Then, she was accused of making the whole thing up just to get another reality show, as many started to wonder if Emily Goodhand even exists . Now, as speculation surges regarding Dean’s alleged mistress, we learn that a mysterious ailment landed Tori in the hospital for six days . What was it? Emily Goodhand has only been “interviewed” once and never photographed. The popular theory at the moment is that Tori and Dean lied about his affair. A source told celebrity gossip site Radar that Tori checked into the hospital with a migraine and an ulcer … stress-fueled issues consistent with her issues. “Tori’s head hurt so much, she couldn’t have any light in her bedroom. And she couldn’t keep any food down from the ulcer,” says an alleged insider. “She was in a great deal of pain and was very scared.” Sounds fairly believable, right? Sure. But get this … None other than the guy causing her that migraine and ulcer, Dean McDermott, was by her side every day … along with the reality TV camera crew. It all makes sense, doesn’t it? Dean comforting Tori through her medical crisis after all they’ve been through is the perfect denouement for the show. He’s not perfect, but he’s there when it counts. Tori will see that although Dean is a cheating, lying, alcoholic who says she sucks at sex and stuck it in some random Canadian (possibly), he loves her. Did Spelling really have an ulcer and/or migraine? Very possibly. But TV expert that she is, she had to know a hospital trip would be perfect for True Tori . It’s like art imitating life … or the reverse?

Charges Dropped Against White Police Officer Who Killed Unarmed Black Teen The charges against a former Arkansas police officer who gunned down a 15-year-old boy in August of 2012 using the defense that he thought the teen was attempting to run into him with his vehicle have now been dropped and the family of the young man who lost his life is now left still searching for justice. via Arkansas Online A judge has dropped charges against a former Little Rock police officer whose manslaughter trial in the fatal shooting of a teenager while on duty in 2012 twice resulted in deadlocked juries. Josh Hastings returned to court Monday morning for a hearing before a third trial that had been scheduled to begin next month. But at the proceeding before Pulaski County Circuit Judge Wendell Griffen, prosecutors requested dropping the charges instead of going to trial. Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney John Johnson noted the facts were largely undisputed but that the two mistrials brought to light that “this is a unique case where there can be no unanimity of the jury.” “We believe that he should have been found guilty,” Johnson said while acknowledging he now believes getting that verdict would be impossible. “Not just difficult. We have no good-faith basis we would ever get a jury to unanimously convict.” The dismissal does allow the charges to be refiled, though Hastings’ defense attorney said afterward that it’s hard to imagine that would occur. Johnson noted the family of 15-year-old Bobby Moore, whom Hastings fatally shot, objected to the decision to dismiss charges. Deazzaray Perkins, Moore’s older sister, blasted prosecutors for dropping the charges “when they know this man was in the wrong.” “He killed a 15-year-old child,” she said in an impassioned statement to reporters by the front steps of the courthouse. “They think we’re supposed to be OK with it? I’m not … That was my baby brother. It’s been three years. Hastings on Aug. 12, 2012, shot Moore while investigating a report of vehicle break-ins at the Shadow Lake apartment complex in Little Rock. Hastings says he opened fire while Moore drove a vehicle toward him, but prosecutors in the first two trials contended that the vehicle was not moving toward Hastings and that he acted recklessly in opening fire. Hastings was fired from the force after police investigated the shooting. His attorney, Bill James, said Hastings will seek to get his job back. This shooting took place only 6 months after acquitted child-murderer George Zimmerman gunned down unarmed teen Trayvon Martin and sadly, both cases have seen the same outcome. What will it take for these men and other like them to be held accountable for their reckless actions???

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Reacts To Donald Sterling The basketball legend took to Time Magazine to address the Donald Sterling controversy and society’s reaction to the situation. According to Time: It’s time to look at ourselves — and our collective moral outrage — in the mirror, says former NBA player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Moral outrage is exhausting. And dangerous. The whole country has gotten a severe case of carpal tunnel syndrome from the newest popular sport of Extreme Finger Wagging. Not to mention the neck strain from Olympic tryouts for Morally Superior Head Shaking. All over the latest in a long line of rich white celebrities to come out of the racist closet. (Was it only a couple days ago that Cliven Bundy said blacks would be better off picking cotton as slaves? And only last June Paula Deen admitted using the “N” word?) Yes, I’m angry, too, but not just about the sins of Donald Sterling. I’ve got a list. But let’s start with Sterling. I used to work for him, back in 2000 when I coached for the Clippers for three months. He was congenial, even inviting me to his daughter’s wedding. Nothing happened or was said to indicate he suffered from IPMS (Irritable Plantation Master Syndrome). 2006: U.S. Dept. of Justice sued Sterling for housing discrimination. Allegedly, he said, “Black tenants smell and attract vermin.” 2009: He reportedly paid $2.73 million in a Justice Dept. suit alleging he discriminated against blacks, Hispanics, and families with children in his rentals. (He also had to pay an additional nearly $5 million in attorneys fees and costs due to his counsel’s “sometimes outrageous conduct.”) 2009: Clippers executive (and one of the greatest NBA players in history) sued for employment discrimination based on age and race.
