My name is Belen and I’m from Uruguay. I’ve always…

My name is Belen and I’m from Uruguay. I’ve always wanted to go to a Justin Bieber concert and I always said that when Justin came to Argentina I would go to his show. I saved money to get front row tickets, I saved for over 1 year. I was planning on going with a friend of mine that is a huge fan too. I became a member of BieberFever so I could buy pre-sale tickets and maybe try to win meets & greets, but when they announced when tickets would go on sale, my friend said she wouldn’t come with me, so I ended up with no tickets. I was honestly devastated, it was my dream to go to one of his concerts and I even had saved enough money to buy front row tickets. One day my friend (that was coming to the show with me but cancelled) called me and told me she was going to see Justin with her mother, she had family in Argentina and they had bought those 2 tickets. I couldnt believe it, she was going with her mum and I wasn’t going, I felt so betrayed. So I didn’t know I was going to his concert until a few days before the show! I saw that a company was selling tickets for the 2nd date in Argentina. They were expensive but I really wanted to get them, it was my chance! I asked my mum but again I didn’t have anyone to come with me. I asked my cousin (30 years old) and she said she would ask her boss. I had written a rap with a friend for Justin a few months before, so I decided I would record myself rapping it and send it to BieberFever to try to win meets & greets. My cousin called me and told me she would come with me to the show! I started crying, I called my dad to tell him to buy the tickets as soon as possible, I called my brothers, my mum my friends, everyone! The show was in less than a week! My parents book a hotel room (the cheapest of course, just for 1 night), the buquebus and the tickets. All of this 3 days before the show.. it was crazy! I then saw I had an email from BieberFever. I opened it and it said that I HAD WON MEETS & GREETS to meet Justin! The next day I woke up at 6am to take the ship to go to Argentina with my cousin. When we were waiting in line for the m&g, everyone was freaking out and crying before getting in, but I was relaxed. I couldn’t believe I was going to meet my idol in a few minutes. I then saw ALFREDO FLORES walking past us and everyone said hi but didn’t pay him much attention. I wanted to actually talk to him, so I waited for him to come back and I walked up to him and told him I was from Uruguay. I asked him for a picture he said of course. Then it was time.  THERE HE WAS, MY IDOL, JUSTIN BIEBER, TOUCHING HIS HAIR AND LOOKING HOT. I hugged him and he kissed my cheek. I told him I had written a rap for him and he looked at me and said, “REALLY? THANK YOU SO MUCH”. I gave it to him and a letter I had written for him and he put it in his back pocket of his jeans. Kenny told us to look to the camera and smile (I was already smiling obviously) Then Justin told us, “THANK YOU SO MUCH, ENJOY THE SHOW!” I hugged him and we had to leave , as soon as I left the room I started shaking and crying. I couldn’t believe that had just happened. I waited ousite for the rest of the girls to finish and Alfredo was filming/taking pictures of me while I was crying . I hid my face cause it was embarrassing so he HUGGED me, he was so cute! The show was AMAZING, Justin killed it! To conclude, October 13th 2011 was the best day of my life.  More: My name is Belen and I’m from Uruguay. I’ve always…

I went to Radio Disney and I found out Justin would be there on…

I went to Radio Disney and I found out Justin would be there on Monday to promote Boyfriend! I was stoked to get a chance to meet him especially since Radio Disney is in Burbank, CA by my mom’s work.  Fast forward to Monday, I went to my home school session but this time it was particularly hard to focus taking an english test. My phone kept buzzing with Justin’s tweets. Right after it ended, we drove to Burbank. My mom went into a shop so I decided to call Radio Disney offices and found out he was already there ! I begged my mom and she rushed as fast as she could to get there. We got to the studio and I saw girls so I figured he hadn’t left yet! I was becoming anxious of meeting Justin because this time to the line up of things I’ve done for him, I wrote a song and posted it on YouTube and I had so much to tell him. About 1 hour after waiting, he came out of the station and there he was talking to Shelby, I was so nervous but I had to try. I lightly tapped him and poked him o n the shoulder and gave him the Bieber dictionary I made him. He did this cute hug thing to it, then I asked him for a picture but since my mom was taking it, it didn’t come out. So he took a picture with another girl and I had to ask him for another one. While we were taking our picture, I told him about how I’d been waiting to give him the dictionary face to face since 2010 and he was like, “Really?” and I was like, “Yeah and you don’t even follow me on Twitter,” and he was like, “What’s your twitter” and was getting ready to pull his phone out and follow me! I was like it’s in there and I pointed to the dictionary. Then I put my hand out and I was like, “Promise me you’ll follow me on Twitter?” And he took my hand and looked me in the eyes and was like “I promise” and I was like and, “You’ll read my letter?” And he said, “..and I’ll read your letter!” I can honestly say it was all worth it, all the times HATERS told me I’d never meet Justin again, or being a belieber is just a waste of time. They were all wrong. Justin if your reading this, thank you, for giving me the strength to believe in my dreams again, and I truly hope someday well sing together. You’re my inspiration, my role model, and a big influence on my life! By the way you never followed me lol.  To all the Beliebers reading this NEVER SAY NEVER! -@ BieberinLa95 Song I wrote for Justin The rest is here: I went to Radio Disney and I found out Justin would be there on…

For The Ladies: Top 10 Cities With The World’s Best-Looking Men

Might be time to get that passport ladies… For most people, good-looking men don’t normally qualify as a tourist attraction. But that could all change thanks to Traveler’s Digest and their newly-published list of where the world’s hottest men call home. While the magazine doesn’t give much detail about their choices, they do assure readers that the selection process was based entirely on a woman’s perspective. We’re not sure which woman, but we hope she didn’t bring home any permanent souvenirs. So pack your bags, lady travelers, and declare your independence from the tired, wack man crop in your neck of the woods. After all, mingling with the natives technically counts as a cultural experience worthy of more than just a notch on the bedpost.

My name is Pilar. I’m 16 from Argentina. My First Bieber…

My name is Pilar. I’m 16 from Argentina . My First Bieber Experience happened when Justin followed me the 25 of May.  My Second Bieber Experience started on October 9 2011, when I received an email in which Universal Music Argentina told me I was the Meet and Greet winner! I immediately called my BFF and told her we had won! Right after I called her, she came to my house and we started screaming and crying together! The 12th of October finally arrived (the concert and the meet and greet day) and we were so excited and nervous! It was 5pm when we arrived outside the stadium and we met the Universal Music Argentina’s assistant who took us to the M&G line. A couple of hours went by until the M&G line finally started moving on. When our turn came, we entered the room and  the first person we saw was KENNY and I started shouting, “OMG KEEEEENNY, KENNY I LOVE U, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING YOU’VE DONE FOR JUSTIN”, and he smiled and hugged me and I hugged him back! Then he told me, “Okay sweetheart, you have to go over there.” And then I saw HIM… there HE was, JUSTIN BIEBER, right in front of me, smiling. I truly thought he was just a stand up figure. I actually stared at him for like 10 seconds! I just couldn’t believe it! My BFF was the first one to hug him! Then I looked at him and I said, “I LOVE U JUSTIN, I REALLY DO” and I hugged him and he hugged me back , and let me tell you, Justin’s hugs are the best ones in the entire world! After we hugged, a woman shouted, “1,2,3…” and she took the picture! After the picture, I looked him in the eyes and I told him, “Justin, this is for you”. I gave him the Argentina T-shirt I’ve bought for him, and he looked at me and with a really big and amazing smile (that only heaven can make). He said, “Aw for me? Gracias!” I was like OMG, he actually spoke to me and said GRACIAS! Kenny took us to the room exit, and I started crying SO HARD and I fell to the floor! I just couldn’t keep myself composed. I knew that, this was an experience I would never ever forget!  I also met Alfredo and he is such a sweetheart . The concert started and there it comes, my third Bieber Experience. In the middle of the concert, Justin was singing Favorite Girl and I was singing and screaming like an idiot but I didn’t care at all, I was having such an amazing time! Then a blonde woman and a black tall guy stood right in front of me, the blond woman caught my attention. I stopped singing and listened to her. She finally asked me, “QUERES SER LA ONE LESS LONELY GIRL?” (Do you want to be the OLLG?) I swear, I couldn’t believe it, I mean, OH-MY-GOD! I started screaming, “YES YES, PLEASE, OMG YES!!!!” This was the best thing that’s ever happened to me! But then a bunch of girls behind me started crying, pushing and screaming, so a police man came and shouted us, “YOU GIRLS, CALM DOWN NOW!” Then in all this trouble, the blond lady told the black guy to take me away, but the black guy took my BFF instead, not me, and he took her to the stage! She ended up being the Argentina OLLG! At first I was SO sad and upset, but then I realized it was my BFF who was there in the stage! I thanked God for this opportunity he gave to my BFF and I started singing and filming her!  She came back, and we hugged each other so hard, and we cried together! I love her, and she deserved this so much!  Well… this was my BIEBER EXPERIENCE. I truly thought the chances of meeting Justin and also to been asked to be the OLLG were million to one. I’m from Argentina and I thought it was impossible for me to meet him but my dream came true. Dear Beliebers YOU WILL MEET HIM! JUST KEEP TRYING HARD and well… NEVER SAY NEVER   -@AwwBieberFever  Here is the video of my BFF as the OLLG! Here is the original post: My name is Pilar. Merry Christmas! Here’s An Alternative Lady Christmas Songlist

Yeah, I can’t get over Rooney Mara’s Dragon Tattoo getup. It’s so… dated? Swedish? Remarkably cliche? And yet entrancing? Anyway, it has alternative connotations, and that brings me to Movieline’s Christmas indulgence of the day: alternative women covers of yuletide classics. I couldn’t find an embed of Liz Phair’s recent “Baby It’s Cold Outside” cover with the band Wheat, please consider that the unofficial sixth entry on this list. Take us to the Grinch, Aimee Mann! The glorious and still-somehow-underrated Aimee Mann’s superior Christmas disc One More Drifter in the Snow contains a bunch of amazing covers, but the gnarliest one has got to be “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.” Super droll, winking, and cool. As always for the Oscar-nominated Mann. Sinead O’Connor, perhaps the single most poignant voice of the past 25 years, has covered “Ode to Billie Joe,””Chiquitita,” and “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina” with great success, but I’m particularly partial to her version of “Silent Night.” It’s the perfect forum for her childlike, yet commanding tone. Kate Bush. There is no other Kate Bush. In this ’79 Christmas special, she woos you with that ethereal voice that trilled about the plight of Cathy and Heathcliff in “Wuthering Heights.” Now that every hipster in sight waits eagerly for her new releases, acquaint yourself with the kooky wraith we first met on The Kick Inside . Tori Amos is an obvious heir to Kate Bush’s legacy of cooing vulnerability and mystical lyrics, but her cover skills are pretty singular. Check out her live versions of “Father Figure” and “Like a Prayer” for maximum intimacy, but this Christmas jam is also sufficient. Patti Smith’s brief cover of “White Christmas” is lovely. Since you presumably already know her covers of “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “Rolling in the Deep,” you’ll be refreshed to find tiny version of Irving Berlin’s classic.

On Tuesday night I arrived in Madrid and went to sleep with…

On Tuesday night I arrived in Madrid and went to sleep with friends at the airport.  Even knowing that Justin would not come until Friday morning, I could not move from there.  Many Beliebers waited too, but they eventually came out the other terminal.  In the afternoon, meets & greets were at the hotel, so everyone knew about it and went.  From a distance, we saw a wave of screaming girls and we joined them.  I sat with my friends by the back door and up the street we saw Alfredo Flores. He stood with everyone, took pictures and everyone was smiling.  I told him I was from Argentina. M ore and more people entered the hotel, next was Dan Kanter and Justin’s teacher. I became more convinced that Justin was inside.   All of a sudden all you could hear was, “Justin!  Justin”, and there he was, next to Kenny, waving from the glass, with a grayish, brown jersey and a beautiful smile .  I do not know how many people were there, but all thought the same.  A crowd ran down to the garage door where there were guards and police.  You could see Justin in the third car with a hood on.  Everyone left but my friend and I stayed at the hotel where we spent the coldest night of history .  In the morning, we saw the white-haired bodyguard of Justin’s. I cried, ran and gave him a hug, we took a picture and he talked with us.  He told us that Justin was asleep. I could not stop to mourn.  He offered us something hot to drink and went out and talked to us .  It started to dawn and three vans parked in front of the hotel.  My heart was racing and all were very nervous.  As they put the bags inside, people of Justin’s team came down for breakfast.  Dan Kanter signed a page in my book.  Alfredo Flores took a picture with us, same with Carin, Scooter’s girlfriend. M y friend, Alfredo and I began to sing, “With you, shawty with you” and we laughed.  He told me he loved Argentina and we hugged.  We took more pictures. The people left inside were  Justin and Selena.  The gentle, white-haired bodyguard, came out and gave us good morning smile.  Each time we were closer and more nervous at a time. The elevator began to descend from the third floor letting us see a suitcase, and legs of a girl.  Selena and Justin.  When they saw us, Justin put his hood and told Selena that awaited him in the car.  I would think we were hated or something. She  put her hands in her pockets, looking down the car & walked faster.  I called her name, she looked up surprised and I hugged her, I told her I love her and she thanked me, smiling.  I saw that Justin took off his hood not seeing paparazzi and went to the van by us . I called out his name and we took a picture.  He was happy after seeing Selena wanted to, he could not stop smiling.  Selena signed my book.  Justin asked me if I had seen him before. I asked him if he remembered me, he said yes.  I screamed, I cried, I jumped to the ground. We took a group picture because he was  late . I was going to stand by his side, but I let a friend of mine do so because she had never seen him.  He went into the van and the couple sent us kisses, and finally they were off.  Thank you for the   opportunity   to see you again   because dreams   are fulfilled   and not just   once. – @tgvaleen Here is our video with Alfredo Read the original: On Tuesday night I arrived in Madrid and went to sleep with…

‘X Factor’: Melanie Amaro Stands Out As Five Go Home

First live episode whittles pool down to 12 finalists. By Adam Graham Melanie Amaro performs on ‘X Factor’ Photo: FOX Five contestants were shown the door on Tuesday’s “X Factor,” the first live episode of the singing competition. Among those sent away during the two-and-a-half-hour episode was Dexter Haygood, the formerly homeless contestant who once lived on L.A.’s Skid Row. Haygood — described early on as the “funky phenomenon” by his mentor Nicole Scherzinger — said he was “kinda confused” by the dismissal, which followed his bizarro-world mash-up of Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” and Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl,” though he then said he didn’t know why he was confused. “Right now I’m in the boggle zone, which is the 21st century twilight zone,” Haygood explained. Also sent packing during the episode were 20-year-old Tiah Tolliver, a favorite of Simon Cowell’s who was never liked by the other judges; 22-year-old Simone Battle, who plugged her upcoming music video even as she was being given the boot; crooner Phillip Lomax, the 22-year-old who was saddled with singing the outside-of-his-comfort-zone “I’m a Believer” on the episode by his mentor L.A. Reid; and brother duo the Brewer Boys, who apologized to their mentor Paula Abdul (older brother Justin referred to her as “Ms. Paula”) for letting her down in their performance. That left 12 finalists who will go on in the competition:
