According to People: Brittany Murphy’s mother Sharon has come forward to dispute claims by Brittany’s father that her daughter may have been intentionally poisoned before her death in 2009. “I have chosen to stay out of the limelight since the tragic and sudden death of my wonderful, talented, loving daughter four years ago this Dec. 20,” Sharon Murphy writes for The Hollywood Reporter in response to an assertion by Brittany’s estranged father, Angelo Bertolotti, that a new lab test reveals the possibility of foul play. “I have no choice now but to come forward in the face of inexcusable efforts to smear my daughter’s memory by a man who may be her biological father, but was never a real father to her in her lifetime,” Sharon writes. “He has made outrageous statements over the past few years, culminating in this latest madness: that my darling daughter was murdered.” Sharon says that Bertolotti did not parent Brittany as she was growing up, only to resurface when Brittany’s acting career started going well. “Angelo did come out of the woodwork when Brittany was a teenager and found success in a number of TV shows just before she was in Clueless, she says. “But she quickly saw him for who he is – and didn’t want anything to do with him.” Bertolotti alleges the Los Angeles County Coroner should have investigated further and done more testing before determining that both his daughter and his son-in-law, Simon Monjack, died young and only five months apart from natural causes. He sued the coroner last year, and recently held up a lab report, based on Brittany’s hair samples, as proof of possible poisoning. Sharon argues that Bertolotti’s lab is merely an “Internet site” that created a false report, and although she initially disputed the possibility of toxic mold as a cause in her daughter and Simon Monjack’s deaths, she now concedes that it may have been a factor. “We will never know for sure,” Sharon says. “However, we do know the Los Angeles County Coroner did extensive tests and found that she died of natural causes. And now she is a real living angel in heaven.” These two should stop fighting and honor their daughter’s memory.
A young woman recently shared a photo of a poem created her brother Jonathan when they were younger. Clearly, their relationship was rocky back then. “My parents keep this framed on the wall,” she wrote on Reddit. “It’s a poem written and illustrated by my brother.” That it is. And it’s pretty awesome: To be sure, the feeling was mutual: “I’ve been told I was totally fine when my parents brought my brother home. Excited even,” the woman recalls. “Then I asked when we were sending him back.” Fortunately, the work, which was originally published in an elementary school poetry book, can be laughed at these days, as they get along very well . Gabe Day is a “bipolar stoop kid taking care of biz.” Or so the 18-year-old son of Daniel Day-Lewis claims in his new music video for “Green Auras.” Gabe Day Lewis – Green Auras Gabe attends Sarah Lawrence College near New York City and is a rapper, produced by artist J. Cole, who just released the music video for the track. He covers a host of topics , including his feelings about his father. “Call me Gabe Day and not Gabe Day-Lewis,” he raps. “Cause if you’re trying to call me out, I’m going to Gabe Day-Lose It! I know what my name is and I know what fame is. Judging someone for their dad is just as bad as being racist.” Alright then. Throughout the video, Day appears to be smoking weed, and even explains at one point with the lyrics, “self-medicated cause my heart and my throat hurt.” Day is the son of French actress Isabelle Adjani, with whom Daniel was in a relationship for six years, but whom he left in 1995 before their son was born. He then moved on to Deya Pichardo, and when Adjani heard that he had married, she called Pichardo to congratulate her … only she was not the wife. Unbeknownst to Pichardo or Adjani, the British actor had wed Arthur Miller’s daughter, director Rebecca Miller, while filming Miller’s The Crucible . The couple is still married and has two younger sons. Gabe addressed his mother’s loss in the rap, spouting, “I feel the most grief for my mother who has no one left in her life but me and my older brother.” He also discussed his personal struggles, at length. “I find out that I’m bipolar, now I wear it like a badge. I was on a bad path. I did too many drugs. While rumors continue to circulate that the Kim Kardashian-Kanye West wedding will be filmed for television , we now have an update on an alleged prenuptial agreement that has been reached between both halves of the famous couple. And it includes some unusual clauses. To wit, sources claim there’s a “cheating clause” and a “drug clause” in the document, along with a clause that states Kris Jenner cannot have any input in Kim’s career. Moreover, there’s reportedly a plastic surgery clause as well, one that actually prohibits Kim from going under the knife.
