The Houston Fire Department#39;s Arson Bureau has arrested and charged Lonnie Ray Henderson with impersonating a public servant, a felony charge, according to the local newspaper Sugar Land Sun. The 28-year-old man was arrested with connection to a fire on Thursday that burned 27 acres in George Bush Park in west Houston, U.S., authorities said on Friday. What part of the game is THIS??? We know some people are never going to forgive Mike Vick, but you wanna wish evil on him…COTdamn! Mark Buehrle, a Chicago White Sox pitcher and animal rights activist, does not believe Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has been fully punished for his felony conviction for bankrolling and partaking in a dogfighting ring in 2007. “He had a great year and a great comeback, but there were times where we watched the game, and I know it’s bad to say, but there were times where we hope he gets hurt,” Buehrle told MLB.com in a recent interview. “Everything you’ve done to these dogs, something bad needs to happen to these guys.” The story, which was published on Wednesday, centered around the animal rights work Buehrle does with wife Jamie. Sometime after being posted, the comments were edited out of the text and a note was attached: “This story was not subject to the approval of Major League Baseball or its clubs.” The writer, Scott Merkin, also posted the quotes on his Twitter account, but the tweets were later deleted. Chris Brown Wants Rihanna Restraining Order Lifted

Chris Brown is looking to get the restraining order against him lifted. It’s been in place since he pummeled Rihanna senseless prior to the 2009 Grammys. His lawyer, Mark Geragos, told Judge Patricia Schnegg that Brown did 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling and requested that the order be lifted . “It makes it difficult at award shows and such,” Geragos said. GOOD DAYS : Now other guys take and leak Rihanna topless pics . Shame . Judge Schnegg did not immediately grant his request but did suggest a modification of it, pending the approval of Rihanna’s attorney, David Etra. The decision to modify the restraining order will be filed in court at a later date. The judge did praise Brown again for his commitment, however. In fact, she was so pleased, she told Brown that he can come in “next time you’re in town” instead of scheduling a future progress report hearing. To date, Brown has done 581 hours of community labor and domestic violence counseling. Aside from the occasional Raz B feud , he’s been great. He remains on probation through mid-2014.

Joe Scarborough apparently likes Nancy Pelosi's toughness, given her response to his MSNBC colleague pressing her as to why she would make a good House Minority Leader after losing 60 seats. MSNBC's Luke Russert asked the Speaker why she should lead the House Democrats if her approval rating among independents is at 8 percent. Pelosi delivered a testy response, and Scarborough admitted his glee over the tone. “I think she's a disaster for the Democrats politically right now…but I like that fight,” he remarked. “C'mon, boom!” he expressed as he threw imaginary punches, pretending to be Pelosi punching down Russert. “Hey Luke, come here, Luke, look, boom! Luke, look, look, boom!” Later on Thursday's “Morning Joe,” Scarborough was pressed by Times columnist Andrew Ross Sorkin as to why he was praising such a polarizing figure when he has promoted a platform of bipartisanship and moderate politics. The “Morning Joe” co-host has conducted multiple campaigns on his own show for calmer rhetoric in the country's political sphere and has denounced political extremism.

It’s been a rumor for months, but it’s now an official Royal announcement: Kate Middleton and Prince William are engaged. The two have been together for years, with a couple brief break-ups along the way. Already regulars in the pages of supermarket tabloids , Kate and William can expect even more coverage as they move toward a wedding that’s scheduled to take place some time in 2011. Ahead for Kate Middleton and Prince William: love, marriage… and $20 billion . William proposed during a vacation in Kenya last month. He has informed the Queen of his intentions and also sought permission from Middleton’s father. In part, the official statement by Great Britain reads: The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton. The wedding will take place in the Spring or Summer of 2011, in London. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course. Following the marriage, the couple will live in north Wales, where Prince William will continue to serve with the Royal Air Force.

Because the only thing that can sink the box office potential of a movie faster than negative reviews is negative reviews from a niche audience of demographically friendly fans who will see the movie anyway.
