“I Earned It:” Should A Woman Keep Her Married Last Name After A Divorce?

For some reason, changing last names and identities is something a lot of women look forward to once they get married. But if you’re like Tina Turner, some women have established themselves professionally through their husband’s last name, so it’s no wonder they’d want to keep it. Take, for example, Porsha Stewart of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. When Wendy Williams asked her if she’d be keeping her husband’s last name after the divorce, she proclaimed that she “earned” that name and would definitely be keeping it. While she “sort of” became famous under the last name Stewart, why a woman would want to hold on to the name of a man who, in her own words, mistreated and humiliated her? More…

Hol’ Up Ho: Phaedra Slams Kenya For Joking About Apollo’s Prison Time – “SHE Should Probably Get Tested For AIDS”

Phaedra Responds To Kenya Joking About Husband Apollo Having AIDS RHOA season 6 is currently underway and while there have been a few attempts this season by some of the ladies to make peace with their on-screen frenemies in the midst of all the drama, most of these attempts have pretty much failed. Cast member Phaedra Parks recently admitted that she’s still feeling some type of way about her messy fellow cast-mate Kenya Moore joking about her husband Apollo possibly contracting AIDS during his prison stint. via The Grio Phaedra confessed that her biggest problem with Kenya is that during the RHOA season 5 reunion, Kenya told Phaedra that she should get an AIDS test. “I think when you’re getting a good read, and I was giving her [Kenya] a good southern bell read — you will say anything to try to throw shade,” Phaedra told theGrio’s Chris Witherspoon. “The reason I was so upset it because AIDS is a very serious disease and it should not be taken lightly. It affects unfortunately mostly black women.” We’re a little surprised that Phaedra is still riding on this statement since she has to be aware by now that it’s in Kenya’s DNA to throw the messiest of shade. However, Phaedra also threw a little subliminal shade of her own by insisting that Kenya is the one who might want to consider a trip to the clinic. Check out what else she had to say on the flip.

Corgi Rides Slide, Has Time of His Life

They are an especially cute breed of dog, and they have especially unique ways of having fun. Some Corgis like to emulate the sound of an ambulance . Others like to cover Carly Rae Jepsen’s ” Call Me Maybe .” And still others have needs that are a lot more basic, such as a Corgi named Buddy who is featured in the following video. Watch him slide down a twisty slide over and over and over and just try not to have a smile plastered on your face as you do: Corgi LOVES the Slide

What Had Happened Was: Terrence Howard Blames Robert Downey Jr. For His Absence In “Iron Man” Sequels

Terrence, we would be mad too if we weren’t getting anymore of that “Iron Man” gwap. Terrence Howard Blames Robert Downey Jr. For His Absence In Iron Man Sequels Robert Downey Jr. is known to be part of shrewd business deals. According to US Magazine: Drama, drama, drama. Terrence Howard spilled all kinds of secrets on the Nov. 14 episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” including — but not limited to — what really went down between the first and second Iron Man movies, when he was replaced as Lt. Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes by Don Cheadle. “This is going to get me in a lot of trouble,” the Best Man Holiday actor told Bravo’s Andy Cohen. “It turns out that the person that I helped become Iron Man, when it was time to re-up for the second [movie], took the money that was supposed to go to me and pushed me out.” Howard, 44, didn’t name names, but the person who became Iron Man, of course, is Robert Downey Jr. “We did a three-picture deal, so that means that you did the deal ahead of time. It was going to be a certain amount for the first one, a certain amount for the second one, a certain amount for the third,” the Oscar nominee explained to Cohen. “They came to me with the second and said, ‘Look, we will pay you one-eighth of what we contractually had for you, because we think the second one will be successful with or without you.’” (The first Iron Man movie grossed more than $585 million worldwide in its first 14 months. The sequel, Iron Man 2, was the third highest-grossing movie of 2010, and Iron Man 3 has grossed over $1 billion since its release in May 2013.) Howard said that he tried, to no avail, to get some backup from his pal. “I called my friend — that I helped get the first job — and he didn’t call me back for three months,” he claimed, prompting the WWHL audience to break into a chorus of disapproving “oohs.” “How are things now with your friend?” Cohen asked. “Oh, I love him,” the star replied dryly, without a trace of a smile. “God’s gonna bless him.” Dayum, he helped Robbie get the “Iron Man” gig and in the end he screwed him. With friends like that, who needs enemies. WENN
