexting isn’t just a bad idea, it can also land you in jail. After receiving an anonymous tip of nude photos posted on a Twitter account, the James City County Police Department in Virginia has charged a 16 year old girl with one count of distributing child pornography… for pictures she took of herself. The nude selfies were shared on Twitter as well as sent to some boys. Police say the lewdness of the photos crossed the line from sexting to child pornography. The teen and her mother could be forced to complete a Sexting Education class as well as facing jail time. Anyone who has the photos and shares them with friends could potentially be charged with distribution of child pornography. The girl’s phone was confiscated as part of the investigation, which might be the only part of this story that doesn’t leave me shaking my head. Chris Kattan now has something in common with Justin Bieber . Aside from each being unfunny on Saturday Night Live. The actor was arrested this morning on suspicion of DUI after his car hit another vehicle around 1 a.m. on the 101 in San Fernando Valley. According to TMZ insiders, another driver called the California Highway Patrol to report a motorist was “weaving all over the roadway at slow speeds” before Kattan reportedly swerved into a closed-off area and stuck a Department of Transportation vehicle from behind. Fortunately, there was no one inside and Kattan did not suffer any injuries. Police confirm that Kattan appeared very out of it at the scene and was booked on charges of driving while impaired, with an emphasis on prescription pills, not alcohol. A British woman angry with her father and step-mother set up fake Facebook accounts in their names and then used the accounts to send herself abusive – and often explicit – messages. 24-year-old Michelle Chapman kept up the posts for more than a year and then reported them to the police. Authorities questioned her puzzled family and even detained her step-mother before tracing the accounts back to Chapman’s own computer. Officers report she was seeking revenge on her father for past grievances and was trying to break up his marriage. Her defense attorney argued Chapman suffers from mental health problems, but that didn’t prevent the court from sentencing her to 20 months in jail. Kristen Stewart is featured in the March issue of Marie Claire, going off in detail about her personal life and sending a simple message to critics: Judge away, losers! The actress does not mention Robert Pattinson or Rupert Sanders by name, but she does make a revealing statement when asked about her past and what she would change. “I stand by every mistake I’ve ever made,” she says. “So judge away.” Many have, of course, calling Stewart out for her affair with Sanders and also for her general demeanor. But Kristen doesn’t try to pretend that she’s someone comfortable in the spotlight, acknowledging her stilted interviews and admitting: “This is totally who I am. I don’t try to force it or turn it into something else or fabricate this personality… so I totally agree when people say I’m, like, the most awkward person.” Among other topics the star delves into: Will she have kids someday? I had it too good to not have that, too. If I were to put money on it, definitely, yeah. But you earn that… that’s so not here yet. I mean, at this point, I can’t tell you if I want to hang out on Saturday. Does she feel pressure to love again? You don’t know who you will fall in love with. You just don’t. You don’t control it… I don’t pressure myself…If you fall in love with someone, you want to own them – but really, why would you want that? You want them to be what you love. I’m much too young to even have an answer for that question. What will be her next big hit? Dude, I have no idea what I’m doing, and that’s kind of how I love it. I had no idea Twilight was going to be huge. Certain movies I’ve done I thought were going to be amazing did nothing. So it’s fun not having so much control. It’s kind of a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants lifestyle – it’s fun, but it’s scary as f-ck.
