A Naples, Florida resident is under arrest today after his mother called the authorities to report that her son was keeping a baby alligator in her bathtub. Sean Lewis, 45, was reportedly keeping an eye on the creature for a friend and created his own little aquarium in the bathroom, replete with a cinderblock for the animal to lie on and a lightbulb to serve as the sun. After several days, however, Sean’s mother grew irritated by the unwelcome guest and called 911 to have her kid booked on charges of alligator poaching. Teacher Arrested For Having Sex With Boy According to Mail Online A 39-year-old teacher has been arrested on forced sex and sodomy charges involving a student under the age of 16, it emerged today. Sixth-grade teacher Jennifer Collins McNeill, from Alabama, is alleged to have had a sexual affair with a boy aged between 12 and 16 from April 2012 to June 2013. McNeill worked at Thorsby High School where she primarily taught six graders. She was also a sponsor for the cheerleader team. She was arrested on the day students returned to school from the summer break, AL.com reported. Sheriff Kevin Davis says his office began investigating allegations that McNeill was having sex with a student after they got a call from the Department of Human Resources. ‘A very good investigation has been done. In my opinion, some very strong evidence has been collected throughout that investigation,’ Sheriff Davis said. The married teacher’s arrest stunned school chiefs. ‘That we’re all shocked and disappointment doesn’t describe it,’ said Chilton County Schools Superintendent Dave Hayden. He said she was placed on administrative leave, but it has yet to be determined if she will continue to receive her full pay. Warrants filed in court show that McNeill is charged with having had sexual intercourse with a juvenile male less than 16 years of age, but older than 12, between April 10, 2012 and June 28 of this year. The juvenile does not go to school at Thorsby, but is a student in the county. Sheriff Davis told WTOX parents had to be able to trust teachers. He said: ‘I dropped off my 12-year-old this morning for the first day of school like other parents across this county and the state for that matter. ‘I take a certain amount of responsibility for those kids through school resource officers and us trying to keep them protected through that side, but we also entrust, as parents, a lot of trust to teachers and principals and administrators of the school system.’ McNeill was charged with six counts of second degree forced sex and two counts of second degree sodomy. News crews who attempted to speak with McNeill got no reply at her home a block from the High School where she taught. It’s not clear if she will receive her full pay? SMH.

A Baltimore woman has been charged with second-degree murder after confessing that she gave her two grandchildren doses of methadone in order to help them fall asleep. Authorities say Towanda Reaves , 50, confessed that she rubbed this powerful pain killer on the gums of her one-year old grandson and two-year old granddaughter. The former died as a result of the incident. Woman Arrested for Giving Methadone to Grandkids Reaves reportedly turned over an empty bottle of the dangerous medicine – which is often given to heroin addicts to manage their cravings for opiates and ease the symptoms of withdrawal – to police. Neighbors, meanwhile, were stunned by the development and insisted that Reaves had no ill intentions. “She really took care of them. As far as I can see, she wasn’t a bad person,” one women told a local CBS affiliate. Reaves is due in court for a preliminary hearing on August 29.

Mother Arrested For Forcing Child To Take Lewd Pictures According to Mail Online A mother has been arrested after she allegedly forced her young daughter to take freaky photographs of her to send to her inmate fiancé. Jodi Roberts, from Wabash Valley, Indiana, is facing a federal charge of conducting a performance harmful to minors after making her nine-year-old child take naked pictures of her in sexually graphic poses, authorities said. Roberts’ actions were discovered when prison guards opened a letter containing the lewd pictures that was addressed to her fiancé Jeremiah LaMaster last week. Roberts, a gas station cashier, is due to appear in court over the charge but a date has not yet been set. It is not known who is taking care of the nine-year-old girl. Roberts also appears to have a young son. Her 24-year-old fiancé was arrested in May and charged with felony aggravated battery. He was involved in a 45-minute stand-off with police in Terre Haute as they tried to arrest him in May. Lamaster was previously convicted of reckless homicide and is known to police as a repeat offender. He is being held on $100,000 bail at Vigo County Jail and is due in court on July 23. Anessa Dawn Olive Ferguson was held at her home after police in Alabama launched an investigation following a tip off from a family member. The 37 year old is described as a mother of three who lives with her husband on Maxwell Elementary School’s website – where she worked in Duncanville, Alabama. She was indicted this week by a grand jury on charges of engaging in sexual intercourse, ‘deviate’ sexual intercourse and sexual contact by ‘forcible compulsion’ with a member of the opposite sex between the ages of 12 and 16. Ferguson was arrested on Wednesday, July 3, Lt. Andy Norris with the Tuscaloosa Sheriff’s Department said. Mail Online spoke to Lt. Andy Norris, but he is unable to confirm whether it was Mrs Ferguson’s husband who tipped off police. She was suspended from her job in December 2012 after the allegations were first investigated. Norris said the incidents did not involve any students with the school system. The documents describe the act as sexual intercourse with a victim who the defendant knew to be related, either by blood, adoption or marriage. Ferguson was booked into jail and received a $25,000 bond. Her arraignment hearing is scheduled for September 6. Ferguson is reported to have relatives living in the Geneva and Enterprise area.
