Pay Yo Bills: Jets Reciever Braylon Edwards’ Sued [Again] For Child Support

He was already dragged to court back in 2010 for nonpayments for his first son. Braylon, Jr. According to The New York Post … New York Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards is being sued for child support again after fathering a second love child with yet another woman, Page Six can exclusively reveal. Edwards, 29, is being sued in Manhattan Family Court by stunning fashion blogger Ashton Whittington after she gave birth to a son, Ashton Arthur Whittington, who is now 18 months old. The NFL star — who joined the Jets earlier this month after tweeting “idiots calling shots” were ruining the team and makes his return in tonight’s game — was also sued in 2010 by “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Nik Pace with whom he secretly fathered a son, Braylon Jr., now 3. A source tells us, “Braylon and Ashton had a relationship, and around the time he was arrested in September 2010 [for DWI], she became pregnant. They are no longer together. He knows about his son and is paying interim child support, but Ashton is suing for a more formal child support agreement.” In the earlier case, we exclusively revealed that Pace was suing Edwards for child support in 2010. He’d tried to have the case heard in Georgia, hoping “to pay less money.” He was served in New York after Pace’s attorney Lauren Mallin , who happened to be dining at the same restaurant, Philippe, went to his table and handed him the papers. Edwards later settled with Pace here and agreed to pay support, which sources say is much lower than Pace’s reported $70,000-a-month demand. Now Whittington has hired top lawyer Mallin, who tells us, “We expect Mr. Edwards to provide appropriate support for his child.” In March, Edwards tweeted his undying love to most recent girlfriend Victoria Bow, “I will never let you down. You are my world . . . My twin, my soul, my earth, my beginning and my end. Damn, I am on top of the world.” A Jets rep declined to comment. Edwards’ lawyer Howard Michael Rudolph said he is “honoring his financial obligations, and there is an agreed [temporary] order in place.” SMH Images via twitter

A new report claims to get to the heart of the Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber break-up . First, according to Radar Online sources, Selena and Justin actually split once before, back around the time Bieber filmed an episode of Punk’d with Miley Cyrus . Why would that be a problem? “Selena is repulsed by Miley !” this insider claims, adding that Justin going ahead with the show “didn’t sit well” with his girlfriend. And while Cyrus played no part in the latest blow-up, Bieber’s work schedule has remained an issue. “He’s been continually choosing work over Selena and she’s finally had enough,” the source alleges, detailing how this issue came to a head when Justin performed this week at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. It didn’t help that Gomez found photos of him posing with models at the event. “Selena was pissed,” the site says. Gomez and Bieber supposedly met on Sunday to discuss their relationship, with the latter left to decide: does he want a steady girlfriend? Madonna To Play Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show

By Gil Kaufman Madonna Photo: Getty Images The worst-kept secret in sports and music has finally been confirmed: Madonna will play the halftime show at Super Bowl XLVI on February 5. The gig has been rumored for months, but on Sunday night the NFL confirmed that Madonna will make her Super Bowl debut in an extravaganza that will be “imagined” by Cirque du Soleil and her longtime choreographer/creative director Jamie King. The game is scheduled for the first Sunday in February at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and the half time booking continues a recent trend of inviting global superstars to rock the biggest TV event of the year. Madonna follows in the footsteps of last year’s entertainment, the Black Eyed Peas, as well as recent gigs by Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones, The Who, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, U2, Paul McCartney and Prince. The gig will take place just two days before Madonna’s English romantic drama, “W.E.,” hits theaters . The singer is also slated to release her as-yet-untitled 12th studio album in 2012 and a first single could drop around the time of the Super Bowl. Singer M.I.A. recently confirmed 
 that she and Nicki Minaj have collaborated with Madonna on a new song reportedly titled “Give Me All You Love,” which leaked last month. “Summond to NYC by bitchesses MADONNA and NICKIMINAJ,” M.I.A. tweeted over the Thanksgiving weekend. “cofffffiiiiiiieeeeeeeeee it iz a good day to get me tho trustttt bitches.” The leak may have pleased fans, but it left Madonna and her camp pretty unhappy. Shortly after the track hit the Web, Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary Tweeted a response to the leak. “The plan was for new music to come out in the new year,” he said. “I’m very happy with the positive reaction to the demo, but we are very upset with whoever leaked the song!!!!!!!! we are asking that the fans please help us police any more leaks. we have a lot in store for you. but please respect the process.” Madonna, via Oseary, also expressed her feelings about the leak. “Madonna told me this morning ‘my true fans wouldn’t do this,’ ” he wrote. “Whoever is responsible for this leak, we ask that you please stop!” Related Artists Madonna

There’s no doubt that this led to his successful hip-hop career. The Grammy-winning artist revealed how he began rapping thanks to a sports-related injury on this week’s episode of “When I Was 17,” airing Saturday at 11 a.m. ET. “When I was 17, I went to high school at [Chicago’s] Luther South, and I did well in high school,” the MC said on the episode, which also features T-Pain and “Twilight” star Alex Meraz. “I played basketball, but I got injured.” Common was hit in the eye during one of the games. Of course, that put him out of the game for a little bit, since it’s kind of important to be able to see what’s going on. So Common decided to use his time a little more productively than most other 17-year-olds. “When I got injured, I couldn’t play for a little while, so I started rapping more,” he said. “I would be in gym class, and I would, like, get somebody to start beatboxing, and I’d just start freestyling.” Even at such a young age, Common’s freestyling skills were unmatched. “He would be able to freestyle on any topic,” his friend Marlon recalled. “We would change topics for him, and he would be able to talk about and rap about it. It was actually amazing.” He went by the moniker Rashid Cool at the time, and people knew he was a force to be reckoned with. “It was right around the time hip-hop was getting strong, so you get respect. A lot of people were like, ‘Rashid Cool, you know he’s good people,’ ” Common said. “When I Was 17” — this week featuring T-Pain, Common and Alex Meraz — airs Saturday at 11 a.m. ET/PT on MTV. Music roster has proven to be formidable hip-hop hitmakers. Now put Big Sean , Kid Cudi , Pusha T and Kanye West together on one album and expectations will no doubt run high. In October, West set things up when he tweeted, “GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING2012,” and the date couldn’t come soon enough. While label producer Hit-Boy couldn’t confirm the sonic direction of the compilation, he assured MTV News that it’ll be quality. “It’s going to be G.O.O.D. Music-esque, which is great music,” the “N—as in Paris” producer said when he sat with MTV News last week. It’s a safe bet that ‘Ye will remain chief producer, but that doesn’t mean he won’t enlist others as he did on his 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and his tag-team album with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne . “We actually already started a couple of ideas for that, just bouncing around stuff,” Hit-Boy confirmed. “I just sent ‘Ye like 12 beats the other day. He hit me like, ‘I need joints.’ So we’re just going in.” The California producer scored the most exciting track on WTT with “N—as in Paris,” but he revealed to MTV News that he made a few more records for the high-profile album that just didn’t make the final cut. “The crazy thing about the ‘Paris’ record is that record just came out of nowhere, pretty much,” Hit-Boy said. “I did other records that were talked about being singles and all types of stuff, so I was hyped over those records.” It seems that those records won’t go to waste either as a few, if not all, will end up on the G.O.O.D. Music album. “We made a lot of music around the time we were working on Watch the Throne so joints will end up where they’re supposed to,” he said. Some Morning Handsome: Idris Elba Talks Early Fatherhood Struggles And Paternity Rumors

In case you missed it, Idris Elba covers the latest issue of Essence Magazine. And in addition to being as gorgeous as always, he talks about the struggle he was living around the time his nine-year-old daughter Isan was born. In the late 1990′s, after his sisterlike friend Marsha Burnett made the move to the U.S., Elba left the night shift at the Ford Motors plant he worked at with his father and hopped the pod with hopes of becoming an actor. “He’d deejay at night, crash on the counch in the apartment I was sharing, and come to my office at Bad Boy Records and just sit in the corner till it was time for the night to start again,” says Burnett. When he’d earned enough, Elba rented a room at the YMCA on 14th Street. Later he moved his wife and record collection from England to an apartment in the East Village, attending auditions by day and hitting clubs where he hoped to deejay at night. But DJ gigs weren’t enough to support his then pregnant wife, and their union was shaky. “That was one of my most desperate times,” says Elba, who had just begun auditioning for The Wire in the winter of 2001. “My marriage was breaking up, the acting wasn’t popping off, she was pregnant… It was like, ‘Ugh!’” He throws his head back dramatically recalling those days. “Those were bleak times.” Despite all of that, fatherhood seems to have turned out pretty well for him.
