Lady Gaga is, or at least was, more than happy to ruffle Madonna’s feathers over her hit song “Born This Way,” she reveals in an interview with Attitude. “I have to be really honest, I was completely kind of floored that Madonna was singing my song on her stage every night!” Mother Monster recalled. “I’m not thinking about anybody but me and my fans when I’m on stage.” Lady Gaga Speaks on Madonna Feud Madonna took to performing a mashup of “Born This Way” and “Express Yourself ” (her old hit) during live concerts last year, as a means of making a point. The songs share a similar beat and melody, but Gaga says “the fact that I was on her mind at all … I mean, Madonna’s … she’s Madonna. I looked up to her for a long time.” “I’m not quite sure what her intention was, but I don’t really care. All it meant to me was that Madonna Ciccone was singing my song on her stage and I’m 27!” “I think playing into the gossip of the tabloids and, I guess the fodder of the competition, that’s just not what I’m about.” “She chooses to use her voice the way she chooses to use hers,” Gaga went on, “and I choose to use mine the way I use mine.” “And as a punk-rocker from New York, I’ve basically been hoping that I would become so good that one day I would piss off Madonna!” “I truthfully believe that was nothing about those records sounding alike, and everything about this gay icon versus gay icon [is] nonsense,” she adds. “I don’t need to take anybody’s torch … I have no interest in anybody’s torch. This need for competition was everything that ‘Born This Way’ isn’t about!” Gaga has addressed her dispute with Madonna before, but has mainly said to her fans that she was trying to stay above the fray and has not offered specifics. “That doesn’t make me feel good at all,” Gaga said about tearing others down. “That just makes me feel like I’m not a good human being.” “I don’t even want to fight back because it’s more important to me to keep writing music. Brooke Mueller’s brother, Scott, has just gone to court and obtained temporary guardianship of Brooke and Charlie Sheen’s twin sons Bob and Max. This latest chapter in the ongoing, contentious saga comes after temporary guardian Denise Richards made it clear she could not continue in the role. Denise Richards: Out as Guardian of Charlie Sheen’s Kids? Denise, who was married to Charlie before he was married to Brooke (he’s now divorced from both), also has two little children fathered by the actor. Richards told the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services that she can’t handle Bob and Max because they were violent toward her daughters. Charlie has alleged that Brooke Muller is a terrible person and parent who cannot be trusted with the kids, and that the DCFS people are “doosh bags.” She has been granted a restraining order against him, which also comes with a gag order requiring that Sheen not talk about the case, as he has been. The actor will go to jail if he goes off on more rants against Brooke, who claimed she was scared for her safety given the nature of some of his tirades. Denise was awarded guardianship of the boys after Brooke was stripped of custody earlier this year. Mueller has a history of substance abuse issues. Richards has defended her ex, calling Charlie and amazing dad , and has generally supported his efforts to gain custody of the children from Brooke. It’s unclear how either feels about the new development. According to TMZ, DCFS signed off on Scott becoming guardian and he will get the kids tonight. Story developing … UPDATE : Scott is moving in with Brooke, and the kids. The judge who granted the guardianship felt it was important for the boys to stay in the same school. DCFS officials have not given Brooke full custody, but they will be living with her and not Charlie, which comes as a surprise, and a blow to the actor. The only difference is that her brother’s there now to “gradually reintroduce” her to the children. Let’s see if Sheen will abide by the gag order now …
On yesterday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the beloved talk show host surprised her favorite waitress with another token of her appreciation. Sarah Hoidahl, a waitress at Ruby Tuesday in Concord, N.H., bought a meal for furloughed officers during the government shutdown. Cost: $27.75. After that simple act of generosity went viral, Ellen had her on the program and paid her back – plus an extra $10,000 and a flat screen TV for good measure. Flash forward to this week, when the talk show host called up Hoidahl at work to surprise her with another sizable gift. Check out the footage below! We already know that Richie Incognito left Jonathan Martin a threatening voicemail on at least one occasion. We also know the Miami Dolphins offensive lineman – who has been suspended from the team for excessive hazing and bullying of a teammate – once went off on a drunken, racist rant . There is evidence to support both these claims. And now we’ve also learned that Incognito was investigated for an alleged incidence of sexual harassment during a golf tournament in May 2012. Richie Incognito/Jonathan Martin Hazing Update According to an Aventura, Florida Police Department Report, Incognito acted inappropriately with a volunteer the Turnberry Resort & Club, touching her private area with his club and emptying a water bottle in her face. The 34-year old woman told police that Incognito was clearly drunk… knocked her sunglasses off her head… and rubbed her genitals with a piece of equipment. “After that, he proceeded to lean up against her buttocks with his private parts as if dancing, saying ‘Let it rain! Let it rain!'” the report reads. “He finally finished his inappropriate behavior by emptying bottled water in her face.” Multiple witnesses allegedly witnessed these actions, but did nothing about them. The Dolphins also said they would handle the incident internally, but when nothing came of that investigation, the woman filed her police report. Incognito was suspended Sunday after Martin’s representatives turned over messages with racial slurs and threats of violence to the Dolphins and to the league.
