So I’m bumping around the Web this morning looking for any morsel of sustenance in the Great News Drought of 2010 when I learn that the one and only Bruno S. died late last week. You know: Bruno S.? Berlin street musician and Werner Herzog’s haunted, haunting leading man from Enigma of Kaspar Hauser and Strozsek ? Oh. Well, the only thing more troubling than arriving almost five days late to the news is that I had to hear it from Sasha Grey. Via Twitter.

Greyson Michael Chance Performs on The Ellen Show (and Talks to Lady Gaga!)

This morning Greyson officially hit the big time by appearing on The Ellen Show , and even received a special phone call from “Miss Gaga” herself. We love when talented kids make the jump from the web to the TV and Ellen’s producers are seriously on their game right now. (Speaking of, can you see this right now you guys? Every Star Wars Geek on Earth to Appear in Stitched-Together Remake

The event has been coming for a while, and now it appears April 19 is officially D-Day for the fan-generated Star Wars Uncut . The project solicited 15-second clips from 472 amateur filmmakers around the Web, finally tying the pieces together in a kind of patchwork remake of George Lucas’s original classic. No CGI Jabba the Hutt inserts, no revised battle scenes, no generally Lucasian BS — just Lego Obi-Wan cut down by his archnemesis Lego Darth Vader, grown men in casual Wookiee wear, abstract cutaways of dogs, incompetent green-screen deployment, creatively used ladders and so, so much more. I call dibs on the frozen Han Solo sequence in the inevitable Empire Strikes Back Uncut sequel. Click through for the video.
