Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty Watch 2019’s XXL Freshman Class Behind-The-Scenes At Their Cover Shoot Earlier this week, XXL revealed their picks for the 2019 Freshman Cover: Comethazine, Tierra Whack, DaBaby , Lil Mosey, Roddy Ricch, YBN Cordae, YK Osiris, Rico Nasty, Gunna, Megan Thee Stallion and the 10th Spot winner, Blueface . But before the reveal came the cover shoot, and the mag just released some behind-the-scenes footage from when the new class of hip-hop came together to make their presence known. F or Jackson State University graduate student LaMonté Pierce what started out as a class project focused on addressing an issue faced by communities in Mississippi led to the creation of a product designed to combat lead poisoning in water, WJTV reported. They designed a straw that could be used to filter water. Pierce and his classmate Andrew Willis decided to go beyond the project and continue to do research and testing to turn the straw into a product that would be a catalyst in addressing water contamination in communities across the globe. Pierce’s efforts led to the creation of Cleanstraww . The straws are made of non-toxic materials and has a three-step filtering process which divides sediment and particles from water. He utilized a 3-D printer for the creation of the straw. “I saw somewhere they were drinking out of toilets, they were drinking from the river, different things like that. They use simple filters that you can find in everyday filters, but the thing was they did not filter out lead. If we can filter out lead, we can pretty much filter out anything,” he told the news outlet. “Take the responsibility of clean water directly out of the government, state and city officials hands and put it in the hands of the consumers. If you want clean water, here you go.” Several national retailers have expressed interest in selling his product, including Walmart. Pierce hopes that he can find investors for his product to grow his business and create more jobs in Mississippi. Products like Cleanstraww are needed. Source: fstop123 / Getty An Ohio Gym Teacher Has Been Charged With Molesting 28 First Graders According to People , an Ohio gym teacher is accused of sexually abusing 28 first-grade girls. John Austin Hopkins was reportedly charged with 36 counts of gross sexual imposition with 28 first-grade girls by a grand jury. The case began after a concerned father met with the principal at Clearcreek Elementary School after expressing concern when his daughter told him that she “got to sit on Mr. Hopkins lap.” So school administrators checked the footage from the gym’s security cameras and allegedly saw the girl sitting on Hopkins’ lap, confirming the parents concerns. John Austin Hopkins was immediately removed from the classroom and turned it over to the Springboro Police Department and a full investigation began prompting authorities to study security camera footage dating back to December 2018. In the video, Hopkins was allegedly seen putting his hands up the shirts and skirts of the girls. The grand jury was presented with incidences of alleged inappropriate touching of 88 different first grade girls. They decided to indict 36 counts of gross sexual imposition related to 28 different girls. The 36 sexual misconduct charges are all third-degree felonies, which each carry a 5-year maximum prison sentence.

Earlier this month, a report on AllAbouttheTea.com stated that Edmonds cheated on his wife – former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan – last spring. This allegation on its own would be disturbing enough, of course. But Meghan was pregnant with the couple’s twins at the time and the report detailed lewd behavior on Edmonds’ part that went way beyond inappropriate boinking. To wit: Jim allegedly went out of his to contact this other woman years after he cheated on his previous wife with her. Jim met her to have sex during road trips back when he was working as a broadcaster. Jim allegedly sent her photos of his penis. Jim allegedly sent her a video of him masturbating ON THE SAME DAY HIS WIFE GAVE BIRTH TO THEIR AFOREMENTIONED TWINS. For the record, Edmonds has denied actually having had a physical affair with the other woman. But he has admitted to using very poor judgment in sending her some X-rated text messages. How does Jennifer McFelia Villegas feel about his response? That question is important because Jennifer McFelia Villegas has outed herself as the mistress with whom Jim did all his cheating. “I want to make a few things very clear — I never set anyone up, blackmailed anyone nor have I attempted to ruin anyone’s family,” she told AllAbouttheTea , adding in further detail: “All my relationships have involved two consenting adults. I made a poor decision to enter a relationship with a married man, and for that I am sorry. “I am no saint. My past includes two DUIs and for that I am deeply remorseful and I’ve learned from my mistakes. “My life today is completely devoted to my relationship with God and my daughter.” Here is a photo of Villegas with Edmonds: According to Us Weekly, meanwhile, the now-ex-wife of a different professional baseball player says Villegas made a point to contact her then-husband and may have also had an affair with him. “This is not just a jersey chaser who is impressed by a potential big name athlete and wants to sleep with him,” this unnamed woman tells the tabloid of Villegas, adding: “It was a whole mastermind manipulation scheme.” Other soures confirm this claim and say that Villegas has made a living/hobby/pastime out of trying to sleep with various athlets. In 2016, four years after a drunk driving arrest, Villegas was accused of leaving “her infant daughter in her car … with no supervision,” according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly. Jim and Meghan got married in October of 2014. They’re the parents of two-year-old Aspen and 12-month-old twins Hayes and Hart. The former Bravo personality penned a lengthy post about Jim’s scandal on June 14, admitting she could no longer “trust” her husband of nearly five years. “I’m a simple girl. I wanted a solid marriage. I’m as loyal as they come and I wanted the vows we made when we exchanged our rings to be acted upon. Now my wedding ring symbolizes fraud,” she wrote, continuing as follows: “Marriage is hard, we’ve been through our ups and downs, I’ve talked about it openly. A relationship takes two but it doesn’t take two to cheat.” And then she concluded, clearly heartbroken: “Marriage is a choice on the bad days. And on the good days marriage is easy and beautiful. No one said it would be easy, I just didn’t think it would be this hard.” Meghan also spoke to Us Weekly after Villegas was identified, telling the publication: “I only blame my husband for his actions: he made the choice to betray my trust and jeopardize our marriage. His recklessness also allowed this woman to profit from my heartbreak. But now that her name is out there, she won’t be able to shake down any other families as I rebuild mine.

Roddy Ricch kicked off the show at the Staples Center wearing a white puffer jacket despite LA’s warm temperatures. A Boogie laughed and joked with the crowd through his set before YG paid tribute to Nipsey Hussle in his. They listened to rapper Moses Stone as he performed McDonald’s “Black and Positively Golden” campaign theme song, “We Golden,” and they sat in on a Genius Talk featuring ASAP Ferg. McDonald’s debuted its own imprint inside the convention center, the McDonald’s “Black & Positively” fan fest experience at BETX, where guests were treated to performances, a dance-off, a mobile studio where fans could create their own songs, and lots of free Chicken McNuggets and fries. Houston rapper Tobe Nwigwe performed new songs during a set at the McDonald’s stage, and before his showcase, told BOSSIP that the fast food brand’s “Black and Positively Golden” initiative aligned with his message as an emcee. The operation is reportedly being referred to as the “family op” by ICE and the Department of Homeland Security. ….long before they get to our Southern Border.
