SO ANYWAY, my phone started ringing, I pick it up and I was like “Hello?” then I hear “Hannah? ” so I was like “Who is it?” (my phone is really quiet, and he sounds SO different on the phone!) “It’s Justin” so I said “It’s Justin?!” Then when he said “It’s Justin Bieber” MY WHOLE BODY STARTED SHAKING.. was this really him? I freaked out & asked him if he was joking, he said “It’s Justin, can’t you tell by my voice?” Then it really hit me that JUSTIN BIEBER WAS TALKING TO ME ON THE PHONE. I jumped out of my seat and tried to keep calm, I tensed up my whole body because I knew I’d only have a couple of minutes and I couldn’t blow this one opportunity to talk to him. He asked me a couple things and he knew where I was from, and my age, we talked about school, his new songs, Dan Kanter, my mum(lol) ..he asked me what my favourite song was out of ‘All Around The World’ or ‘Die In Your Arms’, I said Die In Your Arms. I told him that I love ‘Turn To You.’ At one point I told him, “I’m so excited to be talking to you,” he was like, “Aww your excited to talk to me?” ..HE SAID AWW TO ME. I’ve always loved how he says aww to other fans. Then he just said it to me, how was I still breathing? And yes Justin, of course I am excited to talk to you! :’) THEN THE BEST PART OF IT WAS WHEN HE SAID TO ME: “I love you!” I replied with “I love you so much!” He said “I love you, thank you for being my Biggest Fan!” The fact that he called me his biggest fan made me feel so special, my 3 years of endless support have been noticed, I told him random things like that I was going to camp out for Believe tickets with my mum haha.. then he had to go. When he put the phone down, I literally collapsed to the ground screaming..it didn’t seem real, all I could hear going through my mind was Justin telling me he loved me. UNREAL. I called my mum to tell her all about it but I couldn’t even speak, I was CRYING hysterically down the phone, I couldn’t stand up straight. She thought something real bad had happened to me then I managed to squeel out what had just happened, she freaked out too. Then the radio station called me back about 30 minutes later, to talk to me about how I was feeling . By now, I was totally freaking out, everything was slowly sinking in. When Justin called me, my whole mind went blank. I’d planned what I’d say to him if I ever met him but I completely forgot everything. It was an amazing experience. I honestly spent the whole day shaking and crying, I felt like I hadn’t slept for days from so much jumping around and crying. I had to run up and down the stairs a couple of times to calm myself down. Imagine answering the phone and it’s your idol. Wow. IT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE, seriously, NEVER SAY NEVER! Never give up on your dreams. Thank you so so so much to Justin for taking the time to phone me, it’s made my life complete! My name is Alice, I’m 16 turning 17 and I live in Brisbane, Australia. Let me start by saying I’ve never won any amazing prizes before. Before this event, I was convinced I had the worst luck ever. On 26 th June, 2012, I received an email informing me that I had won a Meet and Greet with Justin . I couldn’t believe it, so I called Universal Music to double check and when JB Hi-Fi announced it on their Twitter, that’s when it hit me. Finally I was going to meet my idol after dreaming (literally) about meeting him countless times! Days and nights of excitement and joy passed by and the 17 th of July, 2012 finally arrived. I boarded the plane to Sydney knowing I was meeting my idol in a few hours. After checking in at the hotel, my sister and I went to the meet up location for the secret show Channel V was hosting. I met so many amazing beliebers there, like Marie and Amelia (@BornToSing17); we were all so excited, people were crying, screaming and hyperventilating. After what seemed like forever, we collected our wristbands and got driven to the secret location. When Justin came on stage, I kept thinking “IS THIS REAL LIFE? IS THAT REALLY JUSTIN BIEBER?” He performed Baby, ALAYLM, Die In Your Arms, AATW, Be Alright, Boyfriend (Bluesy version) and Catching feelin gs for the first time ever live! I remember crying when he sang “Be Alright,” it’s my favourite song from the album and I couldn’t believe I was hearing Justin sing it live, less than 2 meters away from me . All I can say is that losing my voice was so worth it. Justin sounded absolutely amazing and Dan played the guitar perfectly. After the show, the majority of the crowd had to leave and people with blue wristbands were allowed to stay for the meet and greet. My heart dropped when they told us we couldn’t ask for any autographs and that we were only getting group photos taken. I felt so disappointed knowing that I couldn’t get an individual photo and that I won’t have any time to speak to Justin. But our time came, I ran up to him and he gave me the best hug ever. He said to me something along the lines of, “H ey sweetie, how are you?” and “It’s a pleasure to meet you” I couldn’t even respond to him because everyone was rushing, but he had his arms around me for the photo and it was the most amazing 30 seconds of my life. Everything was really rushed so I quickly got another hug before security told us we had to leave. I finally understand why so many beliebers say that he gives the best hugs ever. The next morning, we went to see Justin perform on Sunrise at 5am which was also perfect. He smelt amazing, looked flawless, sounded perfect and was just so, so sweet. You can tell he was genuinely happy to be there for his beliebers. I still can’t believe I was physically next to Justin jus t yesterday, b ut what can I say.. Never Say Never, right? For those who have yet to meet him, just dream big and believe; I promise you’ll meet him one day and it’s going to be worth the wait. And Justin, if you’re reading this, I hope you read my letter (all the beliebers gave everything to the girl collecting gifts when we were in line for the m&g!) and I promise I’ll be there when you come back to Australia for BELIEVE. I’m Dani, I’m 14 years old and I’ve been a Belieber for almost 4 years. I NEVER thought I would be writing my own Bieber Experience. This last years I’ve tried every Belieber’s dream.. meet Justin. Justin was coming to Mexico for a free show. I entered lots of concerts but I didn’t win one. I wanted to meet Justin so badly. I knew it was going to be impossible but I was inspired the whole Sunday. I spent it trying to make #JustinMeetDani a TT. It didn’t work even though tons of beliebers were helping me. It was worth it in the end since Universal Music contacted me to meet Justin! It was all amazing. I was about to give up and then I had a M&G. It was the best thing that ever happened to me and I couldn’t stop crying, jumping or even shouting. On June 11 2012, I was at Universal’s office then going to his hotel. After almost 2 hours we we’re walking to his hotel. I couldn’t stop shaking, I was about to cry but didn’t want to since I was going to be all red in the picture. We were there. Carly Rae Jepsen winners entered first, we waited about another half hour until we entered. Justin was doing conferences so we couldn’t make any sounds, we waited another whole hour, we we’re about 25 Beliebers there. A woman came and told us since Justin was late, the pictures we’re going to be in groups of five. They took us to the room and we we’re going to meet Justin. We were going down and I saw Alfredo eating some cupcakes and I was like, “FREDO FREDO TEAMO,” and he told me, “teamo también shhh.” Then we were in a row and Kenny was walking in front of us. We started crying and shouting, we couldn’t control ourselves. Kenny hugged us and gave some hi-5s. Then I touched Moshe and told him “I LOVE YOU” He smiled me back and entered with Justin. Kenny opened the doors and Justin was there standing, taking some pictures. I started jumping and waving. He said, “HOLA,” and then met with the first group until it was my turn, which was one of the last ones. Scooter came out of the room, I started hugging him and he said, “Hey sweetie it’s almost your turn,” and I told him yes. Then they opened the doors, Justin looked at us and I was the first one and he said, “Hey come here for a hug!” I ran into his arms and hugged him telling him how much I loved him and how he ment to me. He told me he loved me too, he was so grateful. The others girls just waved at him, they we’re so shy and nervous. I couldn’t believe AFTER FOUR YEARS my dream came true. I started crying but then I remembered the picture and I was like oh no, wait. We got in group for the picture, I was right next to Justin and then I felt how he put his arms over me. I was shaking. They took it and then I hugged him again. I was crying, he was saying he loved me. I couldn’t believe it. He asked me my name, I answered Dani. Moshe was pulling me over him, I didn’t want to leave but I had too. I was the happiest girl ever, he waved and told me bye I love you. Then I saw Scooter so I ran and hugged him. A blonde women started recording us and Scooter was telling me, “SMILE DANI, SMILE YOU’RE GOING TO BE ON TV.” I hugged him and said to the camera, “NEVER SAY NEVER.” He told me, “Hope you can see us again on the Believe Tour.” I hugged him crying and left, everything was so perfect my almost four years, it was worth it. ‘I work hard, and music is really important to me,’ JB tells 100 lucky fans during MTV News special celebrating the release of Believe. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Sway Calloway Justin Bieber performs during “Bieber Live” Photo: Justin Bieber ‘s presence in our Times Square studio for the 30-minute special “Bieber Live” was cause for celebration, expertly timed with the release of his new album, Believe, which arrived in stores today. Bieber kicked off the MTV News special with a stripped-down performance of “Die in Your Arms,” which, in addition to inducing frenzied screams from the 100 lucky fans in the audience, set the tone for an insightful and lighthearted look into how much of himself Bieber put into the new album. Speaking to his inspiration for the dance track “All Around the World,” featuring Ludacris, Bieber said he was introduced to more and more dance music throughout his world travels and wanted to be able to showcase it in some way on Believe. “I wanted to incorporate it somewhat into my music and not overly use it,” he said. “But I felt like ‘All Around the World’ has that melodic feel to it, but also that dance feel, so I felt that was the perfect song for me.” Bieber said he is grateful Ludacris was able to contribute to another one of his songs. “To reunite with him was awesome,” Bieber said of Ludacris. “All my fans now love Luda because of ‘Baby,’ so having him back on this song was great. I’m taller than him now,” he added with a smile. The 18-year-old was also happy to surprise the audience with two special gifts: a copy of Believe and a bottle of his new fragrance, Girlfriend, which he described as being “not too fruity, nice and flowery.” “I told them they have to smell like all of my fans,” Bieber said of what he wanted the perfume manufacturers to incorporate in the fragrance. “Not too fruity, nice and flowery. There’s a cherry scent in there. In each bottle of Girlfriend, there’s a little bit of my sweat, it’s a secret ingredient,” he joked. In closing, Bieber thanked his devoted fans, but also offered up a message to those who aren’t yet fans or haven’t given him a chance. “I was very involved in the process [of making this album] — I played instruments, produced, wrote — so I want people to know it’s not all hype,” he said. “I want people to know I’ve been working hard on my music.
