2 Chainz May Run For Mayor Of College Park Yeah he love them strippers voters! Right on the heels of shutting Nancy Grace down over marijuana policy and stating that he’s love to debate Bill O’Reilly, the rapper formerly known as Titi Boi has announced that he’s looking into running for mayor of his hometown College Park . Via WXIA : Could 2 Chainz be adding the title “mayor” to his resume? According to a recent interview with XXL Magazine, 2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, announced a possible future in running for mayor of his hometown, College Park. With a 4.0 GPA from Alabama State University and proven debating skills after his appearance that sparked media attention two weeks ago on HLN’s “Nancy Grace” in regards to the legalization of marijuana, he has a strong chance of being a future politician. “I’m supposed to be running for mayor in College Park. I got everybody wishing. I’m really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park,” 2 Chainz told XXL. “I’m just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications.” Even though his supporters are rooting him on, 2 Chainz wants to make sure everything he does is organic and wants to see what the future holds. Yesterday, we learned that Zooey Deschanel is pregnant with her first child. The actress described herself as “over the moon” with anticipation and she issued a statement that seemed to indicate that she and boyfriend Jacob Pechenik would be raising the child together. It’s a little strange, because Zooey and Pechenik have only been dating for a few months. But even weirder is the fact that Zooey has adamantly insisted in dozens of interviews over the years that she has zero interest in ever having children. Obviously, the actress has a right to change her mind, but the stunned fan reaction is understandable. After all, Deschanel was married to Ben Gibbard for three years and she dismissed the notion of becoming a mom every time the topic was broached by the press. Following her divorce, Zooey dated Jamie Linden for almost two years. Again, seemingly no interest in having kids. In fact, Deschanel famously seemed to get a little pissed when people brought it up and she stubbornly insisted that her focus was – and always would be – her career. “Like every woman is dying to give birth!” Zooey told Marie Claire in 2012. “I like kids, and I like being around kids, but it was never an ambition…I like working. That’s what I like doing. I like work.” As for Jacob, little is known about him (dude is basically a non-entity on social media), but he’s a producer with about 20 credits to his name and he and Zooey were first linked in August of 2014. First Cameron Diaz gets married and now Zooey is having a kid. Thank God the world still has Oprah to rep for the single ladies. Donald Sterling Pulls Out Of Holiday Fundraiser In Predominately Black Neighborhood Via TMZ : Donald Sterling pulled out of a charity toy drive in Watts Saturday night … because his security team feared for his safety in the hood with racial tensions running so high across the country. TMZ Sports broke the story — Sterling was scheduled to show up for something called the Chrismukkah Soiree “Party in the Projects.” But a rep for the ex-owner of the Clippers tells us he abruptly canceled after we posted the story. Apparently, Sterling wanted his appearance to be a surprise. We’re told his security team was worried too many people knew where he was going to be — and considering his track record with the black community … things could go south quickly. Donald’s rep says he still donated a sedan-full of toys during a Friday night event held in a much more … Sterling-safe environment — Beverly Hills. L.A. City Councilman Joe Buscaino — who reps Watts — probably didn’t help matters by coming on TMZ Live, and demanding Sterling stay away … unless he’s ready to donate much more than toys.
