According to Rolling Out: Compton rapper The Game has pledged to donate $10,000 to help with relief efforts in the aftermath of the deadly typhoon that recently ripped through the Philippines. “This hurts my heart knowing that many of those amongst the dead are little children,” said The Game on his Instagram page. “It is in these times where we as people of this world get the opportunity to unite with one another & give back, help, lend a hand, donate or just send prayers.” The super storm that stuck the Southeastern Asian country has as of date left over 3,500 people dead, over 1,100 missing, and over 12,000 injured. In contrast to his tough talking rapper image, The Game has continued to show up when people are in need. This latest donation is just one in a long line of charitable gestures made by the rapper, whose given name is Jayceon Taylor, through his “The Robin Hood Project” organization. If you recall, Chris Brown is out of rehab but continuing his anger management treatment on an outpatient basis, according to the R&B singer’s rep. Karrueche Tran , who has dutifully stood by her man before, during and after the rehab stint, made rounds at the party and was more outgoing than Chris. After the event, the couple went to dinner at Aventine, after which cameras saw Chris kissing Karrueche before the two headed their separate ways. On October 29, Chris sought to “gain focus and insight into his [behavior], enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and career from a healthier vantage point.” Chris Brown Out of Rehab, Still in Treatment It was rumored that he would stay in the Malibu facility where he sought help for months, though that obviously didn’t happen. He’s out after three weeks. Regardless of what good it did or didn’t do, the 24-year-old’s rehab stint follows the star’s arrest for assault in front of the W Hotel in Washington D.C. Brown and his bodyguard were taken into custody, though the case is pending and may still fall apart due to conflicting witness accounts and lack of evidence. The real problem is his probation for his 2009 assault on then girlfriend Rihanna, as he could have that revoked regardless of whether he’s convicted. Batkid has taken Gotham, and the Internet, by storm. Five-year-old Miles lived out the dream of a lifetime as he became ” Batkid ” for a day in San Francisco on Friday, with the help of The Make-A-Wish Foundation. Diagnosed with leukemia at 18 months old, the boy ended his treatments in June and is now in remission, which is by far the most important part of the story. What followed was awesome, though. Batkid Makes Way Through San Francisco San Francisco turned itself into Gotham City, and thousands of bystanders cheered as Miles saved the city from some of Batman’s iconic adversaries. The Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area chapter outlined several crimes that Miles was asked to solve before being celebrated at a ceremony hosted by the mayor. CBS is moving forward with a How I Met Your Mother spinoff . The network confirmed this week that creator Carter Bays will write and produce a pilot titled How I Met Your Dad that will follow the same premise as his previous long-running drama, though the new series will be told from a female perspective. CBS is referring to the spinoff as a “kindred spirit” to How I Met Your Mother, though Bays has taken to Twitter and shot down talk that fresh characters will be introduced on the How I Met Your Mother Season 9 finale. “This will be its own, totally new show,” Bays Tweeted. Justin Bieber is clashing with his neighbors once again. According to TMZ sources, the singer partied hard last night, hosting a crazy shindig at his Calabasas mansion for approximately 100 guests, including Snoop Lion. Neighbors reportedly called the cops around 1 a.m., prompting the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department to stop by and tell the revelers to keep the noise down. To no avail, however, as Justin’s neighbor called the police again around 3 a.m. because of the raucous and because he smelled marijuana. Authorities therefore came down on Bieber and company again… and then AGAIN at 5:30 a.m. when another neighborhood resident complained. This final time, deputies filed a police report against Bieber for disturbing the police. The County District Attorney will now decide whether the artist will be prosecuted or not for his actions. This, of course, is merely the latest run-in Justin has had with his neighbors. He’s been accused of spitting in the face of one man and has driving recklessly around town with kids nearby.
