Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson: Engaged! Yes, Already!

Pete Davidson has a message for those who thought he was moving quickly upon getting two Ariana Grande-themed tattoos after dating the singer for just a couple weeks: Oh yeah?!? Check THIS out! As if the aforementioned decision by Davidson did not seem rash enough, an insider now tells Us Weekly that the artist and the Saturday Night Live cast member are engaged. Yes, engaged . To be married! “They are a perfect fit,” this source tells the tabloid , confirming that the stars have agreed to become husband and wife, yet are not hurrying to rush their vows or anything: “They are not rushing to get married. Their friends are really excited and supportive.” We find that a tad hard to believe. Only because Davidson and Grande have been dating for about as long as the Cleveland Cavaliers had a chance of defeating the Golden State Warriors in this year’s NBA Finals. Word of a romance between the singer and the comedian only first went public on May 21, mere days after Grande announced her split from Mac Miller , her boyfriend of nearly two years. That means Grande and Davidson have gotten engaged after less than a month of dating. Yes, they’ve shared a handful of photos of each other on social media. But we’re not sure that means the relationship is built to last for all of eternity. Still, a second source backs up the first Us Weekly source, alleging the couple “were telling people that they’re engaged” at Robert Pattinson’s birthday party in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 9. Writes the magazine on its official website: “They are both constantly making each other laugh. Their moms have met. They’ve been very public with their relationship on social media, and they are very in love.” Heck, Us Weekly even quotes a THIRD source in its story, one who says the following: “They are looking forward to a very long engagement together.” That’s an odd way of framing it, isn’t it? Most people would say they are looking forward to a very long marriage to their partner. But while we have our doubts about the future of this couple, we’d be thrilled to be proven wrong. We’re all for young, mindless and intense love between two people. We’ll be among the first to buy Pete and Ariana a wedding gift if we receive an invite to their big day. The thing is, ABC Family has run Harry Potter marathons that have run longer than this romance, so you’ll understand if we’re a bit reticient to check out any registries just yet. What do YOU think? Will Grande and Davidson make it down the aisle? Or is there a better chance that Blac Chyna reconciles tomorrow with Rob Kardashian?

Journalist Slams Anthony Bourdain as "Gaping Assh-le," Gets Savaged on Twitter

The name David Leavitt might not be familiar to you, but there’s a very good chance you’ve seen his awful attempts at humor or insight clogging up your social media feeds. Many people first became aware of Leavitt when he famously thought the correct way to respond to news of the Manchester bombing that claimed 22 lives was to make jokes at the expense of Ariana Grande . “MULTIPLE CONFIRMED FATALITIES at Manchester Arena,” Leavitt tweeted. “The last time I listened to Ariana Grande I almost died too.” And folks, the rib-ticklers didn’t end there. In response to criticism, Leavitt decided to keep his “dad-joke night in the Catskills” routine going by tweeting: “Honestly, for over a year, I thought an Ariana Grande was something you ordered from Starbucks.” Leavitt was swiftly and rightly roasted to a crisp on that memorable occasion, and while most people would’ve taken their licks and happily limped back into obscurity, it seems Dave has fallen in love with his new career as a professional troll. As you’ve likely heard by now, the world awoke today to news that beloved chef, writer, and television personality Anthony Bourdain passed away . It’s difficult to think of an international celebrity who cultivated such an intimate relationship with his fans, and millions are mourning a death that feels much more personal than the passing of most public figures. So leave it to Leavitt to solidify his reputation as the world’s most tone-deaf dumbass by thinking today would be a good day to settle his long-simmering feud with Bourdain. In the wake of the Manchester incident, Bourdain was one of thousands who pointed out to Leavitt that he’s the very worst kind of person. “You, sir, are truly a steaming, gaping,” Bourdain tweeted with his trademark candor. When Anthony Bourdain describes you as a piece of anatomy he wouldn’t eat on the Mekong Delta in front of a camera crew, you know you effed up, and it seems Leavitt really took the insult to heart. “Selfishly taking your own life and hurting your friends and family makes you the steaming, gaping asshole Anthony Bourdain,” Leavitt tweeted this afternoon. He then doubled down by casusally informing his followers that Bourdain is burning in hell: “You don’t go to heaven when you kill yourself. It’s incredibly selfish. Don’t do it,” he tweeted, adding: “If you’re religious, then you believe there’s a special place in hell or purgatory for people like Anthony Bourdain who take their own lives.” Leavitt then attempted to score points on Kate Spade’s suicide , accusing the late designer of courting depression by chasing “material goods and ego boosts.” After being ratioed within an inch of his life and losing over 1,000 followers in an hour, Leavitt attempted to backtrack and play the old “actually, I’m more affected by this tragedy than you are” card. “A couple close friends have taken their lives,” he tweeted. “That’s why I’m opinionated on this.” It’s hard to know what to say when a life as big and bold as Anthony Bourdain’s ends in such a tragic fashion, so we’ll just encourage you to call the National Suicide Prevention hotline at 1-800-273-8255 if you’re plagued by thoughts of self-harm. Now I am not saying that she definitely had work done, but there is a massive difference in appearance. Only way we will know for sure is when she has kids herself and how they turn out.

Jax Taylor: I’m Finally Gonna Kick James Kennedy’s Ass!

Over the past two seasons of Vanderpump Rules viewers witnessed two very perplexing inverse trends: For some reason, as James Kennedy’s behavior became even more deplorable, he somehow came to enjoy greater popularity with his castmates. For the third season in a row, Kennedy behaved abusively toward women, disrespected his relationship with his long-suffering girlfriend, forced unwanted advances on a female friend who’s made it very clear that she has no interest in him romantically, and of course, stabbed his “friends” in the back as part of his never-ending quest for more screentime. The situation was so bad that by midseason, fans were calling for Kennedy to be fired from the show. And yet, not only is he still an employee of both Bravo and Lisa Vanderpump, he’s been rewarded for his behavior with increased popularity among his older co-stars, who should really know better. All season, viewers have been warning the rest of the cast that James is sure to eventually remind them of why he was kept at arms’ length for so long, but for whatever reason, they ignored the pleas for sanity. As a result, on the Vanderpump reunion finale that aired last night, James was on good terms with the entire cast – except for Lala Kent, whom he sent running from the stage in tears. Of course, the reunion was taped several weeks ago, and change is the only constant in the lives of WeHo’s drunkest posse of ex-models. So it should come as no surprise that Jax Taylor has since seen the light and once again considers James his mortal enemy. As you may recall, the show’s latest season began with the revelation that Jax cheated on Brittany Cartwright with Faith Stowers. In the months that followed, Jax and Brittany worked hard to save their relationship, and recently, their reborn love was tested and strengthened by the death of Taylor’s father . So you can see why Jax’s infidelity might not be the couple’s favorite topic of conversation. And yet knowing all that, James decided to sing a song about it the incident in front of a packed club. “I had many one too many of the Pumptinis last night and I brought up the whole Faith thing again… over the mic,” Kennedy said during a recent podcast interview. “I was just like, ‘Oh hey, you banged Faith, remember?’ I just reminded everyone and I didn’t know Brittany was in the room at the time.” At that point, Tom Sandoval interjected and pointed out that that version of events is a bit too charitable to James: “I heard that you were like, ‘Jax and Faith! Jax and Faith!’” Sandoval said. “If Scheana said that, then maybe I did that… maybe. But I apologized this morning. I said, ‘I’m sorry’ to Jax. He’s still very angry with me,” James said, adding: “I made a little mistake last night. Perfect timing since filming starts in two weeks. I must say. You gotta keep it spicy somehow!”  Of course, what James calls “spicy” others might call “the further victimization of a woman who’s already endured a tremendously difficult year.” We bet you can guess which category Jax falls into: “Brittany went in to go see him and say hi Tuesday night at SUR. He literally gave her a hug, she walked maybe four feet away, and he started rapping a song called Jax and Faith. And Brittany started bawling her eyes out,” Jax revealed on a different podcast. “Crying, embarrassed in front of everybody at SUR and she had to be escorted out. She was literally mortified.” He added: “How could you do that to somebody and literally look her in the face and start rapping about this? It’s on, and sh*t’s going to come out about you, and I’m not going to hold back.” As you can see, Jax has been tweeting about the incident in such a way that’s led fans to the conclusion that he’s planning to finally unleash the ass-whupping that James so richly deserves. When one Twitter user implored Jax to relax and reminded him that James isn’t worth going to jail for, Taylor replied, simply: “Yes, he is.” So it’s bad news for James, who may not have much time left on this earth. Ariana Grande Pens Beautiful Tribute on Manchester Bombing Anniversary

Tuesday was the one year anniversary of the May 22 Manchester Arena bombing that left twenty-three people dead and hundreds wounded. Ariana Grande had already performed a powerful trubute to the victims and her fellow survivors just two days earlier. To mark the anniversary, she sent out a much more direct message. Ariana tweeted from the heart, writing: “Thinking of you all today and every day.” Here she included a bee emoji, or  beemoji . The bee is the symbol of Manchester. “I love you with all of me.” She is so good and so pure. “And am sending you all of the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day” There is no easy or perfect way to address a tragic terrorist bombing that left dozens of children injured or dead. Some would just put up an image in memory of the fallen and of the shattered lives. After all, there are situations for which words fail. Others would pen a miniature essay, hoping that if they say enough, they can somehow live up to the gravity of the anniversary that they are mourning. But Ariana kept her tweet short and simple. She said what she needed to say. Besides, she had already said so much in a recent interview. Last week, Ariana spoke to Time . “There are so many people who have suffered such loss and pain. The processing part is going to take forever.” Trauma can last a lifetime. “Music is supposed to be the safest thing in the world.” She is so sweet. “I think that’s why it’s still so heavy on my heart every single day.” Remember, she’s a fellow survivor of that terrible suicide bomber’s attack. “I wish there was more that I could fix. You think with time it’ll become easier to talk about. Or you’ll make peace with it.” We know that it might sound fake, but recovery from trauma is possible. But it takes time. “But every day I wait for that peace to come and it’s still very painful.” Earlier this month, Ariana and Mac Miller broke up . That is not in any way comparable to the trauma of surviving a terrorist attack, but that has to be on her mind, too. However … she may have a distraction from her last relationship. In the form of her new relationship. According to People’ s report, they have been able to confirm that Ariana is casually dating Pete Davidson . Pete is part of the cast of Saturday Night Live . In fact, when he joined, he was the youngest person ever cast on SNL . He is also frequently brought up in internet arguments about which person on SNL is the most attractive, though he, like everyone else, generally loses to Kate McKinnon. According to the reports, Ariana and Pete’s relationship has “just started.” And it is said that “it’s very casual.” The two were even spotted togther at the Billboard Music Awards. “After Ariana’s performance, they were backstage and he had his arm around her.” Awww! “They seemed very lovey-dovey. He was hanging out with her and her friends with his arm around her. She seemed quite smitten.” This sounds so cute. Ariana Grande deserves good things. Ariana Grande: Watch Her Powerful Performance From the BMAs

As you will see in the video that we've included, the spectacular Ariana Grande put on a gorgeous performance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. It was a bittersweet performance, just two days before the 1-year anniversary of the Manchester Arena Bombing. “No Tears Left To Cry” is Ariana's first single since last year's devastating terrorist attack with an explosive device. Ultimately, 22 lives were lost to the terrorist's bomb. And over 500 innocents were injured. Even those who evaded physical harm, who fled or were ushered out — Ariana's own mother, Joan Grande, reportedly urged dozens of audience-goers to come with her to safety in case there were multiple devices — were victims of the device. And so were the families and loved ones of those who died. Terrorism exacts an appalling toll. This kind of deadly tragedy transforms lives for the worst. But Ariana has been outspoken and adamant that she not allow that kind of creeping evil to snuff out joy or hope, and she will continue to tour. Ariana's performance itself, as you can see for yourself in the video that we have included, was a tasteful blend of optimism and art with somber reminders of the May 22 bombing. At one point, she is lifted up into the air by a rising pillar, but her skillful backup dancers use their umbrella props to give the appearance that she is resting solely on their umbrellas. (We haven't enjoyed a performance featuring umbrellas this much since Tom Holland's lip sync performance in 2017; well done, Ariana) The bee, which is the symbol of Manchester, even makes an appearance during the show. Ariana really knows how to illustrate how to move forward even as you grieve. Ariana seemed to dedicate a lot of time in 2017 to self-care. She was also in a relationship that year, but Ariana and Mac Miller are over . Very appropriate, under the circumstances. She had to recover, just like everyone else. Perhaps more so, as she may have felt a misplaced sense of guilt. In contrast, she was something of a social media ghost during the first few months of 2018. Then, Ariana began to tweet with upside-down letters, hinting that new music would soon be coming. That music came in the form of “No Tears Left To Cry,” a beautiful and powerful stand-alone single that continues to receive acclaim. (We should note that, technically, it's only a stand-alone single for now — it may be part of an EP or a full length album later down the road) Ariana was a natural choice to begin the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. Janet Jackson won the ICON Award and generally owned at the awards show. It's what she deserves. Ed Sheeran won Top Artist. … Okay. Top New Arist went to Khalid. The Billboard Chart Achievement Award went to Camila Cabello. Top Male Artist went to Ed Sheeran. Top Female Artist went to Taylor Swift, which makes sense — she had the best-selling album of 2017. Top Duo/Group went to Imagine Dragons. Top Billboard 200 Artist went to Drake. Top Hot 100 Artist went to Ed Sheeran. These awards are based upon streaming and sales, so don't blame Billboard that his name keeps popping up. Top Social Artist went to BTS. Top R&B Artist went to Bruno Mars. Top Rap Artist went to Kendrick Lamar. Top Country Artist went to Chris Stapleton. Top Rock Artist went to Imagine Dragons, so Sheeran wasn't the only name that kept cropping up. Top Billboard 200 Album was Damn by Kendrick Lamar. As we mentioned, the Top Selling Album was Reputation by Taylor Swift. The Top Hot 100 Song was “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee ft. Justin Bieber. “Despacito” was also the top selling song. That makes sense — it was arguably 2017's “song of the summer.”

Sources tell BOSSIP exclusively that Grande is now dating SNL actor Pete Davidson , who ironically just announced his own split, from Larry David’s daughter Cazzie in an interview on Peter Rosenberg’s Complex show “Open Late” that aired just last night. “We’re not together anymore,” Davidson told Rosenberg. “Very talented girl, she’ll be great and she’ll be fine. Yeah, I think she’ll be okay.” When Rosenberg asked if Davidson, 24, will be alright following the split, the star simply said, “Yeah, probably.” Bet ya will Pete… We find it rather interesting that he didn’t say when the split happened. Ironically Cazzie posted this just two weeks ago: It will be interesting if Ariana shows up at “SNL” Saturday… She was in Nicki Minaj’s rehearsal post comments yesterday and Nicki asked her to come to the show. Now it seems like she’s got multiple reasons to be there! Wonder if Pete will join Ari for the Billboard Awards Sunday? Do you think Ariana moves too fast or is that just the way love goes?
