Source: Jeff Kravitz / Getty Nicole Murphy is apologizing after getting caught kissing and behaving inappropriately with Antoine Fuqua. According to Murphy, she didn’t know Fuqua and Lela Rochon were still married, and was giving him a friendly kiss, which would of course contradict him being a family friend. In a statement to TMZ , Murphy apologizes to her family and Lela for her behavior. “Without going into the entire situation, I want to apologize to my family, and to Lela and the Fuqua family for what transpired,” she said. “It was not my intention to be in this situation. I do not condone women kissing or interacting in anyway inappropriately with a married man. I too was once married and I would never intentionally undermine another woman, despite what has been written.” Murphy originally told LoveBScott , she and Fuqua were exchanging a “friendly” kiss between “family friends.” Clearly, there’s some lies being told from both parties. Neither Lela or Antoine have responded to the leaked photos, but Lela did delete her social media. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any messier, Lisa Raye and Da Brat stepped into the conversation accusing Murphy of trying to get with Lisa’s ex-husband. As time goes on, things with Jenelle Evans and David Eason get worse and worse. Like, we’re getting to the point where they could cause the downfall of the entire human race within the next decade. It’s bad. They’re just so awful, you know? So cruel and careless and mean and offensive … so many bad things. This has been true for years and years now, even before they met, but in case there was any doubt, they’ve really gone and proved it in these past few months. You know what’s been going on — at the end of April, David killed Nugget, Jenelle’s French bulldog . A police investigation began, and someone on the case told CPS that they should probably remove all the kids from the home, so Maryssa, Kaiser, and Ensley went to temporary guardians . There was a court case, Jenelle and David blew off some of their weekly supervised visits for dumb reasons, and there was a particularly awful story about how they didn’t even want Maryssa anymore , so they were just going to fight for Kaiser and Ensley. Lots of questionable things came out, like the video where he called her a piece of sh-t and told her she could die for all he cares , as well as a 911 call from last December because he was outside destroying things . Most people assumed that the case would drag on for months, and that with as obviously horrible as they are, Jenelle and David wouldn’t regain custody. But that was wrong. The case ended super suddenly , as did the police investigation, and now everything is back to normal, with all the kids back on The Land and David seeing no consequences for killing a dog. Oh, except also Jenelle is now refusing to admit that David killed the dog — her story now is that she doesn’t know what happened, and she never heard a gunshot, and please stop asking. Ridiculous, right? But wait! For the latest chapter in this horrifying saga, there are new leaked text messages that allegedly show David asking a friend to help him burn the bodies of both Nugget and Jax , Jenelle’s other dog so the police don’t find them. There’s no proof that the texts are from David, but still, the latest story is about David burning the corpses of Jenelle’s two dogs. Don’t worry though, everything is great with them! Yesterday, Jenelle shared the following on her Instagram story: See? They’re “stronger than ever.” And you can’t lie on an Instagram sotry, them’s the rules. Look, this is really just sad — it’s so painfully obvious that Jenelle is doing anything and everything to convince everyone that David is a good guy and they have a strong marriage. She’s had so many terrible relationships, she’s clearly been desperate to prove everyone wrong with this one, even though we can all plainly see what a train wreck it is. These days, the Duggars are internationally renowned and arguably the most famous evangelicals on the planet. But there was a time when they were just a humble — albeit massive — family from Arkansas with a whole lot of mouths to feed and little knowledge of the outside world. Actually, that’s partially a narrative constructed by TLC, as Jim Bob has always had huge ambitions in the worlds of politics and business, but we’ll leave that conversation for another time. Anyway, in the pre- Josh Duggar sex scandal days when the family’s original show — 19 Kids and Counting — had yet to be canceled, producers reveled in forcing the rubes to leave their beloved compound and interact with big city folk. Sometimes this resulted in lame, fish-out-of-water, Beverly Hillbillies humor. On other occasions, however, it served to highlight the bigotry inherent to the Duggars’ belief system. The most appalling example of the latter type of scenario occurred way back in 2008, when Jim Bob and Michelle were not quite through breeding, and the show was titled 17 Kids and Counting . The incident was first reported by Gawker in 2015, but in recent weeks, it’s become a topic of heated debate on Duggar-related message boards for reasons that aren’t entirely clear. But while we may be uncertain of why the controversy has been unearthed, it remains a potent reminder of the hate and homophobia that exist at the very heart of the Duggars’ belief system, and so we’re happy to revisit it. According to crew members who worked on the show at that time, the Duggars were preparing for a trip to New York City when Michelle suddenly became anxious. She admitted to several behind-the-scenes staffers that she was nervous about the trip due to rumors she had heard regarding NYC’s diverse population. “Well, I hear the city is overrun by gays,” Michelle said to the crew. “Has that been causing a lot of problems?” One of the crew members reportedly gestured to an openly gay co-worker to indicate to Michelle that she would be just fine. Everyone laughed — except, presumably, for Michelle — who complained to the show’s top brass about the crew member’s sexual orientaton. Shortly thereafter, the unidentified staffer was transferred to a different project belonging to the same production company. So he was not “fired,” as some reports suggest, but he was hurried from the Duggars’ home, never to have any contact with the family again. “They kept a very tight lid on this incident,” an insider told Gawker . “On future tapings when new crews would be swapped in, they were suspiciously more and more straight-edged Christian than you’d typically see on the set of a television show.” Michelle, of course, has a long history of practicing and expressing some shockingly bigoted beliefs. She long ago cut ties with Evelyn Ruark , her openly gay sister, seemingly for no other reason than that Evelyn is a lesbian. Back in 2014, Michelle lent her voice to robocalls supporting a series of discriminatory, transphobic laws regarding housing and bathroom use. We joke at the Duggars’ expense an awful lot around here. But frequently, we’re reminded that their shockingly backward worldview is no laughing matter. Another day, another terrifying update on actress Hayden Panettiere and her tumultuous relationship with Brian Hickerson. Hickerson was arrested in May on domestic violence charges and is currently out on bond. The incident was initially shrouded in secrecy, but we now know that Panettiere was Hickerson’s victim , and cops responded to a call from a neighbor who claimed to have heard a woman cry out in pain. Little is known about Hickerson, but court filings pertaining to his upcoming trial paint a picture of a very unstable and frightening man. We already knew that Hickerson had been arrested for assaulting his father in the early months of his relationship with Hayden (who was on the scene and witnessed the alleged assault). Now, we know that that wasn’t the first time in the past year that Hickerson’s violent temper has brought him into contact with police. Far from it, in fact. According to a new report from Radar Online, police were called to Hayden’s home in August of 2018 when Hickerson allegedly assaulted his brother. Then, in October of the same year, police responded to a “group disturbance” at Panettiere’s residence. The exact nature of that incident remains a mystery. Cops were back at Hayden’s palatial Hollywood Hills home just a few weeks later when neighbors reported a “verbal dispute” between a male and female who sounded as though they were “possibly breaking items.” A judge has issued an order of protection prohibiting Hickerson from coming within 100 feet of Panettiere . Clearly, he’s not too concerned with the consequences of violating the order, however, as Brian and Hayden are still dating despite the numerous violent incidents that have marred their relationship. According to Radar, Hickerson was in court today for a preliminary hearing, and he had a surprise guest with him. The 30-year-old has apparently hired top-dollar defense attorney Shawn Holley, who has previously represented the likes of O.J. Simpson, Kim Kardashian, and Lindsay Lohan. Little is known about Hickerson’s finances, but it seems likely that Hayden will be footing the bill for Holley’s services. Concerned family and friends have pleaded with Hayden to end her relationship with Hickerson. During part 1 of the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Season 4 Tell All, Colt and Chantel got into a heated conflict backstage. It turns out that they weren’t the only ones — Colt was picking fights with each and every one of his castmates. Here’s the inside scoop on his behavior, and Coltee even confirms some of it. It almost earned him an epic smackdown from Pedro. “He was being a jerk before we all sat down,” Nicole Nafziger revealed on Instagram. He wasn’t just picking on Pedro and Chantel. He was trying to strike a nerve with anyone and with everyone. “He was asking each couple a rude question,” Nicole recalls. “Like he asked me if my relationship was even real?” she accuses. “Is that really the first thing you ask someone?” “He wasn’t very nice to everyone,” Nicole describes. “He came on defense and offense,” she says of Colt. “He was rude.” That definitely sounds very true to his character. When it comes to his argument with Chantel, Nicole says that Chantel was in the right to respond the way that she did. “She [had] a reason to snap at him,” Nicole says. “He went at her backstage even though it wasn’t seen,” Nicole continues. And Chantel was not the only castmate whom he successfully annoyed. “He asked Ashley if she had scammed anyone lately,” Nicole recalls. “And called her ‘Trashley.'” “They got into it, and it actually was more explosive than the fight they showed with Chantel,” she says. Nicole continues: “as Ashley was yelling at him much louder than Chantel yelled at him.” In Touch Weekly reported on the animosity between Ashley and Colt. “When she got sat next to him, she was like, ‘Oh for f–k’s sake, seriously?’” the insider shares. The source notes: “They also didn’t show that.” “There was a whole other argument not shown between Colt and Pedro,” the insider reveals. “Colt was starting with him and Pedro almost hit him.” “Colt kept saying to Pedro, ‘Come at me, come on tough guy,'” the source shares. “They were arguing up to the second they came out on set,” the insider says. “It was quite an explosive day,” the source adds. “And, for some reason, Colt started with everyone individually,” the insider remarks. The source acknowledges that Colt was engaging in this bizarre behaio “even though no one was starting with him.” That sounds deeply toxic, even for a reality star. Coltee evem responded to In Touch Weekly when asked about his behavior. “Yes, I can exclusively confirm to you that I did indeed call Ashley ‘Trashley,'” Colt wrote. He added: “Nicole has been in a long distance relationship for many years without any sign of progression or interest in getting married” “Chantel is a hypocrite and literally is human noise,” Colt characterized. To fans of the show, Colt wrote: “Thank you and keep watching.” Colt’s personality quirks and abrasive personal habits have been observed by countless fans and viewers of 90 Day Fiance .
