Man Breaks Into House But Falls Asleep On Couch Welcome to Florida … Via Bradenton : A South Florida family says they came home to chicken bones and empty beer bottles on their kitchen floor and an unknown man sleeping on their couch. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies found 22-year-old Jacob Miller still asleep when they responded to the Lake Worth home Monday. After taking Miller into custody, the deputies reported finding numerous items of jewelry on the man that belonged to the family. The Palm Beach Post ( http://goo.gl/M0vixi ) reports that Miller told deputies he went into the home because he needed a place to stay but refused to answer any other questions. Miller was charged with burglary and theft. Records also showed an open warrant in Texas for burglary. You can’t be serious!!!
Woman Attempts To Consume Crack In Front Of Drug Officers Drugs are bad, m’kay ? Via MailOnline : A woman who was wanted for theft tried to eat and swallow crack cocaine while being arrested by officers. Linda Blank, 48, was stopped by detectives on Cleveland Street near Dewey Avenue in Douglas, Georgia. Following her arrest she provided a striking mug shot, in which she looks somewhat dazed and confused. After stopping her on the street, officers discovered that Blank was wanted for probation violation and for theft – and they started to arrest her. She then tried to swallow a small amount of crack cocaine while she was being apprehended. An arrest warrant states that officers were able to stop Blank from swallowing the drugs and took them from her, according to WALB. She has been charged with possession of cocaine. SMH! That mugshot is priceless , though.
Teen Mom Who Carried Dead In Shopping Bag Is Charged With Murder The teen mom caught with a dead newborn in a shopping bag in 2013 while allegedly shoplifting at a Victoria’s Secret was charged with murdering the baby boy on Thursday. Via NY Daily News : Tiona Rodriguez, 18, “carried out the murder of her newborn infant and then callously shoved him in a bag with the plan of — in her words — to ‘take this s— and dig a hole, put it somewhere, lol, then we go eat IHOP,’” prosecutor Rachel Ferrari said. She was quoting a text message Rodriguez sent at the teen’s arraignment on a second-degree murder charge. The charge, filed nearly two years after the baby’s death, stems from the Brooklyn teen’s bizarre Oct. 17, 2013 shoplifting arrest. She had been charged with lifting a $44.50 pair of skinny jeans from the Herald Square store one day after her baby was born. When security searched her bag to investigate the theft, they made the gruesome and heartbreaking discovery. Ferrari said the teen “became pregnant in early 2013 and told no one. She knew she would be in big trouble if her family found out. So, she made a plan to kill this baby,” and “began plotting weeks before he was born.” “She took steps to get ready, and on October 16, 2013, she woke up and knew that this was the day. She contacted a friend and went to her home in Queens, away from the prying eyes of her friends, her family, her community in Brooklyn,” Ferrari said. “She took a bag with her, and a change of clothes. And she went into her friend’s bathroom, turned on the tub, and gave birth to her baby. Ripping the cord with her bare hands.” Ferrari said Rodriguez’s baby was 8 pounds and was full term. The former baller got caught running a Ponzi scheme and now decades years in the slammer. Via Bleacher Report : Former NFL cornerback Will Allen is facing decades in prison after being indicted on 23 felony counts stemming from an alleged Ponzi scheme run by the 36-year-old and a co-conspirator. Allen faces “12 counts of wire fraud, six counts of aggravated identity theft, one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of illegal monetary transactions,” according to records obtained by Jeff Ostrowski of the Palm Beach Post. Each charge of wire fraud could result in a 20-year prison sentence, according to Ostrowski, with shorter sentences for the other felonies. Prosecutors allege Allen and Susan Daub were the heads of a business, Capital Financial Partners, that offered short-term loans to professional athletes but ultimately defrauded investors of nearly $14 million. Of the $31.7 million obtained from investors, only $18 million went to the loans. “The defendants sold investors on the idea of lending money to pro athletes, but we allege that’s not where a large portion of the investors’ money went,” Paul G. Voodoo Priest Raped Girl To Cleanse Her Of Evil Spirits A self-proclaimed voodoo priest in South Florida was charged with sexual battery last month after allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl while claiming it was to “cleanse evil spirits.” Via PIX 11 : Police in the city of Sunrise revealed at a press conference Friday that Brogenet Cinor convinced a girl, who is now 16, and her mother that he has healing powers back in 2009. According to the Sun-Sentinel, Cinor told the girl and her mother he could feel evil spirits coming from the girl during a spiritual consultation. He then took her into a tiki-style backyard shed and had sex with her, police say. After the incident, the girl told her mom, who confronted Cinor. However, the voodoo man threatened to curse the woman if she went to authorities. “He was using the victims’ belief in voodoo and curses,”Sunrise police Officer Cindi McCue told the Sun-Sentinel. “They believed they could die if they didn’t follow his instructions.” It was only years later, after the girl told her father about what happened during the “voodoo consultation,” that police learned of the alleged assault. This isn’t the only time Cinor, who’s been practicing as a voodoo priest in the area for at least a decade, has used fear to coerce women into sex, police say. Two years ago, two separate women told police they had sex with Cinor after he told them they needed a spiritual cleansing. One of the women, who said Cinor told her she would die if she didn’t have sex with him, became pregnant. She said Cinor later gave her $500 to get an abortion. NFL Lineman John Abraham Arrested For Fight In Atlanta Strip Club How can you possibly be this angry when you’re surrounded by all those cakes ? Via HuffingtonPost NFL veteran John Abraham turned himself in Thursday after a warrant was issued for an alleged assault at an Atlanta suburb strip club in February, police in Brookhaven, Georgia, told The Huffington Post. Abraham was wanted on a charge of misdemeanor battery. A defensive end who played for the Jets, Falcons and Cardinals over 15 seasons, Abraham is accused of striking Vladmir Ako five times at the Pink Pony on Feb. 28, bloodying Ako’s nose. The two were in the beverage business together. Abraham surrendered at around 3 p.m. and was booked into DeKalb County Jail, a police spokesman said. He was later released on bond. The warrant had been issued just days ago because police only recently obtained surveillance video of the alleged attack, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution noted. The same strip club has been associated with other trouble for Abraham. Last summer he was arrested on drunk driving charges after he departed the Pink Pony. Cemetery Worker Steals Granite Headstones To Make Tile Flooring SMH. A Rhode Island cemetery worker was discovered swiping granite headstones from the graves of war veterans to make fancy tile flooring for his garage. Via MailOnline : A cemetery worker in Rhode Island is expected to admit that he stole granite headstones from the graves of U.S. veterans and used them as flooring. Kevin Maynard, a 59-year-old who worked at a veterans’ burial ground in Exeter, reportedly admitted taking at least 150 of the granite slabs and using them for projects including a shed and two garages. Photos taken by federal investigators show some of the flagstones face-up inside a garage, with the details of a Second World War veteran clearly visible. Other stones had been turned over, leaving the details of the soldier they were meant to honor pounded down into the dirt. A federal investigator said he saw other stones spattered with trash and motor oil. According to local news station WPRI, which revealed the investigation, Maynard bragged to his colleagues about taking the stones, which had been taken from the ground because they were due to be replaced. According to federal rules on veterans’ cemeteries, all granite headstones due to be replaced must be ground up to protect the dignity of the buried soldiers. Man, he couldn’t even turn all the tiles over? So everytime he pulls into his driveway he has to read “here lies John?” SMH!
